ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

Colonel Hathi runs his herd of elephants like a brigade of soldiers.  Every morning, they march their rounds.  The Colonel lines up the elephants, preparing to give them their daily inspection.  Winifred, the Colonel's wife, grumbles to the elephant next to her: "March, march, march.  My feet are killing me."  The elephant responds in a whisper: "I'm putting in for a transfer to another herd."  The Colonel quickly silences them and proceeds with the inspection.  He walks around the elephants, ordering them to stand up straight.   Winifred's bottom still sags and he smacks it with a bamboo stick: "Pull it in, Winifred."   She immediately lifts her tired rear.  The elephants stand with their trunks raised as the Colonel makes his way down the line.  He chastises the elephants for dusty muzzles, dirty tusks, and unkempt hair.  He lectures the elephants on discipline, telling them it builds character.

Baloo is teaching Mowgli how to survive in the jungle.  Baloo's perspective is to relax and enjoy life and not worry about what can't be changed.  He slides into the water to float on his back and Mowgli joins him.  He points out a bee, busily buzzing around the flowers: "If you act like that bee...uh-uh.  You're working too hard.  And don't spend your time lookin' around for something you want that can't be found."  Baloo begins singing...     ♪ "When you find out you can live without it and go along not thinking about it.  I'll tell you something true...the bare necessities of life will come to you..."  ♪  Mowgli and Baloo sing together: ♪ "Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities.  Forget about your worries and your strife.  I mean the bare necessities, that's why a bear can rest at ease with just the bare necessities of life!" ♪

Bagheera is trying to convince Baloo that the best thing for Mowgli is to be with his own people.  Bagheera: "The man-cub must go back to the man village.  The jungle is not the place for him."  Baloo doesn't see any problem with letting the boy stay in the jungle.  Baloo assures Bagheera that he will take good care of Mowgli.  Bagheera reminds Baloo of the trouble he's already had in taking care of the boy.  He is concerned for the boy's safety.  He reminds Baloo that Shere Khan, the tiger, is trying to kill Mowgli.  Baloo: "What'll we do?"  Bagheera: "We'll do what's best for the boy."  Baloo: "You name it, and I'll do it."  Bagheera: "Good.  Then make Mowgli go to the man village."  Baloo: "I promised him he could stay here in the jungle with me!"  Bagheera: "As long as he remains with you, he's in danger."  Baloo, sniffling: "I love that kid.  I love him like he was my own cub."  Bagheera: "Then think of what's best for Mowgli and not yourself."

Kaa the snake lifts the unsuspecting Mowgli into his tree.  He tries to hypnotize Mowgli with his special stare, but Mowgli resists, having experienced the stare in the past.  Kaa, feigning hurt: "You don't trust me."  Mowgli: "No."  Kaa: "Then there's nothing I can do to help."  Mowgli, disbelieving: "You want to help me?"  Kaa knows Mowgli's greatest desire: "I can see to it that you never have to leave this jungle."  Mowgli, interested: "How could you do that?"  Kaa (intending to eat Mowgli): "Oh, I have my own subtle little ways.  But first, you must trust me."  Mowgli, walking away: "I don't trust anyone anymore."   Kaa: "I don't blame you.  I'm not like those so-called fair weather friends of yours.  You can believe in me."  Kaa succeeds in hypnotizing Mowgli with his eyes, and soon the boy is fast asleep.

Four vultures are sitting despondently on a tree in a murky swamp.  One of the vultures yawns loudly, shaking out his feathers.  He nudges the bored vulture next to him: "Hey, Flaps.  What we gonna do?"  Flaps: "I don't know.  What do you wanna do?"  A third vulture throws out a suggestion, but it's quickly shot down.  Original vulture: "Okay.  So, what we gonna do?"  Flaps shrugs: "I don't know.  What do you wanna do?"  Original vulture, annoyed: "Look, Flaps.  First I say, 'What we gonna do?'  Then you say, 'I don't know, what you wanna do?'  Then I say, 'What we gonna do?'  You say, 'What you wanna do?'  What we gonna do, what you want...let's do something!"  Flaps: "Okay.  What do you wanna do?"

Four vultures watch Mowgli as he walks sadly by himself.  One of the vultures runs after Mowgli: "What's wrong?  You know, you look like you haven't got a friend in the world."  Mowgli, shaking his head sadly: "I haven't."  The other vultures join Mowgli.  Vulture: "Haven't you got a mother or a father?"  Mowgli: "No.  Nobody wants me around."  Vulture: "Yeah.  We know how you feel."  The vultures have experienced rejection too.  The vultures offer to make Mowgli an honorary vulture, but he tells them he would rather be alone.  Vulture: "Look, kid, everybody's gotta have friends."  The vultures then sing a song about the value of friendship.  Vultures, singing: ♪ "When you're alone, who comes around to pluck you up, when you are down?  And when you're outside looking in, who's there to open the door?  That's what friends are for..." ♪

Baloo has just saved Mowgli from the evil Shere Khan.  He lies on the ground, motionless, having suffered serious wounds from the vicious tiger.  Mowgli tries unsuccessfully to wake the bear up as the vultures sadly watch.  Bagheera tries to comfort Mowgli: "Mowgli, try to understand.  You've got to be brave, like Baloo was."  A tear courses down Mowgli's cheek as he realizes his friend is saying that Baloo is dead.  Bagheera: "Now, now.  I know how you feel.  But you must remember, Mowgli, 'Greater love hath no one than he who lays his life down for his friend.'  When great deeds are remembered in this jungle, one name will stand above all others:  our friend, Baloo the bear.  The memory of Baloo's sacrifice and bravery will forever be engraved on our saddened hearts."  The two don't notice that Baloo has regained consciousness and is thoroughly enjoying hearing his own epitaph.

Mowgli is walking in the jungle with Baloo and Bagheera.  Suddenly, they hear singing.  Mowgli rushes over to take a look and sees a girl carrying a jug to the river.  Mowgli (who's never seen a girl before): "Look!  What's that?"  Baloo: "Forget about those.  They ain't nothing but trouble."  Mowgli, however, feels compelled to take a closer look.  He climbs a tree and sits out on a branch to watch the girl draw water from the river.  The girl sees Mowgli's reflection in the river and she bats her eyelashes at him enticingly.  Mowgli's nose twitches and he's completely under her spell.  Suddenly, the branch he's leaning on breaks, and Mowgli falls in the water.  Embarrassed, he rushes off to hide in the bushes.  The girl continues her song, knowing the entranced Mowgli is still watching.  She sings of her future husband and Baloo looks disgusted.  The girl begins walking back toward her house with the water.  Mowgli follows her, open-mouthed.  The girl turns and, seeing Mowgli, pretends to accidentally drop her water jug.  Mowgli picks up the jug, filling it with water.  He reaches it out toward the girl, but she just stands where she is, batting her eyes at him.  She turns to walk home, looking coyly over her shoulder at Mowgli.  He gets the hint and follows her, carrying the water himself.  He turns back uncertainly to look at his friends.  He looks back and forth between the jungle and the town.  The girl looks back at him, batting her eyes.  Mowgli's nose twitches and a look of drugged contentment comes over his face.  He turns and shrugs at his friends apologetically, then follows the girl home.
