ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Ravenna, dressed in her wedding finery, slowly walks toward the king, her husband-to-be.  Her eyes are drawn toward the watching nobles of the kingdom, and she sees that their gaze is held by something behind her.  The nobles are smiling, pleased, but she realizes their pleasure is not with her.  She turns slowly, still walking forward, and sees the object of their delight:  the king's young daughter, Snow White.  Snow White, fresh and innocent, looks around at her subjects.  When she feels the queen's eyes on her, she smiles.  The queen turns away, preoccupied by her jealousy.

The evil queen Ravenna is pacing back and forth before her magic mirror.  Determined to remain forever the most beautiful woman in the land, the queen uses the mirror to reassure herself that she is still the reigning beauty.  Somewhat fearfully, she asks the mirror: "Who is the fairest of them all?"  She paces tensely, waiting while the golden mirror melts into the form of a man.  The mirror speaks: "It is you, my queen.  Yet another kingdom falls to your glory.  Is there no end to your power and beauty?"  The queen gives no sign of her relief at the mirror's answer except for the tears that fill her beautiful eyes.

The evil queen Ravenna stares in despair at her golden mirror, disgusted by the lines and wrinkles of her aging face.  Ravenna's brother, Finn, also watches her reflection: "You look..."  Ravenna interrupts: "Old."  Finn, finishing his original thought: "Tired."  Finn tries to comfort his distraught sister and informs her that he has brought her a gift.  The queen turns, seeing a beautiful, young, and very frightened maiden standing in the room.  Ravenna's face softens at the sight of the beautiful girl.  The queen approaches the girl and, picking her up by the throat, opens her mouth wide as if to breathe in her very soul.  As the queen sucks the vitality from the girl, her beauty and youth disappear, leaving behind an old woman.  The queen drops the old woman to the floor.  A look of satisfaction comes over her face, and her lines, wrinkles, and age spots slowly disappear.

Finn has come to Snow White's cell to bring the princess back to the evil queen.  When he reveals to the girl that the queen plans on killing her, Snow White decides to make her escape.  Striking Finn's face with a nail, she runs out of the cell while he is distracted by his pain.  With shaking hands, she locks Finn in her prison, then rushes to make her way out of the tower.  Once outside, the guards quickly catch sight of the princess and she is soon surrounded.  Suddenly, two birds fly in front of her, chirping loudly to catch her attention.   They hover in front of the sewer, pointing out the way of escape.  Snow White dives into the hole, falling down into the fetid water.  Gagging from the stench, she makes her way to the end of the sewer, which is a sheer drop down to the ocean below.  White waves crash against jagged rocks, and Snow White steels her nerves for a moment before jumping into the raging water.

Snow White and the Huntsman are making their way through the Dark Forest when they come across a pile of bones and abandoned armor.  Alert to possible danger, the Huntsman unsheathes his knife, and the two walk slowly, eyeing their surroundings with trepidation.  Suddenly, an eye appears in what seemed to be a rocky knoll, and a gigantic troll emerges from the earth with a growl.  The Huntsman attempts to fight off the beast, telling Snow White to run, but he is no match for the terrifying creature.  The beast soon knocks him to the ground and stands over him, ready to finish him off.  Snow White rushes forward, screaming at the beast as loud as she can.  He turns, roaring at her so powerfully that she is knocked to the ground.  Powerless to do anything else, she stares into the eyes of the beast.  Suddenly, his roaring quiets, and she stands to her feet, moving slowly toward the creature.  As she moves closer, the beast bows his head, whining softly.  When she is within a couple of feet, the beast turns around and moves away.  (Caution: frightening images of beast)

Anna strokes her sleeping daughter's scarred face.  Anna, her own face marred by long, jagged scars, tells Snow White the reason why she and her entire village submitted themselves to the mutilation.  Anna: "Our scars protect us.  Without beauty, we are worthless to the Queen.  It's a sacrifice we made so we could raise our children in peace while their fathers are at war."  She looks at Snow White's still-beautiful face, knowing that she, too, will have her own burdens to bear: "And you, your sacrifice will come."

Snow White, the dwarves, and the Huntsman are walking through the forest when they come upon a clearing.  At the center of the clearing stands a majestic white stag, seemingly waiting for Snow White.  As the princess walks toward the creature, wild animals gather tamely at her feet and fairies watch excitedly from the trees.  The stag allows Snow White to stroke his muzzle, and then he kneels, bowing his head.  Muir realizes the significance of the action: "He's blessing her."  Huntsman: "What are you talking about?"  Muir: "You have eyes, Huntsman, but you do not see.  You, who have been with her the longest.  She is life itself.  She will heal the land.  She is the one.  Can't you feel it?  Are your ailments not gone?  Gold or no gold, where she leads, I will follow."

Snow White and her army are galloping toward the castle of the evil queen Ravenna, intent on reclaiming their land from her tyranny.  As balls of fire and arrows rain down on them from the castle, the soldiers continue without hesitation, moving forward as their comrades fall around them.  The dwarves, hidden inside the castle, are attempting to raise the gate to allow the army to enter.  Struggling with enemy soldiers and with the weight of the gate itself, the dwarves are finding it difficult to complete their task.  Coll looks down on the battle below: "It's a massacre down there!"  When Snow White and her remaining soldiers arrive at the gate, they find it still closed.  William shouts at Snow White: "We must turn back!"  Snow White, deflecting an arrow with her shield, screams: "No!  I gave them my word!"  Finally, the dwarves succeed in opening the gate and William gives the order to charge.  Spurring on her horse, Snow White enters the castle.  Inside, they face a large army of the queen's men.  Fighting valiantly, they proceed onward toward their goal of reaching the queen.  The queen looks coldly down on the battle raging below her tower, catching the fierce gaze of Snow White.  Snow White glares back at the queen, determined to defeat her, no matter the cost.
