ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. - Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Hiccup has finally worked up the courage to tell his father he doesn't want to fight dragons.  Stoick: "I need to speak to you, too, son."  They each blurt their news at the same time, only to find out they are on opposite sides of the argument.  Stoick has decided it is time for his son to follow in his footsteps, accept the legacy of his Viking tribesmen, and begin training to be a dragon slayer.  Hiccup, on the other hand, has come to the conclusion that he isn't meant for battling the beasts.  When Stoick appears not to hear his son's objections, Hiccup gets blunt: "I don't want to fight dragons."  Stoick laughs dismissively: "Yes, you do."  Hiccup: "No, let me rephrase.  I can't kill dragons."  Stoick: "But, you will."  Hiccup: "No, I'm very extra sure that I won't."  Stoick refuses to accept that his son wants to be something different.  Hiccup: "Can you not hear me?"  Stoick, yelling now: "Can you not hear me?"  Stoick puts his fatherly foot down and demands that Hiccup conform to his idea of a good Viking son.  Hiccup: "I'm not like you, Dad."  Stoick: "You walk like us, you talk like us, you think like us."  He gestures to his son, intimating that all of Hiccup needs to change in order to conform: "No more...this."


Hiccup wonders if everything would be better if he had just killed Toothless when he first found him in the woods.  Astrid, knowing any other Viking would have killed the dragon without question, asks Hiccup why he didn't.  Hiccup at first attributes his actions to cowardice, but Astrid, knowing that isn't the answer, keeps pushing.  Finally, Hiccup admits that he made a conscious decision not to kill his supposed enemy.  Hiccup: "I wouldn't kill him because he looked just as frightened as I was.  I looked at him...I saw myself."


Stoick readies his men for battle, promising to vanquish their foes once and for all.  Eager to capture and conquer the dragon stronghold, the Vikings approach the mountain with weapons raised.  Stoick charges into the nest, yelling.  The Vikings cheer as, at their mere arrival, the dragons take flight and abandon their stronghold.  Gobber, surprised: "Is that it?"  Everyone thinks they've easily won the battle against the beasts, but Stoick knows better.  He knows their real enemy is still hidden within the mountain.  Suddenly, a loud roar shakes the rock and the side of the mountain crumbles.  A dragon the size of a hundred others erupts from within.  The Vikings scatter, running for their lives, realizing they are woefully unprepared for an enemy of this strength.  They run for their boats, hoping only to escape with their lives, but the dragon blasts them with his fiery breath.  The ships erupt into flames, cutting off their only hope of escape.


Gobber has been tasked with training up the next generation of dragon slayers.  He gathers the teens in an arena, telling them that behind each gate lies a different variety of deadly foe.  Without warning, he opens a gate, releasing a large dragon on the unsuspecting students.  Snotlout objects: "Aren't you gonna, like, teach us something first?"  Gobber: "I believe in learning on the job!"  The teens scatter in fright before the angry beast.  Gobber tells them they will first focus on defense: "What's the first thing you're gonna need?"  Astrid: "A shield!"  The students all run for a pile of shields while Gobber yells out instructions: "The Shield is your most important piece of equipment.  If you have to choose between a weapon and a shield, take the shield!"  Several students are immediately eliminated from the exercise as the dragon successfully pelts them with a fireball.  Gobber tells the remaining teens that they can also use their shields to make noise to distract and confuse their prey.  But, the only ones who seem very confused are the inexperienced teens.  Another two are quickly eliminated.  The only one who looks like she knows what she is doing is Astrid, who is the last student still standing.  Gobber, rescuing a cornered Hiccup from near destruction: "End of lesson!"


Hiccup and his classmates face off against the monstrous Dragon Queen, a creature so colossal that she dwarfs all others, making them look like mere mice in comparison. Knowing that only teamwork can win the day, Astrid takes charge, instructing the twins to rescue Snotlout—stranded atop the queen's head—while she distracts the beast. As Astrid maneuvers her dragon around the queen’s massive skull, the twins swoop in from the opposite side, allowing Snotlout to leap to safety onto their dragon’s back. But in a sudden twist, Astrid’s dragon gets its tail caught between the queen’s enormous teeth. Without hesitation, Astrid dives into the monster’s mouth, hacking fiercely at the jaws until her dragon is freed, only to find herself trapped inside. Just as the Dragon Queen prepares to unleash her fiery breath, Hiccup and Toothless arrive in a daring rescue. Astrid springs from the jaws and Toothless catches her mid-air, gently lowering her to safety. Now, with Astrid saved and the queen still looming, Hiccup prepares to face the beast himself.

Hiccup watches with longing as the "cool kids" get to be a part of the battle.  While his peers all seem to possess the same gifts of strength and warfare, Hiccup's abilities are less revered by his tribe.  He has creativity and intellectual skill that has yet to be appreciated by those around him.  The cool kids tease him as they pass by his window: "Shouldn't you be in bed?"  Hiccup vents to Gobber: "I need to get out there!  Show my stuff, make my mark!"  Gobber: "You make plenty of marks.  All in the wrong places."  Hiccup hopes that killing a dragon will finally earn him some respect, maybe even a girlfriend.  Gobber laughs: "You can't wield a hammer.  You can't swing an axe."  But Hiccup believes he can excel in other ways.  Excited, he reveals his latest invention, a cannon-like weapon.  His demonstration, however, falls flat when he strikes another Viking in the face.  Gobber tells Hiccup he needs to change completely if he ever wants to fit in.  And, that's all Hiccup wants - - to be accepted and valued.  "Killing a dragon is everything around here."

Hiccup has invented a prosthetic tail for Toothless and now they are taking it on a test run.  Hiccup has a "cheat sheet" of tail positions attached to his saddle.  He has designed the tail so that it moves with the direction of his feet, and different movements will bring about different results.  He looks at the sheet: "Position three.  No, uh, four."  His heels click back and Toothless's tail flattens out, causing them to glide across the sky.  Hiccup, always carefully watching his paper, changes positions to allow for different flight maneuvers.  "Position five" sends them soaring straight up, an exhilarating experience until Hiccup's cheat sheet blows off the saddle and is carried away by the wind.  Hiccup panics, becoming disengaged from the saddle, and both boy and beast begin falling rapidly towards the sea.  Working frantically, Hiccup grabs the paper out of the sky and makes his way back to his dragon.  He is finally able to return to his place on the saddle, but there is not enough time to consult the cheat sheet.  A collision imminent, Hiccup throws away the paper and follows his gut.  He positions his feet just in time for the two to avoid crashing into the sea.  Together, they soar over the waters, having mastered the technique of working together.


Hiccup has been tasked with killing a dragon.  He stands in the arena, surrounded by his cheering tribe as they eagerly await the death of their foe.  But, when the dragon is released from his prison and enters the arena, instead of attacking, Hiccup slowly lays down his weapons.  Although the beast appears terrifyingly dangerous and is already hurling fireballs at the crowd, Hiccup knows the dragons only attack out of fear.  He bravely faces the approaching animal, holding out a hand towards it and saying quietly: "I'm not gonna hurt you."  The dragon stops spitting fire and even begins to make a purring sound.  He approaches within a couple feet of Hiccup's outstretched arm. As Stoick watches his son offer an olive branch to his worst enemy, he is filled with rage.  He orders the fight stopped.  But, Hiccup wants everyone to see that the dragons aren't the terrible creatures everyone thinks they are: "We don't have to kill them!"  Just as the dragon is about to nuzzle against Hiccup's hand, Stoick stands up, banging his axe loudly and screaming.  The noise and movement startle the dragon, breaking in one instant the bond of peace that Hiccup was trying to forge.
