ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Captain Alice and the crew of her ship are in dire straits.  Trapped between rocky shoals and vicious Malaysian pirates, the crew has given up all hope, and Mr. Phelps tells the captain they must surrender.  Alice refuses, knowing that will not guarantee their survival.  Looking through the spyglass, she spots an opening between the rocks: "Dead ahead!  Full sails!"  Mr. Phelps, knowing the water there is too shallow: "Captain!  The ship will run aground!  It's impossible!"  Captain, firmly: "You know my views on that word, Mr. Phelps."  Mr. Phelps communicates the order to the crew.  It soon becomes clear that Alice's plan is to tip the ship nearly sideways to navigate over the shallow waters.  Nearly every second, Alice is assailed by warnings from the ever-negative Mr. Phelps that her plan will never work.  But Alice never gives up, even when it looks as though Mr. Phelps is correct.  Climbing up the rigging herself, Alice cuts the sails free.  The ship is now nearly horizontal, but it squeaks through the opening between the jagged rocks and reaches safety on the other side.  The crew is amazed: "You did it, Captain!"  They turn to watch the pirate ships break apart on the rocks.  Alice, to Mr. Phelps: "The only way to achieve the impossible is to believe it is possible."

Alice approaches a gated door, above which hangs a sign reading: "Underlandians Living."  Looking through the gate, she sees Time walking down a narrow path through golden clouds.  Among the clouds are hanging millions of ticking, shimmering watches.  Time, talking to himself, looks around at the watches: "Who has stopped?  Who has ticked their last tock?  Tocked their last tick?"  Closing his eyes, Time concentrates.  The sound of a heartbeat is heart.  Suddenly, Time's eyes pop open with a gasp of revelation.  He looks up to his left at a watch hovering in the clouds: "Brilliam Hinkle."  Upon voicing the name, the watch is lowered into his hand.  The sound of a heartbeat is heard again.  Time takes the watch in his hands, unfastening it from its chain.  He looks at it, whispering: "Brilliam Hinkle.  Your time is up."  He snaps the watch shut.  Across Underlandia, we see Brilliam Hinkle, an elderly man eating a bowl of soup.  He lifts the spoon to his mouth, gasps, and falls face-first into his soup.  Striding purposefully, Time leaves the room of the Living and crosses the hall.  He opens a gated door, above which hangs a sign reading: "Underlandians Deceased."  Alice looks inside the room.  This room, unlike the light and airy room of the living, is dark.  Night dwells perpetually here.  Time again walks down a narrow walkway through a dark sky.  Row after row of silent watches hang in alphabetical order.  Some places are just empty chains, waiting for their owners to arrive.  Time searches for the correct place and attaches the dead watch of Brilliam Hinkle to its chain.  He pauses a moment to look at it: "I hope you were happy.  I hope you used your time well."

Tarrant excitedly enters his father's workshop, having brought him a customer all by himself.  Mr. Hightopp waves a dismissive finger, continuing on with his work.  Wanting to help his father, Tarrant begins to interview Alice, trying to determine what kind of hat she would enjoy.  Mr. Hightopp looks disapprovingly at his son: "The function of a hat is to follow the proper dictum of society.  Not to be fun."  Tarrant reaches into his pocket, pulling out a tiny blue hat: "Father, I have something fun!"  Smiling broadly, he gives it to his father, who wrinkles his nose in distaste.  Mr. Hightopp: "What is it?"  Tarrant's face falls: "It's a hat."  Mr. Hightopp: "Oh, Tarrant, you've got it on backwards."  He begins to rearrange the parts of the hat.  Tarrant, protesting: "Stop.  You'll ruin it!"  Ignoring his son, Mr. Hightopp continues to "fix" the problem.  Soon, a ripping sound is heard, and a portion of the hat comes off in his hand.  Mr. Hightopp, tossing the hat into the garbage can: "Oh, well, tomorrow I'll show you precisely how to make a proper hat."  He smiles at his son, patting him on the head.  Tarrant, sobbing, runs upstairs.

Iracebeth, reeling from her sister's betrayal, runs out of the castle and down the snowy street.  Alice, walking a few blocks away, hears the clock strike six and gasps in fright.  (Alice has travelled back in time to prevent Iracebeth from hitting her head in the town square.)  Alice begins walking faster, spotting Iracebeth heading toward the square.  Alice sees two men carrying a clock: "The clock!  She'll hit her head!"  (The clock had played a fateful role in the girl's accident.)  Alice begins to run.  She reaches the men just before Iracebeth does, and pushes them out of the way before they can hit the girl with the clock.  However, Iracebeth, in turning to look at the commotion, trips and falls, hitting her head on the fountain in the center of the square.  Alice watches in horror as the event she tried to stop comes to pass despite her best efforts.  Alice, realizing that the words of Time were true, after all: "You cannot change the past.  Though I dare say, you might learn something from it."

Mirana and Iracebeth awaken from the time freeze.  When Iracebeth sees that her evil plot to control the world has failed, she is furious.  She begins to pout and whine: "Why does this always happen to ME?  Why does no one love me?"  Mirana, quietly: "I love you, Racie."  Iracebeth, knowing that Mirana's lie is what started everything: "No you don't!  This is all your fault!"  For the first time, Mirana is ready to admit the truth: "I know.  I ate the tarts and I lied about it.  I should have just told the truth and none of this would have ever happened.  I'm so sorry."  While her sister speaks, Iracebeth's eyes get wider and wider.  Mirana, sincerely: "If it's not too late, please forgive me!"  Iracebeth, tears in her eyes: "That's all I ever wanted to hear."  The sisters embrace.

Alice has come to apologize to Time for not listening to his warning.  Alice, looking down at her dead father's watch: "I used to think Time was a thief, stealing everything I loved.  But I see now that you give before you take, and every day is a gift.  Every hour, every minute, every second."
