ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Anna asks Miss Lawton why she steals.  Miss Lawton, bitterly: "Doesn't it ever worry you that on each table in this house there's an ornament that you couldn't buy with a years' wages?"  Anna: "And what's your answer?  Because everyone can't have them, no one should?"  Miss Lawton: "No.  My answer is, why can't I have them?  Or some of them.  Don't worry.  They won't miss what I take.  I doubt there's even one in a hundred would even notice they're gone."  Anna: "But they're not yours, Miss Lawton.  And they never will be.  I'd give it up if I were you."  Miss Lawton, angrily stalking out of the room: "Keep your advice for someone who's interested, Mrs. Bates."


King George is visiting Downton Abbey and the earl is seated with his royal guests at the dinner table.  Everyone is dressed in formal attire, the table is perfectly laid, and the servants are wearing the royal livery.  The king, enjoying his meal, expresses praise for his personal chef.  Mr. Molesley, brimming with pride, bursts out to the king: "This wasn't Monsieur Corbet, Your Majesty.  Mrs. Patmore cooked it.  In fact, it is the Downton Abbey staff who are serving you this evening."  His chin high, he smiles broadly at the guests.  Everyone stares back at him in varying degrees of horror.  (As a footman, Molesley broke about a thousand rules of etiquette by speaking at all, much less in addressing the king.)  As Molesley begins to notice the chill in the air, the glare from the butler, the astonished gaze of the king, and the embarrassed glances of the guests, his smile fades.  Molesley realizes the full enormity of his faux pas and is overcome by humiliation.  Shuddering, he whimpers: "I do beg your pardon, Your Majesty."  The Queen graciously receives his apology, but Molesley is so mortified, he commits a second grievous error and ignores her.  Lady Grantham, hiding her own embarrassment: "Molesley, Her Majesty is speaking to you."  Molesley comes back to his senses with a gulp and bows exaggeratedly, his joints creaking.  He backs out of the room, slowly and awkwardly.


After discussing some new family history and drama, Robert makes a sarcastic remark, causing Violet to rebuke him as only she can: "Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit."

The Princess Mary is sitting by herself in the estate park when Tom approaches, introducing himself.  He sits down next to her, unaware that she is the princess.  Commenting on his lack of desire to attend the royal proceedings, he confesses he is not much of a royalist.  Mary, surprised, remarks about his in-laws: "That seems odd, as the Crawleys would die for the Crown if they had to."  Tom: "You can love people you disagree with."  Mary: "And you love them?"  Tom nods: "They're decent, at the core."  Mary, knowingly: "People can be decent at the core but very difficult to live with."  Tom, smiling: "True enough.  And they're silly, too.  And snobbish, at times.  I wouldn't give tuppence for their politics.  But I've learned to be happy with all of that.  And, besides, they're my daughter's family."  He turns to look at where the children are happily playing.  Tom, telling Mary that he belongs with the Crawleys: "I spent so much of my life not belonging anywhere.  That's important to me."  Mary, thoughtfully: "I suppose, in the end, it's deciding what's important, isn't it?"


Lady Mary, discouraged, wonders if they should just sell the estate and move on. It would be less stressful, and what good are they really doing, anyway? Anna, lady's trustworthy maid and confidant, reminds her: "Downton Abbey's the heart of this community. And you're keeping it beating." Mary: "So you think we should battle on?" Anna, nodding: "While there's blood in your veins."


The Crawley family are hosting a dinner at Downton Abbey for the visiting King and Queen. During a side discussion, Violet and a few other women offer their opinions about a looming crisis, with one of the ladies reminding the wise and outspoken Violet that she hasn’t won in getting her way. “I don’t believe in defeat,” Violet assures her!

Suspecting an evil plot, Tom and Mary are chasing Captain Chetwode through the streets of the village.  The village is packed with people, as the king is visiting and about to attend a parade.  The two lose sight of their quarry momentarily, as Chetwode ducks into a courtyard.  Watching through a gate, Chetwode sees the king already mounted on his horse, preparing for the parade.  Chetwode, sweating profusely, lifts a gun and takes aim at the unsuspecting king.  Suddenly, Tom appears out of nowhere and tackles Chetwode to the ground.  The two men are wrestling for control of the weapon when Mary comes to Tom's aid.  They succeed in retrieving the weapon just as two of the king's guards spot the trouble and lead the would-be assassin away.  The king is never aware of the danger.

Swearing Mary to secrecy, Violet tells Mary the reason she visited London the previous week was to see her doctor: "I may not have long to live."  Seeing that her granddaughter is horrified, Violet quickly comforts her: "My dear, save your tears for something sad.  There's nothing sad here.  I have lived a privileged and an interesting life, and now it's...it's time to go."  Violet tells Mary that she is passing the baton of caring for Downton Abbey to her.  Mary worries that her grandmother is too weak to return to the ball.  Violet: "Oh, Mary, I can't spend the rest of my life in a shower of, 'How are you feeling?' and, 'Are you quite well?'  Oh, no.  The point is, I'll be fine until I'm not.  That's all there is to it."


At a family dinner discussion involving state politics (with the King and Queen's visit approaching), Isobel rattles off several old clichés, prompting Violet to ask: "Will you have enough clichés to get you through the visit?"


With the King and Queen paying a visit to Downton Abbey, the Downton servants are confronted by the arrogant Mr. Wilson: the "King's Page of the Backstairs.”

The king and queen of England are coming to Downton Abbey and the servants are working hard to prepare the estate for their visit.  Gardeners mow the extensive lawns and rake the pathways.  Others wash hundreds of windows.  Inside the house, the butler and his staff are meticulously washing china and glasses.  They polish the silver until their own faces reflect perfectly in the gleaming metal.  The butler chooses each wine carefully, ensuring it is fit for royalty.  Every last detail is accounted for, even down to the winding of the house clocks.
