ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. - Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Snow White

When a bowl of porridge lands on his head, the dwarves erupt into laughter, teasing Dopey as he wipes the mess away. Embarrassed, his face falls, and without a word, he rushes outside to be alone. Snow White follows, finding him hunched over in quiet frustration. Gently, she asks if fear keeps him from speaking. Dopey hesitates before nodding. With a warm smile, Snow White encourages him to start small by whistling. “Even when I’m afraid to speak, I whistle,” she tells him. “Because when you whistle, it’s your heart singing. And that voice, the one that's hidden in your heart, can be heard." Demonstrating a cheerful tune, she urges him to try. Dopey attempts it but blows too hard, producing only air. Undeterred, Snow White cheers him on, and after several tries, a clear, beautiful whistle emerges. His face lights up with joy. Together, they return to the cottage, where Dopey proudly demonstrates his new voice. The dwarves stare in surprise, then, inspired, begin trying to whistle themselves, their teasing forgotten in the excitement of discovery.


Snow White rushes to Doc with a wounded Jonathan, but some of the dwarves hesitate. Grumpy scoffs, “But they’re bandits!” His words ignite outrage among the forest men, who shout in protest. Within moments, the air is thick with insults and raised voices, the tension threatening to explode. Determined to stop the fight, Snow White steps between them, her voice cutting through the chaos. “This is exactly what the queen wants,” she declares. “Fighting each other. Distrusting each other. This is how she wins!  She's poisoned everyone into believing that it's everyone for themselves.  But, if we can give up our meager scraps, we will inherit what was meant for all of us.  It's more than any of us can imagine.  It just requires faith in each other." Her words settle over the group, and after a moment of contemplation, Doc nods. With quiet resolve, he steps forward and agrees to help Jonathan.

Furious, the queen stands before her magic mirror, demanding that it affirm her reign as the fairest in the land. But the mirror does not lie. Though her beauty is striking, it is only surface deep. “For Snow White, beauty comes from within. And so, my queen, at last you see—she will always be more fair than thee.” Just then, Snow White steps into the room, just in time to witness the queen’s wrath. With a cry of outrage, the queen hurls her scepter at the mirror, shattering its gleaming surface. As the shards fall, she begins to change, her body darkening until she is nothing but ashes, consumed by the same darkness that ruled her heart. In a final moment, the remnants of her being are drawn into the mirror, which seals itself, once again whole.

When a gnarled old woman appears at her door, claiming to bear a message from Jonathan, Snow White is immediately wary, distrust flickering in her eyes. Yet, when the woman presses a familiar locket into her palm, doubt begins to fade, overtaken by concern for Jonathan. Her worry blinds her to caution, and when the woman offers an apple, Snow White hesitates, uncertainty creeping back in. Sensing her reluctance, the stranger weaves a compelling tale, speaking of her past connection to Snow White’s father, insisting that she once cared for him. Overcome with emotion, Snow White accepts the apple, murmuring her thanks as she lifts it to her lips. The woman watches intently, anticipation gleaming in her gaze. The moment the bite touches her tongue, Snow White’s stomach turns—something is wrong. A wicked smile spreads across the old woman’s face, the disguise slipping away to reveal the evil queen. Her voice is cold as she confesses to murdering the king, vowing that Snow White will soon join him in the grave.


When the guard drags Jonathan before the queen, accusing him of theft,  the bandit initially denies it.  But his guilt is proven when the pilfered potatoes fall from his jacket.  The queen questions him and he admits to being the leader of the forest bandits.  The queen's punishment is swift and harsh: "Find his home and burn it to the ground."  When Jonathan tells her he has no home, she orders him sent to the dungeon instead: "Fill the castle with his cries."  Here, Snow White steps in: "I understand the need for justice, but please, this isn't fair.  The punishment must not exceed the crime."  Snow White begs the queen to show mercy.  Pretending to agree with her, the Queen instead orders Jonathan's coat and boots to be stolen from him as he stole from her: "And bind him to the gate to freeze."  Jonathan, not wishing to die: "Is the dungeon still an option?"


Snow White surveys the chaos in the dwarves’ cottage and resolves to help them set things right. Rather than treating the task as a burden, she encourages them to make it joyful, lifting her voice in song: ♪ “Whistle while you work, and cheerfully together we can tidy up the place. So hum a merry tune. It won’t take long when there’s a song to help you set the pace. And as you sweep the floor, what used to be a bore will feel just like a game and not the same old chore it was before.” ♪ Her melody is infectious, and soon the dwarves are laughing as they work, the drudgery transformed into play. With their spirits high and their hands busy, the mess disappears in no time, leaving the cottage spotless. To their amazement, what had seemed like an arduous chore became an unexpectedly fun adventure.


Snow White humbly requests an audience with the queen, hoping to gain permission to distribute pies to the peasants. The queen scoffs at the idea, dismissing it as naive, but Snow White remains steadfast—she only wishes to show her people kindness. With a cold smile, the queen lifts the locket from Snow White’s neck, reading aloud its inscription: “Fearless, fair, brave, true. How quaint. One day, you’ll understand how useless those words are.” She then produces a large, flawless diamond in one hand and a delicate rose in the other. With a flick of her magic, the rose wilts and crumbles to dust, while the diamond remains unchanged, solid and unyielding. Holding it up for Snow White to see, the queen declares, “One is weak, useless, fragile. The other—hard, everlasting, flawless, beautiful. My subjects don’t want a flower. They want a diamond.”


The queen thrusts a dagger into the hands of her guard, commanding him to strike Snow White down before the gathered crowd. As he steps forward, Snow White meets his gaze, her voice steady as she speaks his name—“Paul.” She reminds him of the man he once was, a farmer who tended his land with kindness, generous to those in need. Turning to another guard, she calls out, “Matthew,” recounting his days as a baker, when he ensured the poor never went hungry. One by one, she looks into the eyes of the queen’s soldiers. “I remember you,” she says, her voice ringing through the silence. She does not see them as weapons, but as men who once stood for something greater. Then, she turns to the crowd, urging them to recall the days of her father’s reign—the unity, the goodness, the hope. Her words ripple through the gathering, and one by one, the guards falter. Voices rise in agreement. And soon, every soldier turns their allegiance to Snow White, severing their ties to the queen, who now stands alone.

Fleeing for her life, Snow White races through the enchanted forest, its gnarled branches reaching for her like grasping hands. The wind howls, carrying eerie snarls and growls that seem to close in on her. An owl swoops down, talons bared, while bats whirl in chaotic swarms around her. Ahead, an enormous tree looms, its hollowed trunk forming a monstrous, gaping mouth. Just as it seems ready to seize her, she stumbles, falling through tangled bracken into a hidden hole. She plunges into a cold lake, and upon surfacing, pulls herself onto the shore—only to hear the snap of a twig in the shadows. She freezes, staring into the darkness where a pair of red eyes gleam. The creature moves closer as fear roots Snow White in place. But as it emerges, she finds only a doe, gazing at her with gentle, knowing eyes. Snow White strokes its soft fur, and suddenly, fireflies flicker to life, illuminating the night. A sunbeam pierces through the thinning clouds, revealing that the menacing forest has transformed. She is no longer surrounded by darkness, but by a paradise bursting with flowers and peaceful creatures. Rabbits nuzzle at her feet, a bird alights on her finger, and as she takes in the breathtaking sight, she realizes the nightmare has passed—replaced by wonder.
