ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.

- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming a movie scene in my service?"__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

A pastor is marrying Ethan and Julia on a beautiful, remote island.  The three people stand alone in the middle of green hills as the pastor reads the vows.  "Do you, Ethan, take Julia to be your lawful wedded wife?"  Ethan, smiling: "I do."  Pastor: "To have, to hold, to love, cherish, honor, and protect?"  Ethan, staring lovingly at his bride: "I do."  Pastor, foretelling Ethan's future marital failures: "To shield from terrors known and unknown?  To lie, to deceive, to live a double life?  To fail to prevent her abduction, erase her identity, force her into hiding?"  Ethan, looking confused, looks at Julia.  She is staring at him adoringly, as if she doesn't hear all the bad things coming in her future marriage.  Pastor, continuing: "Take away all she has known in a selfish, futile attempt to escape your own true self?"  Ethan, to the pastor: "Please, stop."  Pastor, ignoring him: "And, Julia, do you choose to accept?"  Ethan, looking horrified, begs Julia not to agree to the vows.  But Julia seems lost in her own world of bliss: "I do."

Ethan and his team have been sent to recover a case of stolen plutonium.  They are meeting with the black market dealer when, suddenly, the Apostles fire on them, killing the dealer and his men.  Benji and Ethan grab the case and hide behind a building.  A member of the Apostles radios Ethan: "You're boxed in, Hunt."  Ethan: "What do you want?"  Apostle: "Give us the plutonium and walk away."  Benji tosses the case of plutonium to Ethan, who is standing next to his car.  Apostle, via radio: "Give us the plutonium and we won't kill your friend."  Ethan peeks around the corner, seeing a shadowy figure holding Luther at gunpoint.  Luther: "Don't you do it, Ethan!  Not for me!"  Ethan looks back at his car and the case of plutonium.  He knows he must make a decision...escape now with the case and fulfill his mission, saving countless lives, or save his friend and risk the mission.  Ethan looks down the street, seeing that the way of escape is clear.  He thinks for a few more moments before making his choice.  Quickly, he turns around the corner and shoots both his friend and the attacker (knowing Luther is wearing a bullet-proof vest).  Benji rushes to join the fight, and soon the two men have chased away all of the bad guys.  They look around at the empty tunnel, amazed they are alive.  Luther: "Where's the plutonium?"  The men rush back to their car.  The plutonium is gone.

Ethan and Walker are in a plane, ready to skydive down to their mission.  Ethan, a veteran skydiver, gives Walker some very important instructions for his dive, telling him not to veer from them even a little.  Ethan walks to the open hatch of the plane.  Looking down, he sees a bad thunderstorm blanketing the sky below.  Knowing it would be too dangerous to dive in the storm, Ethan begins to tell Walker they need to reformulate their plan.  Walker, however, ignores him: "Out of my way, Hunt.  Enough talk."  Walker jumps out of the plane.  Ethan quickly dives after him, knowing Walker could be killed.  He calls Walker through their headset communicator.  Walker, smugly: "What's the matter, Hunt?  Afraid of a little lightning?"  Just then, a bolt of lightning strikes Walker, rendering him unconscious.  He begins to freefall toward the ground.

Ethan is speeding along through the streets of Paris, trying to escape the French authorities.  He races his motorcycle around the busy metropolis, temporarily eluding the two officers who follow him.  However, he turns a corner and sees an entire roadblock of police vehicles waiting for him.  He turns at the last second, cutting through a parking garage and causing several cars to crash.  With the motorcycle officers again in pursuit, Ethan daringly rides straight into traffic, swerving to avoid oncoming vehicles.  He runs a red light.  A large delivery truck narrowly misses him, coming between him and the officers.  But Ethan isn't alone for long.  He turns a corner and now six different vehicles are following him.  Ethan comes to an intersection of multiple streets.  He pauses, looking around in each direction.  Every street but one is filled with police cars.  Ethan heads down his only available option.  Racing down the street, Ethan turns around to look at his pursuers.  In the moment he turns, he enters an intersection filled with cars.  A car strikes his motorcycle, sending Ethan flying.

Ethan is running through London, in pursuit of Walker, who is some distance ahead of him.  Benji, watching the two men via a computerized tracking system, is directing Ethan where to go to find his quarry.  At the moment, Ethan is on the roof of St. Paul's Cathedral.  Benji tells him to turn left.  Ethan leaps onto the next rooftop to his left.  Somewhere far ahead, Walker, who doesn't know he's being followed, is walking toward his destination.  Benji: "Ethan, he's getting away from you.  You're gonna have to go faster."  Ethan, who was already running, speeds up to a sprint.  He leaps another rooftop, this time barely making his landing.  With some effort, he pulls himself safely onto the roof and continues sprinting.  Benji, looking at his screen: "You're gaining on him!  Go straight."  Ethan, who is now in the middle of an office building, looks around at the sea of cubicles: "Straight?"  He runs among the surprised office personnel.  Benji: "Okay, now turn right."  Ethan, confused, looks to his right, seeing a wall of windows leading to a straight drop: "Now?  Are you sure?"  Benji, turning his screen upside-down: "Yes, I'm...no, it's left.  Turn left.  Sorry, I had the screen lock on."  Ethan looks to his left, seeing a wall of windows leading to another rooftop.  In full view of the stunned workers, Ethan grabs a chair and uses it to break the window.  He leaps out and resumes his chase.  Benji: "Come on, Ethan!  Get him!  You're right on top of him!"  Ethan, grimacing with the strain, sprints toward a building.  Walker enters just ahead of him and climbs into an old elevator.  Ethan runs into the building and leaps toward the moving elevator, grabbing a hold of the bottom.  Ethan, dangling, looks up, surprised to see Walker looking down at him, hands on hips.

Ethan and his IMF team are working frantically to deactivate the two nuclear bombs that Lane has armed.  While Luther and Benji each work on rewiring the bombs, Ethan must recover the activation key that will allow the bombs to be disarmed.  Unfortunately for Ethan, he must scale a sheer cliff face to reach the key.  Ethan, outside radio contact, cannot update Luther and Benji on his progress.  Luther sends him a message, just in case: "Ethan, if you can hear me, we're ready to make the cut."  (If Luther and Benji cut the wires before the key has been removed, the bombs will explode.)  Ilsa, looking frightened, turns to Benji: "Benji, how do we know if he's got the key?"  Luther, firmly: "He'll get it."  Benji, also worried: "Yeah, but how do we know?"  Luther, confidently: "He'll get it done!"  Meanwhile, Ethan continues to climb the cliff.  The timer on the detonator registers fifteen seconds and counting.  Luther: "We're out of time.  We just have to hope he has it."  Luther and Benji agree to cut their wires with one second remaining on the timer.  With no idea whether or not Ethan succeeded with his mission, the two men cut their wires.  The bombs disarm and the members of the IMF team all breathe a sigh of relief.  Luther, knowing his confidence in Ethan was well-placed: "My man."
