ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Information about the licenses and subscriptions that you purchase from us including your method of payment.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Van Helsing, the infamous monster hunter, is poised on the top of a train with his gun aimed at Dracula: "Finally!  First I kill Dracula and then the rest of the monsters!"  Dracula, mildly frustrated: "Why do you keep doing this?  Your dad, your grandfather, your great-great-granny...I defeated them all!  When will you Van Helsings ever learn to let go of the hate?"  Van Helsing, again lifting his weapon: "Never!"  Suddenly, Dracula turns into a little mouse, surprising Van Helsing, who doesn't see the train tunnel until it has already struck him.  Later, Van Helsing is in a plane, shooting at Dracula: "I will hunt you for all eternity!"  His plane hits a wall and crashes.  Dracula escapes.  Later, Van Helsing is speeding in a car, chasing Dracula: "I swear I will never rest until I destroy you!"  His car hits a cliff and crashes.  Dracula escapes.  Again and again Van Helsing attempts to kill Dracula and keeps failing.  But he never gives up.  No matter how painful the consequences.

Dracula is trying to use his phone's search engine to find an online dating site.  Dracula: "I'm looking for a Zing (meaning a love interest)."  Phone: "Okay.  Changing phone ring."  Dracula: "No, no.  I'm looking for a date."  Phone: "The date is Friday, July 13th."  Dracula: "No, no, no.  I want to meet someone."  Phone: "Understood.  You want to eat dim sum."  Dracula, frustrated: "Are you kidding me right now?  Don't you get it?  I want to go on a date!  I'm lonely."  Phone: "I understand.  You want bologna."

Wayne and Wanda, looking exhausted, are walking along the ship's deck with their enormous brood of pups.  Dozens of crying and fighting tots cling to the parents, looking a bit like a plague of fleas.  Suddenly, Wayne and Wanda stop, spotting something new on the cruise ship: "Kids Club?  What's a Kids Club?"  The two go inside, seeing a bright, cheery room filled with toys and happy youngsters.  A ship employee greets them from a check-in desk.  (The pups have temporarily quieted down, interested in their new surroundings.)  Wayne, to the employee: "I'm still not sure I understand.  You take my kids, all day, on purpose?"  Employee: "That's right.  What exactly don't you understand?"  Wayne: "Why?"  Employee: "So they can have a great time, and you can have a great time."  Wayne smiles broadly.  Employee: "Oh, don't worry.  You get them back at the end of the day."  Wayne's tired shoulders sag in disappointment: "Oh, well.  That's better than nothing."  Wayne lets out a shrill whistle.  Dozens of other pups who have been waiting outside pour into the room like a wild flood.  The employee gasps in shock as they pour over him in a wave.  Wayne and Wanda, dazed by their newfound freedom, walk out of the club and back onto the deck.  Wayne, his eyes wide: "So, what do we do now?"  Wanda, her eyes equally wide: "I think...I think we do whatever we want?"  Wayne, suddenly smiling: "Whatever we want?"  Wanda, smiling now too: "Whatever we want!"  The two ecstatic parents begin to chant in amazement: "Whatever we want!  Whatever we want!"

Van Helsing is telling Ericka about his lifelong quest to hunt monsters.  He devoted so much time and energy to the task that he got older before he knew it: "Time passed, and my body began to fail me."  Van Helsing wheels over to a mirror where he stares morosely at his own reflection: "It was so sad, Ericka.  First my liver, then my spleen, followed by a kidney or two.  Then my golden locks."  Van Helsing sighs, but then lifts his head determinedly: "But I wouldn't let that stop me!  I replaced my failing organs with technology!"  He stares triumphantly at his reflection, which reveals an aged head sitting atop an entirely mechanical body.  The grotesque form is an amalgamation of cranks, gears, and pumps, looking like a small steam engine on wheels with a head on top.  An organ floating in a glass jar of green fluid appears to be the only organic thing left of his torso.  Van Helsing, smilingly self-satisfied: "And look at me now!  Mmm-hmm.  Girl, it's an improvement, really."

Ericka is in the lost city of Atlantis, searching for an ancient weapon.  Unbeknownst to her, the chamber is completely booby-trapped.  As she walks toward the treasure, she steps on a sinking tile, which sends an axe whirling toward her head.  Dracula rushes to the scene, catching the axe before it can strike.  Ericka is amazed that he saved her life.  Dracula: "Of course!  Why wouldn't I?"  Ericka: "I just can't believe you would do that for a human!"  Dracula: "Humans, monsters, what's the difference?"  Ericka resumes walking toward the treasure, but steps on another trap.  Again, Dracula saves her.  Ericka, sheepishly: "How many times can you save my life, right?"  Dracula, smiling: "I don't know.  Every time?"  Ericka, all fear of traps now gone, eagerly runs forward.  Flames leap all around her from a third trap.  Dracula rushes into the fire and saves her.  She climbs the steps and hits another trap.  A giant spear strikes at her, but Dracula moves her out of the way.  Again and again, Ericka faces danger, only to have Dracula rescue her every time.  Finally, she reaches the weapon and takes it.  A last trap is set off and Dracula must flee with Ericka out of the crumbling treasure chamber, saving her life for a final time.

Johnny has just realized that the giant Kraken monster is being controlled by Van Helsing's music.  Quickly, he sets up his own DJ sound station: "We're gonna use good music to defeat his evil music!"  Johnny chooses "Good Vibrations" by the Beach Boys.  When the peppy music starts playing, the Kraken immediately stops destroying.  His eyes clear and he happily sways to the music.  But, when Van Helsing resumes his own tune, the Kraken's eyes glaze over and he begins terrorizing everyone.  Johnny looks back at his music selection, this time choosing "Don't Worry, Be Happy," by Bobby McFerrin.  Dracula, not liking the tune: "Really?"  Johnny: "It has a nice message."  And it certainly has a good effect on the Kraken, who is again a peaceful beast.  But, he turns violent again as soon as Van Helsing plays his song.  Dracula tells Johnny they need the most brain-dominating song in the universe.  Johnny picks his final choice...the Macarena.  And it works.  No one, including the Kraken, can stop themselves from doing the Macarena.
