ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Noa, Anaya and Soona are trying to get eagle eggs before tomorrow's bonding ceremony.  Only Noa has yet to find one.  But, the only remaining nest they haven't checked is the highest nest in their land.  To get to it, Noa will have to make an incredibly tough climb.  Soona, looking over the edge of the precipice, worries for her friend: "Find another way."  But Noa is determined.  He doesn't want to be the only young ape not bonded to an eaglet in this year's ceremony.  If he misses this, he will have to wait another year.  Thinking fast, he leaps grabs an iron bar and leaps across the chasm to the cliff on the other side.  Mid-air, he jams the bar into the cliff to give himself a foothold.  Then, using the bar, he climbs to the top of the cliff.  Reaching the nest, he leans in to grab one of the four eggs.  Just then, the mother returns and dives for his head.  Noa falls, an egg grasped in his hand.  He slides off the cliff and his friends fear the worst.  As they anxiously look over, they see Noah, dangling from an outcropping and grinning widely.

Noa and Raka are seated by their campfire when they hear a sound from the bushes.  Raka spots a young woman cowering there.  He tosses her a few apples.  He points to himself: "Raka."  He introduces Noa in a similar manner.  The woman quickly scurries out of the brush, never taking her eyes off the two apes.  She grabs the apples and scoots backwards, devouring them.  Raka: "She follows because she is hungry."  Noa looks mildly disgusted.  Raka notices the girl shivering and pulls a cloak from Noa's bag.  Noa snatches it back.  It had belonged to his mother, thought to be dead: "This is...important."  Raka gestures to the girl: "They get cold.  Show mercy."  He holds out a hand toward the cloak.  Reluctantly, Noa gives it to him, seeing that the girl is indeed very cold. 


Noa awakens his friends Anaya and Soona.  Signing, he tells them he needs their help.  Soona, also signing: "What help?"  Noa: "A climb.  One I cannot do alone."  Soona: "Why?"  Noa: "To free our clan."  (The Eagle Clan has been taken captive by the evil Proximus.)  Soona quickly agrees to help, but Anaya turns his head away sadly.  Anaya, signing: "Anaya scared."  He returns to his bed, quietly crying.  Understanding his fear, Noa puts a hand on his shoulder comfortingly.  He and Soona hurry away to meet Mae.  As the three prepare to climb the wall, they hear a sound.  An ape is coming towards them from the shadows.  It is Anaya.  Anaya: "You cannot make hard climb...without Anaya."  He smiles.  His friends embrace him for his courage.


Sylva is hunting for Mae among the herd of people.  Suddenly, he spots her about to run into a field of tall grass.  Mae, knowing these apes to be killers, runs for her life.  She crawls through the blades, hiding herself from the apes that surround her.  Finally, she sees she has nowhere to go.  Suddenly, Mae hears Noa calling for Raka.  Noa is astride his horse.  Mae doesn't know if he is friend or foe, but he is the only ape who might help her.  Desperate, Mae stands, screaming: "Noa!"  Noa sees the apes are about to take her.  Mae runs to meet him as Noa gallops towards her.  He reaches out an arm and grabs her just before Sylva can.  Aided by Raka, the two gallop off to safety.


Kevin Durand

The Eagle Clan is under attack from the apes that follow Proximus.  While their village burns, Noa goes to see if he can help his father release the eagles.  While the two work to save their beloved birds, Sylva enters the room and orders Koro to bow in submission.  When Koro refuses, Sylva attacks him, striking him with his electric rod.  Noa is quick to jump in to defend his father, but Sylva is bigger and more ruthless.  Father and son continue to fight valiantly, but, soon, Koro is beaten badly and Noa dangles from a rope over the flaming village.  Mercilessly, Sylva burns the rope with his electric rod, sending Noa plunging towards the ground.  All goes black.  (Caution: violence)


While the distraught Eagle Clan watches, Proximus attacks Noa for daring to defy him.  The ape lies on the ground, bleeding and weak.  Proximus leans over him: "You are going to stand so that you can bend before your king before you die."  Proximus addresses the rest of the apes: "You will all bear witness as Noa bends before his king!"  The frightened apes cower in fear.  Proximus orders Noa to stand up.  Noa does stand, but, instead of bowing, he begins to grunt the eagle's chant.  In response to his courage, the other apes join his chant.  Proximus, angrily: "Enough!"  But, they continue to chant, calling their eagles to come to their aid.  Soon, the eagles begin diving at Proximus, tearing at him with their beaks and claws.  They drive him towards the cliff.  The apes chant louder and louder until, finally, Proximus is driven over the edge.  He falls into the sea to his doom.  (Caution: violence)


Noa has heard the name "Caesar" mentioned, but he has no idea who that is.  Raka: "Your clan does not know the true Caesar.  Too many have forgotten who he was."  Noa doesn't think he needs to know anything about Caesar…his life is ordered by the rules of his village.  Noa: "I know the Elders of my village.  They made the law.  That is everything."  Raka laughs: "That is not everything.  Long before your elders, it was Caesar who taught us what it means to be ape.  He was our leader, our lawgiver.  Apes together strong.  Ape shall not kill ape.  We, the order of Caesar, follow his words to this day."


Mae has flooded the bunker and the apes have been swept into the rushing waters.  Noa fights his way to a platform the waters have not yet reached.  From there, he rescues his mother before the torrent can cover her completely.  His friends instinctively turn to him for guidance: "Noa, what do we do?"  Noa, yelling: "This way!  Go!"  Noa begins to lead his friends in the direction of the exit.  Seeing the rest of his apes floundering, he cries out to them: "Eagle Clan!  Climb!"  His friends Anaya and Soona help him guide the other apes towards safety.  Noa leads the way, turning back occasionally to encourage the others to follow.


William H. Macy

Mae has returned to the home of the Eagle Clan.  Noa goes to speak with her, still angered at the way she almost destroyed his apes.  Mae claims she has come to say goodbye, but she trusts Noa and the apes as little as they trust her.  She hides a gun beneath the folds of her cloak, ready to kill.  Noa scowls at her: "Humans will never give up.  Not until you claim all things for yourselves."  Mae, raising her voice: "It was ours! It was not meant for apes!"  Noa, bitterly: "What is for apes?  Should we go back to silence?  We will rebuild our home!  Better.  Stronger."  He turns away in disgust.  He doesn't know that Mae is clutching a gun.  Suddenly, he remembers Raka and his belief that apes and humans could live together in harmony.  Noa: "Was he right?  Can ape and human live together?"  Mae: "I don't know."  Noa takes off the pendant that Raka gave him, holding it out to Mae.  It is a promise, a symbol of hope for unity.  Noa, simply: "Important."  Mae, her gun put away, takes the pendant in both hands and nods her agreement.
