ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

As the storm rages over the mountain summit, Henry urgently calls for Ryan and Donn to take cover, but Donn, fueled by anger at his brother, races ahead, ignoring Henry's pleas to stay together. Henry’s shouts—“Wait! Stop!”—are swallowed by the relentless wind and rain as Donn disappears into the mist. The downpour quickly obscures his surroundings, and before he realizes it, he is lost. Panic grips him as he cries out for his father and brother, but the thunder drowns his voice, making his desperate calls futile. Soaked to the bone and unable to find the trail, Donn’s voice cracks as he yells into the storm, “Dad! I can't find the trail! Dad!”

Ruth and Donald are meeting with the man in charge of the search for their missing son.  He doesn't seem to be holding out much hope for the boy's survival: "All we know is that it got below freezing last night and the winds were blowing 40 miles an hour."  Ruth: "Do you think...do you think our son is dead?"  The man denies believing the worst, but his actions disprove his claims.  He has instructed his men to focus their search in an area where they would most likely find a body.  "There's 100,000 acres of wilderness out there."  But the parents cannot give up hope.  Donald believes his boy is fighting to survive: "I always told him, remember three things if you ever get lost out there.  First, don't lose your head.  Second, follow a stream because a stream always leads to a river.  And a river always leads somewhere.  And, third, when things get tough, press on.  Press on."  While his father speaks, we see young Donn, lost in that 100,000 acres, but pressing on.


Excitement buzzes between twins Ryan and Donn as they prepare for their upcoming fishing trip, but their playful energy quickly turns sour. A careless exchange of words spirals into a heated quarrel—Donn calls Ryan a baby, and Ryan retaliates by calling Donn an idiot. Fueled by frustration, Donn escalates the fight, jabbing Ryan with a stick. Ryan shouts for him to stop, but the insults keep flying, and the tension rises. Their father intervenes, ordering them outside to wash the car, hoping to cool their tempers. Instead, the argument follows them outdoors, each twin blaming the other for the unwanted chore. Their voices rise, resentment building until Donn snaps, tackling Ryan to the ground. The scuffle intensifies as Donn strikes his brother, their once-lighthearted day unraveling into chaos.

After 9 days alone in the wilderness, Donn is near death.  He lies down on the forest floor, dreaming of his family.  Suddenly, his eyes startle open and he sees his father lying on the ground beside him.  His father smiles at him tenderly: "Come home, son.  Come home."  The whispered vision is enough to inspire Donn to struggle back to his feet.  His body nearly worn out, the boy uses the last ounces of strength he possess to follow the vision of his father.  The vision moves ahead of him through the forest, whispering: "Come home, son."  Donn follows, limping slowly, until the vision disappears.  Donn falls to his knees before a lake.  A woman is washing clothes in the water on the opposite bank.  Donn crawls on his hands and knees towards her, crying out for help.  She runs to get her husband, who carries Donn to safety.


Donald calls Ruth to update her on the search for their missing son, but he doesn't have good news.  It's been almost four days and they still haven't found any sign of the boy.  Tired and desperate, he tells her that what they really need is the impossible.  They need a plane and an army of volunteers.  Ruth hangs up the phone and tells her son to get the phone book.  Together, they call every business, rescue service, and newspaper they can think of.  Ruth asks for any help they can give: "Whatever you can do.  As many as you can send."  The next day, a stunned Donald arrives back at base camp to see that hundreds of people have showed up to serve in whatever way they can: "All hands on deck!"  Amazed, he looks at the red cross van, the lines of tents, the women serving breakfast, and the men getting ready to head into the wilderness...all there for his son.


Alone in the darkness, Donn murmurs to himself, grasping at childhood memories for comfort. He recalls the nights when he and his twin brother would curl up beside their father, listening to the warmth of his voice as he read them bedtime stories. The tales were magical, but what Donn cherished most was the steady presence of his father—the reassuring weight of his strong arm around him, making the world feel safe and full of love. As they grew older, however, their father became consumed by work, and the stories stopped. The laughter faded, the moments of comfort disappeared, and with them, a piece of Donn’s heart was quietly lost. Now, surrounded by emptiness, he grieves the absence of those cherished nights and aches for the simple, irreplaceable feeling of his father’s arm around him once more.


After days lost in the wilderness, Donn is starving and desperate. Standing knee-deep in the river, he struggles to catch a fish, but without a rod or tackle, his efforts feel futile. First, he lunges at the slippery creatures with his bare hands, only to watch them dart away, his frustration mounting. He then tries to spear one with a sharpened stick, but the water distorts his aim, leaving him empty-handed. In a final burst of desperation, he swings a large rock down, hoping to crush a fish against the riverbed—another failure. Anguish overtakes him, and he screams into the empty expanse before collapsing onto the riverbank, exhausted. As he prays aloud, he hears the birds chatter and imagines God responding, amused, “For a God, I kinda figured you'd sound bigger, but thank You.” Just then, the splash of a leaping fish jolts him to his senses, sparking an idea. Springing back into the water, he removes his shirt, using it as a makeshift net. Within moments, he traps a fish, his triumphant yell echoing through the trees.

Helpless in a hospital bed with his son still lost in the wilderness, Donald has nothing but time to reflect. He remembers the way his boys had lit up when he returned from his last business trip, their excitement so pure, so full of love. “They wanted to jump into my arms. I should have let them,” he thinks, the weight of regret pressing down on him. He had always been tough on them—especially Donn—not out of cruelty but out of a belief that they needed to be strong to withstand the harshness of the world. But now, with the possibility that he may never see Donn again, that belief feels painfully misguided. “I forgot to be his dad,” he admits, the truth cutting deep. Donald prays for one more chance—not to teach his son to be strong, but to remind him that he is loved.  (Caution: d-word)
