ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Gidget, disguised as a cat, sneaks into a cat-infested apartment to steal back her ball -- aided by her laser-catching ability!


Max, worried, can't sleep.  He decides to check on Liam, who is sleeping peacefully.  Max sighs and starts to trot back to bed.  A bird chirps.  Max stops in his tracks: "What's that?"  An owl hoots.  Max turns in the other direction with a startled gasp.  A crow caws.  Max whimpers.  A frog croaks, an elk honks, and a cricket chirps.  Max's imagination is running wild.  A turkey gobbles, a squirrel chews, and a cow passes gas.  Max screams in absolute terror.  The sounds stop.  Max begins to relax when, suddenly, a fox jumps out of the bushes and snaps at him.  Max cowers, begging for his life.  Just then, Rooster attacks the fox and chases him away.  Max nervously chuckles at the big farm dog: "I couldn't see him because of the cone." (Max is wearing a medical cone around his neck.)  Rooster, bluntly: "Then get rid of the cone."  Max: "I would, but my therapist says I need it.  Yeah, it's a medical device."  Rooster unceremoniously tears the cone off Max's neck: "There.  You're cured."  He walks away.  Max: "Not a fan of the farm."

Rooster, looking at Liam playing in his playpen: "Hey, what's that kid doin' in the cage?  Something wrong with him?  He got the fever?"  Max: "That's Liam.  He likes to run."  Rooster: "So let him run."  Max: "Well, Liam's super fast.  We blink and he's up a tree."  Rooster: "So then your kid's up a tree.  What's the problem?"  Max: "Well, he could fall."  Rooster: "He might."  Max: "And then he hurts himself."  Rooster: "Oh, so he got really high up in this hypothetical tree?  Kid gets hurt, he learns not to do it again.  You know how many electric cords I've chewed?"  Max: "Like, multiple cords?"  Rooster: "One.  It shocked me.  Walked backward for a week, but I never chewed a cord again."  Max: "That is great for you, but I like to protect Liam...from everything."  Rooster, chuckling: "Well, that's you.  And you're wrong."


Chloe puts a sock on Gidget's tail and pink kitty ears on her head, pronouncing her "cat" disguise complete.  Gidget, thinking she knows everything there is to know about feline behavior: "So easy."  Chloe stops her: "You gotta learn how to act like a cat.  I'm gonna throw some situations at you, and you're gonna react like a cat."  Gidget, wagging her sock tail: "Gotcha!"  Chloe suddenly tosses a ball: "Fetch."  Two other dogs excitedly leap toward the ball, but when Gidget goes too, Chloe puts out a retraining paw: "Stay.  Cats don't care about fetching!  Fetching is for dopes."  Chloe puts a delicate nose in the air: "You're above that.  Because you are a cat."  Gidget copies her self-satisfied look.  Next, Chloe takes the three dogs to the top of a tall bookshelf.  Without warning, she pushes the first two dogs off.  They fall, screaming.  Chloe, explaining to Gidget: "You see, dogs land like the clumsy oafs they are.  Cats land on their feet."  She shoves Gidget, who manages to land delicately on her feet.  Next, Chloe takes the dogs to the litter box, ordering them to use it.  Disgusted, they refuse.  All except Mel, who exits the box munching on something.  Next, Chloe orders Gidget to eat Sweetpea, the pet bird.  Gidget and Sweetpea look at each other in horror.  Chloe: "Cats eat birds.  It's nature."  Buddy, whispering to Chloe: "You're seriously gonna make her eat Sweetpea?"  Chloe: "No, of course not.  I'm just freaking her out."  Chloe stops speaking with a gasp.  Gidget, her mouth full of feathers: "Okay, what's next?"  Chloe, horrified: "Bad cat dog!"  Gidget spits out the bird.  To end the training, Chloe has Gidget do a grand finale...to treat a pretend owner with disdain and irritation.  Chloe, admiring Gidget's performance: "Gidget, you're as close to a cat as a dog can get."


Chloe has just ingested catnip and begins acting very straaaaaange. Gidget, frantic for help finding a missing toy, is forced to wait until the ‘crazy’ wears off.

Max and his friends fight the evil Sergei.


Max, narrating: "Everything changes.  Nothing stays the same for long.  The minute you're used to something, the minute you think, 'Oh, this is how life is,' life finds a way of surprising you."  Snowball's owner removes the superhero costume that he loved and replaces it with a princess costume.  Snowball looks in the mirror in shock: "What is going on?"  His shock gives way to glee as he realizes he can enjoy something different: "This is awesome!"  Max, as he and Liam leave their apartment: "You never know what life is going to throw at you.  And you have two choices...run from it, or run at it."  Max and Liam approach Max's new preschool: "It's a big day.  And, from this point on, nothing is gonna be the same.  But I'm gonna be brave.  And I'm gonna help Liam be brave."  Max trots up to a scared-looking Liam and licks his face.  Liam's nervousness disappears and he laughs.  He enters his new class, full of excitement.  Duke looks down at Max: "Are you okay?"  Max, confidently:  "Yeah, I'm good."  Behind the two dogs, Liam's parents are sobbing, not ready for their little boy to be grown up.


Katie takes Max to the veterinarian after developing an “itch.” While in the waiting room, a creepy cat gives the attending doctor rave reviews, “…he specializes in behavioral disorders.” Disturbingly, Max meets each of the troubled pets who are waiting.

Katie and Liam are taking the dogs for a walk down a busy New York street.  Max, nervously watching the toddler as he explores the sidewalk: "I got to say, keeping Liam safe is a full-time job."  Liam spots a piece of chewed bubble gum stuck to a lamppost and makes a grab for it.  Horrified, Max quickly intervenes, licking Liam until he forgets about the gum and gently nudging him to keep walking.  Next, Liam walks down the middle of a flock of pigeons.  Max, following him closely, tries not to spook the birds: "We don't want any trouble."  Liam passes through the pigeons and keeps walking.  Suddenly, danger seems everywhere to Max.  Steam erupts from a grate on the sidewalk, a fire truck speeds by, and a skateboarder nearly collides with them.  Max feeling overwhelmed by the need to protect Liam: "Was the world always this dangerous?"  Later, Liam is in bed when lightning strikes outside the apartment building, making Max start.  He looks over at Liam, who is sleeping peacefully.  Max, finally able to rest from his role as protector, curls up against him and sighs.


Max and Rooster have gone on a mission to find and rescue Cotton, a missing lamb.  Hearing his bleating, they come to the edge of a steep cliff.  Several yards below, an apple tree is growing out of the side of the cliff.  Cotton sits on a spindly branch, happily eating apples, blissfully unaware of the danger of his situation.  Rooster tells Max he will have to be the one to go down and rescue Cotton: "That tree can't support my weight."  Max nervously looks over the edge of the cliff.  The ground is far, far below.  Max, stuttering: "I can't do that.  It's too high and I'm too afraid."  Rooster: "Max, here's the trick...the first step of not being afraid is acting like you're not afraid.  So, are you scared?"  Max, his teeth chattering and his tail trembling: "No."  Rooster, more forcefully: "Are you scared?"  Max suddenly jumps up, a determined look on his face: "No!  No, I'm not!"  Taking a deep breath, Max begins to pick his way down the steep, rocky cliff.  He is still fearful, but he is determined to conquer his fear.  He gingerly makes his way along the spindly tree.  It begins to break, coming out of the cliff by the roots.  But Max doesn't give up.  He inches toward Cotton and grabs him by the tail, pushing him up the cliff.  As Rooster pulls both Cotton and Max to safety.


Rooster, an experienced farm dog, expertly guides the cattle back toward their pen.  With little more than a hard stare and a bark, he commands even the bulls, who obey him with respect.  Duke and Max watch the proceedings from the sidelines.  Duke is awestruck: "So cool!"  Max: "It's not that big a deal."  Now Rooster is running atop the backs of the cows, ordering them to move faster.  Within seconds, the cows are in their pen.  Cool and completely in control, Rooster walks away.  Duke and Max spot a huge pig that has escaped from her pen.  She begins munching on a box of turnips.  Duke: "We better get Rooster!"  Max: "No need for that.  I can handle it."  Max, chin in the air proudly, trots over to the pig.  Max, completely lacking Rooster's air of authority: "Hey, Mister.  Back inside.  C'mon."  The pig ignores him, continuing to munch turnips.  Next, Max tries to push her inside the pen, but she is so large he can't make her budge.  Frustrated, Max gets in her face: "Don't you ignore me!"  The pig does just that.  Finally, Max climbs on her back and starts hopping up and down.  She just chews.  Duke, offering friendly advice: "Rooster nips at the cows to get 'em to move."  Max, shrugging, bites down hard on the pig's tail.  She screams, flinging Max across the yard.  He hits the fence of the sheep pen, knocking down a board.  The sheep begin to file out to join the pig.


Captain Snowball fights an evil circus monkey to save Daisy.


Snowball secretly raps while his owner is away.


Captain Snowball enlists Gidget and a Cat Lady for backup.
