ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Gru and his Minions ignore the line, sneak into the theater, and release a stink bomb inside.  When the people flee the theater, leaving it empty but foul, Gru dons a gas mask and watches the movie for free, laughing uproariously at the shark attacks.  Later, he and the Minions go to an arcade where they cheat at every game.  While Gru plays pinball, the Minions use a magnet to make the ball go where they want.  While Gru shoots baskets, the Minions stand on top, making sure every ball drops right into the hoop.  When Gru plays the claw game, a Minion goes inside it and grabs armfuls of stuffed animals.  Their next destination is the ice cream shop.  Gru scowls at the long line of customers before loading his cheese ray and covering all of them with canned cheese.  He approaches the counter where a fearful customer hands over four ice cream cones.  Gru laughs evilly.  Their final stop is the gym.  Gru and his Minions stand in front of the big window, licking their cones dramatically and gushing about the delicious treat.  The patrons on the stationary bikes stare in drooling desire as Gru taunts them deliberately.

Seeing three Minions being beaten up outside her shop, Master Chow goes outside to stop it.  She looks at the three muscle-bound thugs who are making mincemeat of the Minions: "Hey!  You like picking on little guys, huh?"  The thugs continue to maul their victims, laughing at her interference: "Go take a nap, old lady!"  Before he knows what hits him, Master Chow deftly kicks one of the henchmen to the ground: "Old lady?  I am a master of the ancient Shaolin art of kung fu!"  The three thugs launch themselves at the diminutive woman, but she makes quick work of them.  Her small size is no sign of weakness, with her kung fu skills she is a force to be reckoned with.  Soon, all three thugs have retreated and the Minions are safe.


Wild Knuckles is on a quest to find the Zodiac stone, a powerful necklace hidden deep in a remote lair.  Wild Knuckles peers at an old map, deciphering the clue needed to open the secret lair.  Once inside, he faces several deadly booby-traps.  First, the staircase he climbs down suddenly shifts into a slide, sending him careening towards a bed of spikes.  He manages somehow to avoid impaling himself and spots his treasure displayed on a pedestal.  But, as soon as he reaches for it, small golden goblins pour out of the walls and attack him.  With much effort, he is able to overcome them and at last grasps the treasure he has come for.  The platform he is standing on begins to rise towards the roof.  Wild Knuckles thinks that his trials are over until the platform stops and he is surrounded by hundreds of the goblins.  With nowhere to run, Wild Knuckles climbs two bamboo flag poles, using them as stilts to try to escape the vicious hoard below.  But they cut away his stilts in seconds and he is left hanging from a vine-covered wall.  He climbs the vines, the goblins close behind him, and radios for his escape helicopter.  Wild Knuckles grabs a hold of the rope they dangle down to him just before the goblin wave reaches him. 


Master Chow has brought Kevin, Stuart, and Bob to the forest to train them in kung fu.  Master Chow: "Many fighters have asked me, 'how did I become a great master?'"  From the heights of tall evergreen trees, she seemingly effortlessly leaps from branch to branch, landing gracefully on the ground.  Master Chow: "Even the smallest of us are capable of great things."  She tells the Minions to dig down deep and find their inner beast.  She demonstrates, roaring so loudly that flames surround her and the force of her breath knocks down Stuart and Bob.  Master Chow: "Now, you try."  Kevin yells underwhelmingly, Stuart blows a raspberry, and Bob growls like a kitten.  Master Chow sighs.  Next, she takes a running leap at Stuart, telling him to stop the blow.  Stuart freezes and the blow lands on his face.  He is thrown backwards through several trees.  Master Chow: "We have a lot more work to do."  She spends the next several days training the Minions to be kung fu fighters.  The practice their kicks with a martial arts dummy, although Bob just wants to give it a hug.  They practice their stamina by doing pushups over hot coals, until Stuart bellows the flames for roasting marshmallows, and they practice balance by standing on one foot on top of a pier, until Stuart is dragged off by a sea lion.  Finally, Master Chow proclaims them ready for their junior achievement badges.  They rush off, falsely believing themselves to be kung fu masters.


Master Chow places four blocks of wood onto two bricks, instructing the Minions: "Doubt tells me I cannot break this wood.  But doubt exists only in the mind.  You know what I say to my mind?"  With a yell, Master Chow hits the boards with her head, breaking them all in half in one thrust.  She looks at Kevin, Stuart and Bob: "Now, you."  Kevin approaches his own board.  He repeatedly hits it with his head until he is semi-conscious on the floor.  The board doesn't break.  Stuart, shaking his head, steps up for his shot.  With a yell, he grabs Kevin off the floor and hits the board repeatedly with Kevin's head.  The board still doesn't break.  Kevin stomps off in anger and their session is over.

Kevin and Stuart, desiring a free ride to San Francisco, are masquerading as pilots.  They sit in the cockpit of a large jetliner, trying to determine how to fly the plane.  Kevin thinks they should follow the instructions in the pilot's manual, and so he is reading aloud from it, telling Stuart which buttons he should push.  Stuart, however, prefers to just wing it.  He blows off Kevin's instructions and begins pushing buttons at random while humming the "Blue Danube."  As he pushes buttons, things begin to happen on the plane.  First, all of the emergency oxygen masks fall out of the overhead compartments.  Then, the landing gear extends to the height of a building, making the plane look as if it is on stilts.  It then retracts.  As Stuart carelessly pushes buttons, the plane begins to move across the airfield.  Unfortunately, they are not following a runway, and so narrowly miss hitting several other planes that are just taking off.  Kevin tries to stop Stuart, but he doesn't care.  Kevin, seeing they are about to ram into the control tower, yanks back hard on the wheel.  Flying straight up, they somehow make it to cruising altitude.  All too soon, the flight is over and Kevin lands the plane as gracefully as he took off.  The G-force makes the passengers start to float in the cabin.  At last, as the final strains of the "Blue Danube" play, the plane comes to a safe halt and the passengers cheer in relief.  (Caution: Minion bottom shown)
