ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

In a hidden temple, Indy's father lies bleeding out on the floor after being shot by Nazi sympathizer, Donovan - forcing Indy to solve three challenges and retrieve the holy grail - the only way to save his father. To solve the challenges, he must use clues found in his father's journal. Challenge #1: "Only the penitent man will pass." If only the penitent man will pass, the penitent man is humble before God, as Indy keels at the last second and avoids two giant spinning razor blades that emerge from the walls. Challenge #2: The Word of God. The journal notes that "only in the footsteps of God" will it be possible to proceed. He realizes he must only step on the letters on the floor that spell out the name of God, which is Jehovah - but in Latin. Challenge #3: The leap of faith. The final challenge forces Indy to step out in empty air over a giant chasm, completely by faith, which he does - as there was a hidden bridge there the whole time.

As Indy tries to save Elsa from falling into a great chasm, she reaches for the Holy Grail instead of his hand - and falls into the pit.  Indy then finds himself in the same situation where he must choose between grabbing his father's hands - or reaching for the Grail.  He opts for his father's hands.

While exploring some caves with his scout troop, Indiana Jones and his friend Herman separate from the group despite orders to stick together.  Investigating a noise, the boys discover a band of greedy treasure hunters.  Unearthing a small chest, the excited men watch as their leader slowly opens it, revealing a golden cross.  Herman, as Indiana ignores him: "Indy...Indy?  What are they doing?  Indiana?  Indiana?"  Indiana, finally unable to ignore his friend any longer: "Shhh!  It's the Cross of Coronado.  Cortez gave it to him in 1520.  That cross is an important artifact.  It belongs in a museum.  Run back and find the others.  Tell Mr. Havelock that there are men looting in the caves.  Have him bring the sheriff."  As Indiana gives his instructions, a small snake slowly slithers across Herman's lap, paralyzing him with fear.  Indiana, calmly tossing away the snake: "It's only a snake.  Did you hear what I said?"  Herman: "Right.  Run back.  Mr. Havelock.  The sheriff.  Wh-what are you gonna do?"  Indiana: "I don't know.  I'll think of something."  With the looters distracted searching for more treasure, Indiana quietly grabs the cross and begins to attempt an escape.  Unfortunately, a snapping piece of wood alerts the looters to his presence.  Realizing that he has taken the cross, the men pursue Indiana as he flees from the cave.

The young Indiana Jones, believing that such a precious artifact belongs in a museum, has just stolen the Cross of Coronado from some treasure hunters (see previous Scene).  Attempting to escape, Indiana has jumped from a galloping horse onto a moving circus train.  Unwilling to give up on retrieving the golden cross, his pursuers board as well, following him into the reptile car.  Indiana crawls quickly over a narrow catwalk, hungry crocodiles snapping their jaws beneath him.  As one of his pursuers attempts to grab his leg, Indiana kicks free and nearly tumbles into a bin full of snakes.  Suddenly, one end of the catwalk comes loose and Indiana tumbles head over heals, stopping right in front of a giant python.  Terrified, he flings himself sideways off of the broken catwalk and into a bin full of writhing snakes.  Screaming, Indiana exits the car, trying to rid himself of all of the slithering creatures.  Climbing onto the roof of the next railway car, he is tripped by one of his pursuers.  His fall causes a lamp inside of the car to break, agitating a rhinoceros.  With the angry beast repeatedly thrusting his giant horn through the roof of the railway car, Indiana wrestles with his assailant.  Narrowly avoiding impalement, he escapes one pursuer only to find himself on a different railway car backing away from the leader of the gang.  Leader: "There's no way out of this."  The roof suddenly breaks open, and Indiana crashes down into the car.  The occupant of the car, a roaring lion, sends Indiana scrambling to his feet.  Grabbing a nearby whip, he attempts to ward off the ferocious beast.  Out of options, Indiana tosses one end of the whip up to his pursuers allowing them to pull him up and out of reach of the lion.  Leader, eyeing the cross in Indiana's belt, three of his men beside him: "You got heart kid, but that belongs to me."  Indiana, defiantly: "It belongs to Coronado!"  Leader: "Coronado's dead and so are all of his grandchildren."  Indiana, stubbornly: "This should be in a museum."  As two of the men try to grab the cross from Indiana, a loose snake slithers out of his sleeve, startling the men and giving Indiana a chance to escape.

Having successfully stolen the Cross of Coronado from a band of looters (see Scenes CV05479, CV05480), Indiana Jones has returned home and tries desperately to get his father's attention.  Indiana, frantic, bursting into his father's study: "Dad!  Dad!  Dad!"  Father, displeased by his son's interruption: "Out."  Indiana: "It's important."  Father: "Then wait.  Count to twenty."  Indiana, arguing: "No, Dad!  You listen to me."  Father, yelling: "Junior!"  Realizing the only way his dad will listen is if he complies with his demands, Indiana begins counting to twenty.  Father, calmly interrupting his son: "In Greek."  Starting over, Indiana begins counting in Greek.  Before he can finish and tell his Father about the cross, the sheriff arrives.

As Indiana Jones unsuccessfully attempts to tell his father about the Cross of Coronado, which is now in his possession, a bugle blast announces the arrival of Indiana's fellow scout, Herman, previously sent in search of the sheriff (see Scenes CV05479, CV05481).  Herman, after Indiana pulls the bugle out of his mouth: "I brought the sheriff."  Indiana, as the sheriff enters the door: "Just the man I want to see.  Now, there were five or six of them..."  Sheriff, interrupting: "It's alright, son.  You still got it?"  Indiana, holding up the golden cross: "Well, yes, sir.  It's right here."  Sheriff, taking the cross: "I'm glad to see that because the rightful owner of this cross won't press charges if you give it back." While the looters enter the house, "He's got witnesses, five or six of them."  Receiving the cross from the sheriff, the leader of the group hands it to one of his men who runs outside.  Watching through a window, Indiana sees the lackey give the cross to a man in a white suit in exchange for a package.  Sheriff, leaving: "Good day."  Leader of the gang, placing his hat on Indiana's head: "You lost today, kid, but it doesn't mean you have to like it."

Twenty six years since he first laid hands on the Cross of Coronado (see Scenes CV05479-CV05482), Indiana Jones has finally reacquired the priceless treasure.  Aboard a boat sailing in the middle of a storm, Indiana is confronted by the man in the white suit.  White Suit: "Small world, Dr. Jones."  Indiana, being restrained by two henchmen: "Too small for two of us."  White Suit, taking back the cross: "This is the second time I've had to reclaim my property from you."  Indiana, yelling: "That belongs in a museum!"  White Suit, yelling: "So do you!"  Shouting orders to his men, "Throw him over the side!"  As waves crash over the sides of the ship and the rain continues its deluge, Indiana's guards prepare to throw him overboard.  Before they can, Indiana kicks one man into the water, freeing himself from the grip of the other two men.  After a brief struggle, Indiana is able to pursue the man in the white suit.  Pulling him off from some steps, Indiana grabs the cross once more.  Elated over recovering the treasure, he is oblivious to the incoming swing of a henchman until it is too late.  As the blow lands squarely on Indiana's jaw, the cross flies out of his hand and slides dangerously close to the edge of the flooded deck.  After fighting off two more men, Indiana lunges for the cross, grasping it just before it is washed into the sea.  As waves continue to flood the boat, Indiana climbs on top of a stack of crates marked: EXPLOSIVES.  Grabbing hold of a crane, Indiana heroically swings over the side of the ship and into the water.  He is just in time.  The storm sends a chunk of metal crashing into the crates causing the entire ship to explode into flames.

Fleeing for their lives, Indiana Jones and Dr. Elsa Schneider are aboard a speed boat being pursued by armed assailants.  Grappling with one of their pursuers, Indiana looks up in time to see they are nearing two large ships.  Indiana, yelling: "Are you crazy!?  Don't go between them!"  Elsa, yelling, having misheard Indiana: "Go between them?  Are you crazy!?"  As Indiana continues his struggle, Elsa steers their boat in between the two ships.  Indiana, throwing his attacker into the water and climbing up to the front of the boat: "I said go around!"  Elsa, letting Indiana take over steering: "You said go between them!"  Indiana, frantically as the two large ships come closer together: "I said don't go between them!"  Making it through the gap just in time, Indiana and Elsa survive while a boat in pursuit explodes into flames.

Kazim has been trying to kill Indiana Jones.  As the two men struggle, the speed boat they are grappling on slowly drifts toward the giant propeller of a nearby ship.  Indiana, gripping his foe by the front of the shirt as the back of the boat is chewed up: "Why are you trying to kill us?!"  Kazim: "Because you're looking for the Holy Grail."  Indiana, furious: "My father was looking for the Holy Grail.  Did you kill him too?"  Kazim: "No."  Indiana, as the two men are pulled closer to the propeller: "Where is he?!  Talk or you're dead!  D--- it!  Tell me!  Tell me!"  Kazim: "If you don't let go, Dr. Jones, we'll both die."  Indiana, coldly: "Then we'll die."  Kazim, confidently: "My soul is prepared.  How's yours?"  Indiana: "This is your last chance."  Kazim, unflinchingly, the massive blade now spinning right behind his head: "No, Dr. Jones.  It's yours."  At the last second, Indiana pulls the man to his feet and they jump to safety. (Caution: d-word used)

Indiana Jones has come to rescue his father, Henry, from the Nazis.  As they begin to make their escape they run into Colonel Vogel holding Elsa at gunpoint.  Vogel: "That's far enough.  Put down the gun, Dr. Jones.  Put down the gun or the fraulein dies."  Henry: "But she's one of them."  Elsa, seemingly terrified: "Indy, please!"  Henry: "She's a Nazi!"  Indiana, shocked: "What?!"  Henry, while Elsa continues to plead: "Trust me."  Vogel, threateningly: "I will kill her!"  Henry, unconvinced: "Yeah?  Go ahead."  Indiana, yelling: "No!  Don't shoot!"  Henry: "Don't worry.  He won't."  Elsa: "Indy, please, do what he says!"  Henry: "And don't listen to her."  Vogel, as Elsa screams: "Enough!  She dies!"  Indiana, sliding his gun onto the table: "Wait!  Wait!"  Vogel shoves Elsa into Indiana's arms.  Elsa, sadly, looking into his eyes: "I'm sorry."  Indiana, reassuringly: "No, don't be."  Reaching down, Elsa slips the Grail diary from Indiana's pouch, and smiling wickedly, returns to Vogel's side: "But...you should have listened to your father."

Indiana and his father fight off two German fighters with no weapons of their own.
