ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Dolittle

Dolittle holds Barry, a neurotic and bitter tiger, on his lap.  Dolittle hopes to distract Barry from his violent path by resuming their former counseling sessions.  Moaning, the large tiger whines about longing to make his mommy proud: "No one I eat will ever be good enough."  Suddenly, Barry bares his teeth at the doctor: "Unless I eat you!"  He leaps up, chasing Dolittle around the room in an attempt to devour him.  Barry, explaining his sudden decision: "Every mother wants their son to grow up and eat a doctor."  Dolittle: "You're a sick kitty."  To escape a painful death, Dolittle climbs up onto a ledge.  Seeing the sunlight streaming into the cell from a barred window, Dolittle takes out his gold pocket watch and uses it to catch the light.  He shines the beam down onto the ground, where it makes a small, glowing circle.  Barry is instantly distracted from his murderous intent.  Spotting the circle, he begins to follow it around the room, trying to pounce on it.  All the while, he talks to himself, apparently having forgotten all about Dolittle: "Where is it?  Oh, I lost it!  I've got to get it."  Dolittle, smiling to himself: "A cat is still a cat...easily distracted."

Dolittle is locked in a cage with Barry the tiger and is about to be eaten, when the fearful gorilla Chee-Chee risks his own life by breaking through the bars to face the beast, himself.

Dolittle and his boat of animals are about to be overtaken by the evil Dr. Mudfly.  With a plan in mind, Dolittle prepares to dive under the ship, telling Cheech that he will depend on him to pull him out of the water when the moment is right.  Cheech, a fearful gorilla, doesn't want the responsibility of the task: "Me? I can't handle that type of pressure, Doc."  Dolittle, comfortingly: "Don't worry, Cheech.  You'll rise to the occasion.  You're stronger than you know.  Now, remember, courage is not the absence of fear..."  Here, Dolittle puts on his enormous scuba helmet, finishing the second part of the proverb from behind thick glass.  His words are muffled and unintelligible.  Cheech, panicked that he missed the last bit of advice: "Wait!  I can't hear you!  I need the second part!"


The Dolittle house is thrown into confusion when a human dares to knock on the front door.  Lion cub: "Why are humans against the rules again?"  Jip the dog: "If you let humans too close, you'll get hurt more than you would if you didn't let them in at all."  Dr. Dolittle, whispering, hopes to ignore the intrusion of the knocker and continue on with his day.  Poly, however, wants to let the boy in: "You can't ignore people just because they're...people!  What if they need help?"  The knocking gets louder.  Looking terrified, Dolittle lays down on his back, feet and hands stiffly in the air: "Possum?  Play dead."  Scooching across the floor on his back, like he is on the battlefield and trying to avoid gunfire, Dolittle orders Cheech to get rid of the humans: "And don't forget your mantra."  Cheech: "I am not a prisoner of fear?"  Dolittle, backing out of the room on his hands and knees, apparently oblivious to irony: "You are not a prisoner of fear."


Dr. Dolittle plays chess with Chee-Chee the gorilla, using mice as the board pieces, while understanding and speaking with an entire room full of animals.

Both parties eventually reach the island of the Eden Tree, only to find it is guarded by the dragon Ginko-Who-Soars. Although it attacks the groups, it soon collapses from internal pain. Dolittle diagnoses and cures the dragon, causing Ginko to gratefully reward him access to the tree and its fruit.

Dr. Mudfly, nefarious and egotistical, has just declared himself a hero of history by planting a flag on the mythical Isle of Eden.  When the flagpole is thrust into the ground, glowing red lines begin to appear all over the cave and its inhabitants suddenly realize they are not alone.  An enormous dragon, previously thought to be a stalactite, unfurls itself and hurls its fiery breath toward Dr. Mudfly.  Dolittle, a man Mudfly considers his enemy, pushes Mudfly out of the way of the flames, thus saving his life.  Mudfly, hiding behind a rock, is astonished at Dolittle's selfless act: "He saved me!  I have a second chance to live a life of...of kindness and generosity!"  But all of Mudfly's resolutions to change disappear when the dragon again turns its gaze on him.  Mudfly grabs the nearest person, thrusting him between himself and the dragon: "Take him!  Not me!  You see, I'm a good person now!"  Mudfly gives the unfortunate man a push toward the beast.


The dragon has Dr. Dolittle in her clutches and is ready to destroy him.  Dolittle: "You won't be able to continue much longer considering…the pain you're in."  Dragon: "You know nothing of my pain!"  Dolittle looks to the corner of the cave, where a the skull of a dead dragon lies.  Dolittle, who lost his own wife: "But, I do.  I've felt it as well.  The kind that doesn't come from bullets or a blade, but cuts much deeper.  And, now, in every moment, in every movement, you feel that pain again.  It's hard to carry on when you've lost someone you love."  The dragon spits at him before putting him down, seeming to lose all heart for battle: "Just leave!"


Having healed the dragon, Dr. Dolittle's band of animals congratulate themselves on a job well done.  Yoshi: "Teamwork makes the dream work!"  Dragon, looking in amazement at the rag-tag miscellany of the animal kingdom.  She turns to Dolittle: "I've seen armies of every kind, but nothing like you.  What unites such a group of creatures?"  Dolittle: "Well, we may not look it, but somehow, we just belong together."  He looks over at his "family."  A duck sits on the head of a polar bear wearing a cap.  An ostrich leans over a boy with a squirrel on his head.  And a parrot with a bandaged wing sits on top of a gorilla.

Dr. Dolittle inadvertently lets slip to Stubbins that their plan involves stealing a journal from an island.  Stubbins, shocked: "Steal the journal?"  Dolittle: "Did I say that?  Well, what's the worst that can happen?"  Immediately, the wind picks up and blows out their lantern, ominous music filling the air.  Dolittle, lightly: "Don't worry.  I know an omen when I see one and that was not an omen."  Immediately after he finishes speaking, lightning strikes the mast of their ship, sending their boat reeling.  But Dolittle still tries to maintain his innocence, now having to yell over the noise of the ferocious wind: "Stealing the journal is not a big deal!"  Again, as soon as he finishes speaking, thunder crashes above them, as if in direct opposition to his statement.


At her palace, Dolittle finds Victoria being tended to by his lifelong rival, Dr. Blair Müdfly. Talking to a witness, an octopus, in the presence of Müdfly and Lord Thomas Badgley, a member of the House of Lords, he discovers that she was poisoned with nightshade and can only be cured with the magical fruit from the Eden Tree.

Dolittle has just set sail on an expedition to save the Queen. Although he takes along several animals for the journey, including Chee-Chee the gorilla, Yoshi the polar bear, and Poly, he refuses to take Tommy. Poly, refusing to let Tommy be left behind, sends Betsy the giraffe and Tutu the fox to collect him. Tommy manages to board the fleeting ship in a death-defying stunt!

Dolittle, with the help of all his animal friends, returns in time to cure Victoria!

Dr. Dolittle dives into the ocean, harnesses a friendly whale, who quickly pulls their ship away from enemies.

Tommy Stubbins, a young boy, accidentally wounds a red squirrel named Kevin while out with his hunter father. He finds himself led to Dolittle's home by his macaw Polynesia, who hopes his arrival will help Dolittle reconnect with humans. At the same time, Queen Victoria dispatches her maid of honor, Lady Rose, to seek Dolittle's help when she falls seriously ill. After treating Kevin, Dolittle agrees to see Victoria, after Poly reveals he will lose his home to the Treasury if the queen dies.

Marooned and shipless on an island of robbers and miscreants, Dr. Dolittle gathers the troops around for what everyone assumes will be a pep talk.  Poly: "That's the spirit, John!"  He smiles around at them and the animals wait with expectancy.  Yoshi: "This is gonna be good."  Dolittle, finally speaking: "We are finished."  The animals are shocked and horrified that their fearless leader is quitting.  Yoshi, confused: "Is this a pep talk?  'Cause it's a weird one."  Dolittle: "I can sniff defeat like a truffle pig."  Stubbins: "This can't be the end."  Dolittle: "Yep.  I smell it."  Stubbins: "We can still save the queen."  Dolittle: "Nope."  Stubbins: "We can still save your house."  Dolittle: "Uh uh."  Stubbins, hopefully inspirational: "I believe in you."  Dolittle laughs humorlessly: "The journal's gone.  We have no way to find the Eden tree.  And our boat is sunk."  Plimpton: "He makes a strong argument."
