ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Moonrise Kingdom

The Khaki Scouts eventually track Sam down in the woods, but he refuses to surrender. The troop confronts Sam and Suzy, and the standoff quickly spirals into chaos. In the scuffle, Suzy lashes out with her lefty scissors, injuring the Scouts’ self‑appointed leader, Redford. Sadly, a stray arrow loosed by one of the boys strikes Camp Ivanhoe’s dog, Snoopy, killing him. (Caution: profanity)

At Moonrise Kingdom, Sam and Suzy open up to each other with rare honesty—talking about bed‑wetting, being an orphan, their hopes for the future, and the dreams they’re not afraid to say out loud. As their bond deepens into something tender, they say they love each other, dance on the beach and share their first kiss.

Sam and Suzy trek to Mile 3.25 Tidal Inlet, a secluded patch of shoreline they christen Moonrise Kingdom. There, they revel in the freedom of their hideaway—pitching an elaborate campsite, making art, and even piercing Suzy’s ears with improvised, painfully homemade earrings.

As a violent hurricane and sudden flash flood batter the island, Suzy’s parents, Captain Sharp, Social Services, and the Fort Lebanon Scouts—now under Scoutmaster Ward—gather in the church to decide what to do about the missing runaways. Social Services arrives determined to take custody of Sam, only to be met with confusion and incompetence at every turn. Unbeknownst to the adults below, Sam and Suzy are hiding in the balcony. When the storm knocks out the power for a moment, they slip away and climb up into the church steeple.

Scout Master Ward is doing his morning camp rounds, inspecting the scouts as they work at their various tasks.  He approaches Skotak, who has built a tree house at the extreme top of a tall pine.  Mildly reprimanding the boy, he observes that a fall from the house would guarantee death.  Moving on, he sees Nickelby holding a flaming torch in one hand and lighter fluid in the other.  When the boy tells Ward he is working on "pest control," the scout master approaches for an inspection.  Completely ignoring the flammable materials the child is holding, Ward instead performs a uniform inspection, berating Nickelby for his sloppy clothing.  Ward moves on, leaving the boy to continue with his work.  He next sees two boys who have been assigned to make homemade fireworks for an upcoming celebration.  Holding his cigarette away from the large rockets, Ward instructs the boys to get more gunpowder from the armory shed.  Spotting a young boy speeding on a motorcycle, Ward leaves the fireworks booth to chastise him for going too fast, threatening to take away the keys if he speeds again.

Sam, although only twelve, is an experienced Khaki Scout, capable of living for an extended time in the wilderness.  He and Suzy are running away together, and Sam has a detailed plan ready to share with her.  He pulls a map out of his pack, explaining that he does cartography.  He outlines their schedule, explaining the plan, and hands her a piece of jerky to sustain her for the upcoming journey.  As they hike through the forest, Sam shares tidbits of advice with Suzy, an inexperienced hiker.  Asking if she's thirsty, he informs her that sucking on pebbles can give the illusion of alleviating thirst.  Later, leaves sticking out of the bottom of his coon-skin cap, he tells her that leaves can keep a head cool.  Suzy, genuinely: "That's a good idea.  It might also help if you didn't wear a fur hat."  Sam nods.  Later, Sam rigs a pulley system over a large stream, using it to carry their luggage safely over the water.  Next, he throws a handful of pine needles in the air to check the direction of the wind.  The needles fall straight down in a great lump and Sam decides wind direction isn't important as long as they cover their tracks.

Sam discovers that Suzy has been stealing library books to relieve her depression.  In a moment of vulnerability, the girl tells Sam that the reason she is struggling emotionally is because of a book she found belonging to her parents.  She shows him the book, which is entitled: "Coping With the Very Troubled Child."  Sam, his eyes wide: "Does that mean you?"  Suzy, her face impassive: "I think so."  Before he can stop himself, Sam begins laughing.  Suzy, hurt and angry, retreats to the tent.  After a few moments, Sam enters the tent, apologizing immediately and sincerely.  Sam: "I'm sorry.  I'm on your side."

Walt and Laura Bishop arrive at the dock in time to see a boy being carried away on a stretcher.  They confront Scout Master Ward and Captain Sharp, worried that something has happened to their missing daughter.  (Suzy has run away with a scout named Sam.)  Walt stops the captain as he begins to accompany the hurt boy off the island: "You're not leaving this island!  My daughter has been abducted by one of these beige lunatics."  Ward and Sharp attempt to calm the worried parents, but Walt is not to be appeased.  He shouts at Ward: "Why can't you control your scouts?"  Ward, stammering: "I'm trying."  Walt, giving vent to his anger, takes off his shoe and throws it at Ward, hitting him in the torso.  Sharp intervenes, agreeing that Ward is somewhat to blame for the situation: "But I also blame myself and both of you.  With all due respect, you can't let your children stab people."  He gestures toward the wounded boy stabbed by Suzy.  Laura, furious to have the finger of blame pointed back at her, descends on the police officer, assaulting him verbally.  Her husband follows, pushing Captain Sharp.  The argument turns into a shoving match as the four adults exchange blows.

Skotak confronts his fellow Khaki Scouts, who are seated around the table in their tree house.  Skotak, quietly: "This troop has been very shabby to Field Mate Sam Shakusky."  Raising his voice for effect, Skotak continues: "In fact, we've been a bunch of mean jerks!"  Skotak joins his friends at the table, looking each of them in the eye in turn: "Why is he so unpopular?  I admit, supposedly, he's emotionally disturbed, but he's also a disadvantaged orphan.  How would you feel?  Nickelby?  Deluca?  Lazy-Eye?  Gadge?  He's a fellow Khaki Scout and he needs our help.  Are we man enough to give that?"  After a brief conference, the other scouts agree to help the boy they had previously ostracized.

Suzy and Sam, twelve-year-old runaways, have asked Ben to help them get married.  Ben, a scout troop leader, has the authority to perform marriages and agrees to help the two kids.  Ben: "I can't offer you a legally binding union.  It won't hold up in the state, the county, or, frankly, any courtroom in the world, due to your age, lack of a license, and failure to get parental consent.  But the ritual does carry a very important moral weight within yourselves.  You can't enter into this lightly.  Look into my eyes.  Do you love each other?"  Suzy, chomping on a piece of gum, answers immediately: "Yes, we do."  Ben isn't certain she grasps the permanence of the marital vows: "But think about what I'm saying.  Are you sure you're ready for this?"  The youths nod.  Ben, feeling their answers are too pat, too quick, too emotionless, wants to be sure they understand the enormity of the decision they are about to make.  Wishing to create an atmosphere of solemnity, he makes the children spit their gum out.  Ben: "This is the most important decision you've made in your lives.  Go over by that trampoline and talk it through before you give me another quick answer."  Suzy and Sam comply, discussing their decision quietly while a boy bounces on the trampoline behind them.  After a few moments, they return to Ben, sure of their decision.  Ben: "Okay, let's do a blood test."

Commander Pierce addresses the scouts assembled at his camp, announcing his plan to evacuate in the face of the oncoming storm.  Reminded of his medicine, he rushes back into his tent.  The scouts watch in terror as flood waters from a broken dam burst through the gates of the camp, knocking a large tree onto Pierce's tent.  Boxes of fireworks inside the tent explode, setting the canvas on fire.  Scout leader Ward immediately takes action.  Cautioning the scouts to stay where they are, he leaps over the torrent of rushing water and enters the burning tent.  The sound of fireworks exploding inside the tent can be heard as Ward disappears into the smoke.  Seconds later, he emerges from the tent, the unconscious Pierce draped over his shoulders.  Bearing his heavy burden, Ward leaps back over the rushing water just in time to evade a large fireball bursting from the tent.
