ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

As Riley meets Val, her hockey hero, new emotions begin to flood her brain.  The first to introduce herself is Anxiety.  She brings a ton of baggage and prepares for a long stay.  Next is envy, whose eyes grow big at the sight of Val's hair.  With Envy touching the console, Riley unthinkingly reaches a hand out to touch the red streak in Val's hair.  Quickly, Embarrassment steps in, smashing a large hand down on the console.  Riley's cheeks turn red as she realizes her social solecism.  Finally, when Val invites Riley to join her and the rest of the hockey team, the third new emotion appears.  Anxiety: "Oh, this is exciting!  But we can't let her know we're excited."  A lever on the console toggles and Riley instantly assumes an attitude of disinterest: "Sure.  Sounds good."  Anger: "What emotion was that?"  From a nearby couch, a lazy voice answers: "Ennui.  It's what you would call the boredom."  Ennui droops on the couch, staring at a phone, too cool for the other emotions.


Maya Hawke

Joy and the other emotions are trying to navigate their way back to headquarters when they arrive at a deep chasm.  Fear: "What is that?"  Nearby worker: "It's a Sar-chasm!  It can open for miles!  Run for your lives!"  Needing to find a way around the chasm, Joy yells across it at a pair of workers: "Boy are we so lucky we ran into you guys!"  But Sar-chasm changes the inflection of her words to sound sarcastic: "Boy, are we sooooo LUCKY we ran into YOU guys!"  The workers look at them in surprise.  Fear: "Please, we really need your help!"  Sar-chasm: "Please, we REALLY need YOUR help."  Everything they say is twisted by the new tone into something mean and nasty.  The workers drive away, disgusted: "Wow.  Those guys are jerks."  Anger, watching them leave: "Wow.  Those guys are jerks."


Riley has been sent to the penalty box after hurting Grace.  No matter how hard she's tried, the game feels like a failure.  Her heartbeat increases until it pounds in her chest.  Her toes tap compulsively and she runs her fingers nervously through her hair.  Sweat beads on her forehead as she repeats to herself: "I'm not good enough."  Riley is having a panic attack.  Inside her mind, Anxiety is working furiously at the controls.  Even Envy can see it's overkill: "Anxiety, you're putting too much pressure on her."  The others try to stop Anxiety, but she seems to be trapped herself in a cycle of her own making.  Grace skates by the penalty box and stops as she sees that Riley appears to be severely distressed.  Anxiety spins so quickly she creates a whirlwind of negative thoughts and emotions.  Joy is finally able to push her way into the whirlwind, but when she tries to grab Anxiety, she finds she is moving so fast her hands just go through her.  Joy: "Anxiety, stop!  You don't get to choose who Riley is.  Anxiety...you need to let her go."  Finally, Anxiety is able to pull her hand from the lever.  Joy grabs her and drags her out of the whirlwind.  Once Anxiety is free, the others are able to replace Riley's Sense of Self.  Once stabilized, they hear Riley's voice: "I'm a good person."  Joy smiles.


Amy Poehler

Joy and the others have been awoken by the sound of a buzzer from the console.  They stare bleary-eyed at a large, red light labelled "Puberty."  It beeps quietly at first, but suddenly is blaring a siren all over headquarters.  The emotions frantically try to shut it down, pushing buttons all over the console, but nothing stops the flashing alarm.  Anger: "It's the apocalypse!"  Finally, a desperate Joy rips the buzzer off the console and ejects it into outer darkness: "Problem solved."  Before Joy is done speaking, a huge wrecking ball crashes through the window.  A large army of workmen appear, yelling: "It's demo day!"  The workmen begin blowing up everything in sight.  Nothing is sacred as they tear it all apart.  Even the console is modified.  Just as Riley wakes up, the workmen take a lunch break, leaving the control room in a shambles.  The emotions watch in horrified anticipation to see how Riley will react to all the destruction this mysterious "puberty" has caused.  Her mom enters her room: "Riley! You aren't packed yet?"  Riley screams in frustration: "Ugh!  You're always on me!  Can't you just lay off for like one second?!?"  Her mother's eyes widen in shock.  Anger takes his finger off the button: "I barely touched it."  Each emotion takes their turn at the console, but all discover the same thing.  Riley's emotions are over-sensitive and out of whack.  "Those morons broke the console!"  Inside Riley's mom's mind, we see her emotions resigning themselves for a long ride: "We all knew this day would come."  And, when Riley stomps out of the room in a blaze of fury: "Well, that's a preview of the next ten years."


Now that Joy has removed the fake Sense of Self that she forced into being, Riley begins to grow her own.  This new, unmanipulated Sense of Self has all of Riley's attributes, both positive and negative.  "I'm selfish.  I'm kind.  I'm not good enough.  I'm a good person.  I need to fit in, but I want to be myself.  I'm brave, but I get scared."  As these various thoughts begin to spin, Joy bends down and hugs Riley's Self.  All the other emotions join in, embracing Riley's mind until she calms down.  Her breathing slows, and she begins remembering who she is.  Grace and Bree enter the penalty box and ask Riley if she's okay.  Riley apologizes: "I was such a jerk to you guys.  I'm so sorry.  If you don't want to be friends anymore, I get it.  But...I really hope that you can forgive me...someday."  Smiling, Grace and Bree embrace their friend.


The hockey match is almost over and the score is tied.  Riley's thoughts are racing.  She is debating what move she can make to win the game.  Her first thoughts involve a one-man show, with Riley herself starring.  But, then she realizes that Grace hasn't had a chance to score yet.  She calls a play that allows multiple players to participate.  Then, for the final shot, Riley passes the puck to Grace.  Grace shoots and scores and the team wins.


Kensington Tallman

The emotions are lost in the recesses of Riley's mind and Disgust is ready to give up.  Joy, ever positive, is sure they can make their way back to headquarters if they could just see the way.  Spotting an electric lift, Joy thinks she's got the answer.  While the others bicker about their slim chances, Joy pushes buttons and levers.  Nothing works.  Joy tries to stay positive: "Everything's fine."  But the negativity of the others soon drags her down to their level.  Joy finally explodes: "Do you know how hard it is to stay positive all the time when all you folks do is complain, complain, complain?  Do you think I have all the answers?  Of course I don't!"  Joy sits down and puts her head in her hands, ready to quit.  The others are shocked to see Joy so despondent.  Anger gently approaches her: "Joy, you've made a lot of mistakes.  And, you'll make a whole lot more in the future.  But, if you let that stop you, we might as well lie down and give up now."  He reaches out a hand and helps her to stand.  Then, he takes his own advice.  Anger grabs a powerful suction hose away from some workers and tells everyone to hop on.  When he flicks the toggle, the force of the air lifts the hose and allows them to reach the top of the stacks.


Joy and the other emotions are looking out at Riley's "Personality Islands," the parts of her brain that help determine her personality.  Goofball Island, Friendship Island, and Family Island are all part of the system that is Riley.  Joy, narrating: "We realized her islands aren't the only things made by memories.  Way down, at the root level, these memories were also creating beliefs."  To illustrate this, we see a series of clips of Riley where memories and experiences create thought patterns that themselves create beliefs hardwired into her brain.  At first, the beliefs are superficial, like which band is the best ever.  But the beliefs also go deeper.  One day, Riley is sitting in class when she sees another girl flub her class presentation by spilling everything on the floor.  The girl is obviously embarrassed.  But, because Riley's belief system has been developing in her the desire to be a good friend, Riley risks her own reputation to go to the front of the class and help the girl.  As she kneels, she introduces herself with a smile.  Another girl also joins in to help.  The three become best friends.  Joy and the emotions are amazed to discover that this important choice has created a beautiful flower inside Riley's mind.  Joy: "Turns out when you put all of those beliefs together, they make the most wonderful thing of all...her sense of self.  It's what helps Riley make good choices."


Riley is trying desperately to fit in to what she considers to be the cool crowd.  Riley, walking a few steps behind the group, thinking: "Okay.  First big hang with the group.  We just gotta act casual."  Suddenly, she notices that her arms swing when she walks.  In her mind, this quirk is keeping her from coolness: "Try to keep them still!"  She begins to walk with her arms stiff at her side.  Then, noticing that Dani swings her arms rhythmically when she walks, Riley tries to copy her.  But, she just ends up looking strange.  Embarrassed, she stuffs her hands in her pockets.  Ironically, no one except Riley notices or cares about her arm swing.  Riley tries again to blend in with the group.  Seeing them all laugh, Riley joins in.  But her faked laughter only makes the others turn to look at her.  Now that she has finally earned their notice, Riley is humiliated.


The emotions have discovered a tent in Riley's mind that is emitting an orange glow.  Suspicious, Joy follows a worker inside.  Row after row of cubicles house workers scribbling furiously.  A large screen displays Anxiety, giving instructions to the team: "We need to help Riley prepare.  Now is the time to send up every possible thing that could go wrong."  Rows of screens display images of scenarios of Riley failing.  The images come from the workers, who quickly draw every bad outcome they can think of.  Anxiety approves each: "Riley misses an open goal.  Coach writes about it in her notebook.  Yes!  More like that."  Disgust: "Oh no.  They're using Riley's imagination against her!"  In Riley's bedroom, we see the girl tossing and turning in her bed, tortured by her own imagination.  Anxiety continues to put new images on the screens: "Bree and Grace's team win and we look stupid.  Val passes to us, and we miss it."  Joy, whispering to the other emotions: "We can't let her do this to Riley!  We have to shut this down.  Quickly, the emotions find an empty cubicle and begin to send scenarios of their own to the screens.  These scenarios are all positive, portraying Riley succeeding and making new friends.  When Anxiety sees these optimistic outcomes popping up around her, she suspects a mole and alerts the mind police.  Joy stands to address the workers: "Don't listen to Anxiety!  She's using these horrible projections to change Riley."  Joy encourages the workers to change their projections to uplift Riley.  Anxiety tries to keep them focused on the worst, but Joy's assurance is contagious.  Soon, positive thoughts take over and Riley sighs contentedly, finally able to sleep.


Joy has developed a system to keep Riley's bad memories from affecting her.  She shows the other emotions how she picks out any memory that has a negative element and catapults it to the outer darkness of Riley's mind: "A one-way expressway to, 'We're not gonna think about that right now.'"  Joy believes that in doing so, she is protecting Riley from bad feelings: "We keep the best and toss the rest."
