ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each CVLI membership comes with ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 10,000+ Scene Ideas and 500+ Scene Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for over 300,000 songs and over 4,500 publishers and song owners. Currently, over 200,000 churches globally are Church Copyright License holders.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from over 1,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Young Princeling Gristle is riding his trike through the palace.  Inside the King's bedroom, the King is snoring peacefully.  Suddenly, his door bursts open and Gristle plows through on his trike.  The young boy flies through the air, landing on his father's stomach.  The King grunts painfully.  Gristle, brightly: "Good morning, Daddy!"  The King resumes his snoring.  Gristle, not to be deterred, tries to pry open his father's eyelids: "Daddy, wake up!  Wake up, Daddy!  Wake up!"  The King's sleep-bleared eyes slowly open for a brief moment before succumbing to the weight of sleep.  Gristle, switching tactics, gets back on his father's stomach, using it for a trampoline: "Daddy!  Daddy!  Daddy!"  Receiving no response, he grabs two fistfuls of his father's chest hair and tears them out: "Wake up!"  The King screams, finally fully awake.

The Bergens have just discovered that the Trolls have escaped their prison.  The Chef and her minions chase after them, determined to bring back the tiny creatures so they can be eaten.  Underground, King Peppy is leading the Trolls through tunnels, hoping to reach safety outside the land of the Bergens.  A Troll approaches him: "King Peppy, some of the others can't keep up!"  Crying out determinedly, the King himself runs back toward the stragglers: "No Troll left behind!"  Racing through the crowd, he tosses items of his own clothing over holes and pits, allowing children and the elderly to cross over them more easily.  By the time he reaches the back, he is wearing only his underwear, but the Trolls are all making progress.  He lifts a monstrous tree root so a family can pass by: "Thank you, King Peppy!"  His grateful people all continue down the tunnels with the King at the rear of the pack.  The King is now carrying a dozen or so of the weakest Trolls on his back.  Suddenly, the blade of a Bergen pickaxe thrusts into the tunnel, trapping the King by his undies.  Seeing that another pickaxe is about to pierce the tunnel ahead, he heaves his remaining Trolls with a mighty thrust and tosses them to safety on the other side.  The Trolls roll down the rest of the tunnel and land safely outside with the others.  One of the bunch limps back to peer inside the dark tunnel, saying, sadly: "I don't think King Peppy made it."  But, just as he finishes, a shadow appears and a voice booms: "When I say no Troll left behind, I mean no Troll left behind!"  The King appears (missing his underwear), and the crowd cheers for their brave, heroic leader.  (Caution: Troll's naked bottom shown)

Poppy, on a mission to rescue her friends, starts her perilous journey through a dark forest.  She looks out with some trepidation on the scary road ahead and begins to sing, choosing to see her challenges in a positive light.  She focuses on the sunshine, the beautiful day, and a butterfly, only to watch the butterfly be eaten by a series of increasingly scary creatures.  But, she continues on, singing: ♪ "It's gonna be a fantastic day." ♪ Poppy sings hopefully of the adventure ahead, all the while braving dangers and foes.  A snake chases her, attempting to gobble her up, but Poppy sings through her fear: ♪ "Just riding on a rainbow, I'm gonna be okay.  Hey!  I'm not giving up today.  There's nothing getting in my way.  And if you knock, knock me over, I will get back up again!" ♪ Having successfully evaded the snake, Poppy now is faced with a hungry mama bird.  The bird carries Poppy to her nest, where two chicks try to make her lunch.  Poppy continues to sing: ♪ "Oh, if something goes a little wrong, you can go ahead and bring it on.  'Cause if you knock, knock me over, I will get back up again!" ♪ Poppy escapes the nest, but faces a series of hazards that never seem to drain her confidence.  She trudges through desert and snowstorm, looking at it all with a sense of adventure.  When a Venus fly trap almost eats her, she is tempted to think: ♪ "What if it's all a big mistake, what if it's more than I can take?" ♪ But she realizes the danger in such an attitude: ♪ "No!  I can't think that way!  'Cause I know that I'm really, really, really gonna be okay!" ♪ Poppy continues to face more trials, but even at the darkest of times, she refuses to give up.

Branch has just joined Poppy on her mission to save the Trolls.  Poppy is excited to begin what she sees as an adventure: "All right!  Let's do this!  Sooner we get to Bergen Town, the sooner we can rescue everybody and make it home safely."  Poppy begins walking in the general direction of their destination.  Branch: "Wait, wait, wait.  What's your plan?"  Poppy, rolling her eyes: "I just told you.  To rescue everyone and make it home safely."  Branch: "That's not a plan.  That's a wish list."  Poppy, sarcastically: "Oh, I suppose you have a plan?"  Branch, always prepared, begins to outline his ideas.  He describes his plan in detail, only to discover that Poppy has been scrapbooking the whole time.  Poppy, finishing, holds up her project for his inspection.  It is a colorful picture of them successfully rescuing their friends.  A stream of glitter shoots out from the picture, covering Branch's glaring face.  Blowing glitter from his nose, Branch lays down an ultimatum: "There will be no more scrapbooking."

Poppy and Branch are on a mission to rescue the Trolls from the ravenous Bergens.  As they travel, Poppy sings happily to herself.  Branch, irritated: "Do you have to sing?"  Poppy, brightly: "I always sing when I'm in a good mood."  Branch: "Do you have to be in a good mood?"  Poppy: "Why wouldn't I be in a good mood?  By this time tomorrow, I'll be with all my friends!  Oh, I wonder what they're doing right now?"  Branch, darkly: "Probably being digested."  Poppy: "They're alive, Branch!  I know it!"  Branch: "You don't know anything, Poppy.  And I can't wait to see the look on your face when you realize the world isn't all cupcakes and rainbows.  'Cause it isn't.  Bad things happen, and there's nothing you can do about it!"  Poppy: "Hey, I know it's not all cupcakes and rainbows.  But I'd rather go through life thinking that it mostly is instead of being like you.  You don't sing.  You don't dance.  So gray all the time!"

Poppy has lost all hope, and her discouragement has spread to the other Trolls.  Once brightly-colored, the Trolls are now all gray.  Branch stares at Poppy as she kneels on the floor, sad and alone.  He approaches her, beginning to sing a gentle, caressing song: ♪ "You with the sad eyes, don't be discouraged." ♪ He kneels next to her, taking her chin in his hand and turning her face to look into his caring eyes: ♪ "Oh, I realize, it's hard to take courage.  In a world full of people you can lose sight of it all.  The darkness inside you can make you feel so small." ♪ He opens his arms for a hug, but she turns away.  Branch continues to encourage his friend: ♪ "Show me a smile, then.  Don't be unhappy.  Can't remember when I last saw you laughing.  This world makes you crazy, and you've taken all you can bear.  Just call me up 'cause I will always be there." ♪ Branch takes Poppy's hand and lifts her to her feet.  Her face lightens at her friend's encouragement.  And, as he continues to sing, her grayness disappears and her bright pink color begins to return: ♪ "I see your true colors shining through.  I see your true colors, that's why I love you." ♪ Poppy smiles, joining his song: ♪ "So don't be afraid to let them show.  Your true colors, true colors are beautiful." ♪ She puts her hand on Branch, and his colors begin to appear.  The two dance around the room, spreading color everywhere.  Soon, the grayness of every Troll has been replaced by vibrant color and hope.

The Bergens, believing the only road to happiness is to eat a Troll, have captured them all and prepared a banquet for King Gristle.  Poppy, the Queen of the Trolls, calls a halt to the feast, reminding King Gristle of the happiness he felt when he was with Bridget: "You were feeling something, weren't you?"  Gristle: "I just thought it was too much pizza."  Poppy: "That feeling?  That was happiness!"  Bergen #1, from his seat at the banquet table: "But you have to eat a Troll to be happy!  Don't you?"  Poppy reminds them all that the King has found joy without ever having eaten a Troll.  Chef, seeing that the other Bergens are beginning to be persuaded, pushes her way to the king and tries to force a Troll down his throat: "There's only one way to be happy!  My way!"  Poppy rescues the Troll from the king's unwilling mouth: "Happiness isn't something you put inside.  It's already there!  Sometimes you just need someone to help you find it."  The Bergens begin to pepper Poppy with questions.  "Can I really be happy?"  "What about me?"  "Do you really think I can be happy?"  Poppy, smiling at their hopeful faces: "Of course!  It's inside you!  It's inside all of us!"
