ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. - Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Elio is alone in the dark planetarium.  He lies on his back, looking up as the program begins.  Stars light up all over the dome, mirroring the night sky, and a voice narrates: "Since the dawn of time, humans have gazed at the stars and wondered, 'Are we alone?'"  The narrator tells of the deep-space probe Voyager, sent into the far recesses of the universe to try to find a sign of life outside Earth.  "It will drift on, solitary and alone.  But maybe, one day, distant worlds will receive its message, and Voyager will complete its mission, proving we aren't so alone after all."  A single tear courses down Elio's cheek as the lonely boy finds hope that Someone is out there.


Olga and Elio struggle to pilot the ailing Glordon back to the Communiverse, only to discover they’re trapped in a debris field that prevents them from jumping into hyperdrive. The debris is invisible until it’s nearly upon them, leaving them vulnerable—until Melmac, perched at his ham radio and scanning the skies, begins feeding them coordinates to dodge each incoming threat. Thanks to his guidance, they narrowly avoid the first wave. As they drift out of range, Melmac urges them to stay on the same frequency, but soon the radio falls silent, and they are left blind. The ship shudders under the impact of several debris strikes, and their shields begin to fail. Desperate, they cry out into the void, “Is anyone out there? Can anyone hear us?” Just as hope begins to fade, a voice crackles through the static: “This is Senegal. Large debris at 1,300 kilometers!” They swerve just in time. Then a voice from Italy takes over, guiding them until she too fades from range. One by one, voices from across the globe join in, helping them navigate the treacherous field until, at last, they emerge safely on the other side.


When Elio returns with the unconscious Glordon, Lord Grigon stares down at his son in stunned horror. With a thunderous roar, he raises his fist and rips off his armored carapace—an unthinkable act for a Hylurgian, whose armor is sacred and never removed, a symbol of strength and pride. But Grigon casts it aside, choosing instead to tend to his son not as a warrior, but as a father. He gently swaddles Glordon in a cocoon of warmth, wrapping his now soft, vulnerable body around him and rocking him tenderly. The towering military figure cradles his son with surprising gentleness until Glordon begins to stir, and Grigon smiles, reassured. Elio, watching the moment unfold, urges Glordon to speak the truth: “He loves you. Look how much he wanted you back.” Glordon hesitates, then confesses, “I don’t want to be a war machine.” Grigon sighs, his voice heavy with emotion. “I may not always understand you, but I still love you.” Father and son embrace, the bond between them stronger than armor.


As Glordon leads Elio through the winding tunnels of the spaceship, Elio casually asks what the tunnels are for. Glordon shrugs and replies, “Lava flumes,” just as a river of molten lava begins rolling toward them. Elio spins around, eyes wide with panic. “Glordon, I am not fireproof!” Glordon blinks, surprised. “Really? Why didn’t you say something?” “Glordon!” Elio cries, voice rising in terror. Glordon remains calm. “It’s okay. Just get in my mouth.” He opens wide, revealing rows of sharp teeth and a slick, shadowy throat. “What?! No way!” Elio protests. “Trust me,” Glordon insists. With no other option, Elio crawls into the creature’s mouth and curls up, surprised by the unexpected coziness. “Hmmm. It’s actually kind of comfy in here.” Glordon’s muffled voice replies, “It is? I’ve never been in there. Hold on!” He lets the lava current carry him through the tunnel, and when they finally land safely, Glordon opens his mouth and Elio tumbles out. They exchange a triumphant high five.

Elio crawls through the narrow tunnels of the spaceship when he suddenly tumbles into a darkened room, landing on a sticky web that clings to his limbs. Suspended and terrified, he watches as a creature slowly unfurls before him, its sharp teeth glinting and guttural growls echoing through the chamber. When it opens its mouth wide, snarling with dripping jaws, Elio shudders and whispers, “I’m too young to die.” He squeezes his eyes shut as the creature begins wrapping him in the webbing like a cocoon, certain he’s about to become its next meal. But then, his translator disc clicks into alignment, and the snarls shift into a voice that sounds oddly child-like and cheerful: “Whoa! Translator disc! Cool!” Elio, still whimpering, asks, “Are you gonna eat me?” The creature recoils, replying, “Ew. I was just swaddling you because you seemed scared. That’s what my mom does when I get scared. I’m rarely unswaddled.” Elio blinks in amazement. “You’re just a little kid!” He introduces himself and asks the creature’s name. “I’m Glordon! No one’s ever asked my name before!” Glordon beams, clearly touched by the gesture. What once loomed as a terrifying monster now reveals itself to be nothing more than a squishy, soft-hearted child.

As Elio explores the dazzling expanse of the Communiverse with his alien hosts, Ambassador Naos excitedly invites Elio to try the Universal Users Manual, an invention containing the "secrets of the universe."  The Manual, glowing with cosmic wisdom, offers to answer any question Elio might have: "What is the meaning of life?  What lies beyond a black hole?  Is there a purpose to - -"  Elio eagerly interrupts to ask the one question burning in his mind: "Who would win in a fight?  One gorilla with a baseball bat or ten chimps?"  The Manual, clearly hoping to elevate the superficial question, responds solemnly: "None who fight are true winners."  When it sees Elio's disappointment at the answer, the Manual sighs heavily, giving the answer it knows Elio wants: "The gorilla."  Elio is satisfied.


Glordon and Elio have enjoyed a fun day together.  When Glordon asks about Elio's parents, Elio reveals that his parents have died.  Glordon puts a sympathetic hand on his arm: "I'm sorry.  I'm know it's not the same, but my mom's gone a lot.  I miss her a ton.  Sometimes, it feels like dad doesn't even want me."  Elio: "I know what you mean.  The only people who wanted me are gone.  But, I don't know.  What if...what if there's nothing about me to want?  I thought Earth was the problem, but what if it's me?"  Glordon: "Well, I like you.  And you seem fine to me."  Elio smiles shyly at his new friend.  The two lonely boys lean against one another, glad to have found someone who understands.


The inhabitants of the Communiverse watch with growing dread as Lord Grigon gathers his forces and prepares to attack.  Elio, having vowed to negotiate with the fearsome warlord, steels himself for the encounter: "Be confident.  Speak from a position of power."  The ambassadors, visibly relieved not to face Grigon themselves, usher Elio into a spacecraft with little ceremony.  He looks with fear and confusion at the unfamiliar controls.  He begins pushing random buttons, activating the shield, cabin pressure, a nutritious shake, and even a breath mint.  Finally, he accidentally sets the destination to Earth.  The computer verifies his choice: "You have set our destination to your home planet.  Confirm or cancel?"  Elio looks out the window at Grigon's vast army.  He cowers in terror, tempted to return to the safety of his home planet.  But when he sees the Communiverse aliens watching him with hope, he cannot abandon them.  "Cancel."  Inexpertly, he steers his ship directly towards danger.  Ambassador Helix, admiringly: "What a heroic figure he cuts!"  At last, Elio's ship is caught in Grigon's tractor beam and he enters the enemy base.  Elio, panting in fear, bravely faces the army of giants: "Take me to your leader."

Olga sits Elio down with a stern glare, demanding he tell the truth about his recent fight. She ushers him into her office and snatches up a well-worn copy of Parenting Your Spirited Child, flipping through the dog-eared pages while muttering to herself, “I don’t know if this is boundary testing or sleep regression or…” Eventually, she lands on a page filled with illustrated facial expressions meant to represent different emotions. “Which one of these is you?” she asks, holding the book out. Elio scans the options—angry, sad, overwhelmed, sick, embarrassed—and then points to the overwhelmed face. “I don’t know,” he says, “but I think that one is you.” Olga’s eyes widen, her frustration mounting. She takes a deep breath and instructs him not to move, speak, or get injured while she finishes her final meeting of the day. "I have enough to deal with already.”


While Aunt Olga reads the menu aloud, trying to tempt Elio into eating, he huddles beneath the table with his head resting on his knees, silently picking at his shoe. He doesn’t respond—his thoughts consumed by the recent death of both his parents. As Olga’s friend offers her quiet condolences, Elio feels utterly alone. Slipping away unnoticed, he wanders through the crowded museum, drifting past exhibits and strangers. Then he sees a boy about his age joyfully embracing his smiling parents. Elio’s heart sinks, and he lowers his gaze, knowing he will never again feel that kind of warmth.

Glordon and Elio spend a wildly joyful day together in the Communiverse, their laughter echoing as they slide down waterfalls, clinging to each other in a mix of fear and exhilaration. They zoom through the air on hovercrafts, gulping down glass after glass of fizzy pink punch. The dizzying combination of high-speed thrills and sugary indulgence leads to more than one bout of queasiness, but they shake it off with giggles and keep going. They invent a secret handshake, twirl through the embassy in a spontaneous dance, and snack on their favorite treats before bouncing endlessly on rubbery mats. Eventually, the two collapse side by side, breathless and grinning, wrapped in the glow of happy exhaustion.
