ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Miles has just been grounded (see clip #CV11561) after a big fight with his parents.  He stands, looking out over the city.  Miles, knowing his mother is standing behind him: "I can hear you being quiet, Mom."  Mom: "It's just hard to see my little man not be my little boy all the time."  She stands next to her son, looking at him: "You know you can tell me anything?"  Miles sighs, then apologizes for being late to his dad's party.  Mom knows he's holding back from her, but she also knows it's time to let him go.  She tells Miles he can go meet Gwen.  Mom tells Miles that she knows he wants to go out into the world and do great things, but it is hard for her because it has always been her role to take care of her little boy.  Mom: "What I worry about most is they won't look after you like us.  They won't root for you like us."  She makes Miles promise to take care of "that little boy" for his mother, to never doubt that he's loved, and to come home for visits.  Miles smiles: "I promise."  Mom: "Just...don't get lost."


The alarm blares over the Spider-Man compound, alerting the hundreds of Spider-Men going about their business.  A voice comes over the loud-speakers: "All stations, stop what you're doing and stop Spider-Man!"  The Spideys all stares at one another, wondering which one of them is the target.  Hundreds of accusatory fingers point in all directions: "You?  You?  You?"  The voice elaborates: "Miles!  Miles Morales!"  Now everyone knows who they're looking for, but not where.  Just then, a Spidey enters the room.  Everyone stares at him.  Spidey: "Do I have web on my face?"  Someone approaches at a run, shouting: "Turn around."  Spidey turns around, revealing to the entire room that Miles is hiding on his back.  Miles runs as hundreds, if not thousands, of other Spider-Men (and cats and T-Rex's) begin to chase after him.  It is a Spidey tidal wave.  (Caution: d-word)


Justin K. Thompson

Ms. Weber, the guidance counselor, is meeting with Miles's parents to discuss his scholastic career.  As usual, Miles is late.  Ms. Weber: "He's got to decide if he's going to commit himself to his future or whatever he's doing instead of being here."  Just then, Miles enters the room, trying to pass his tardiness off with a joke.  Dad: "Now, son, what do we always say?"  Mom and Dad, together: "On time means five minutes early."  Miles sits down as Ms. Weber starts to read off his grades.  They are pretty good, but when his Puerto Rican mother hears he's getting a B in Spanish, she snaps her fingers in anger: "Es impossible!"  Miles tells her his grade is not his fault: "I just missed a few classes."  Dad: "Well, what's 'a few'?"  Miles, wincing: "Five?"  Ms. Weber: "Actually, six."  Mom: "You're dead."


Shameik Moore

Gwen, Miguel, and Jessica have been fighting the evil Vulture when a helicopter is struck by the Vulture's claws.  As the helicopter starts to fall to the ground, the three Spider-heroes know they have to act quickly to save both the passengers and the people on the ground.  Gwen starts to build a netting of web between the helicopter and the ground.  She flings the passengers out the door so Miguel can grab them and bring them to safety.  Then, all three heroes attach webs to the chopper to try to slow its descent.  Only with their combined strength are they able to finally stop the chopper at the netting, saving a number of people from being crushed by the machinery.  Thanks to the heroes, everyone survives.


Oscar Isaac

Miles is late yet again, and he jumps as his parents suddenly appear in front of him.  They immediately confront him, asking who he's been hanging around with and why he's always late.  Dad's hands are crossed over his chest and Mom stands with her hands on her hips.  They mean business.  Miles starts to make excuses, but when his parents won't accept them, he gets angry: "I am 15 years old!  I am basically an adult!"  Mom: "Oh, right, right."  Miles: "It's my life!"  Mom: "It's not your life."  Mom tells Miles his parents and his grandparents have responsibility for his life and have worked to bring him where he is today.  Miles: "Whatever, whatever."  He winces as he realizes what he's just said.  He looks guiltily at his parents.  Their eyes are bulging: "Whatever?  Whatever!"  Dad, to Mom: "Do I get to say it?  Please tell me that I can say it."  Mom: "Say it."  Dad: "You're grounded!"  Miles is stunned to find himself with a month's grounding.  He pulls out the typical teenage weapon: "You don't understand!"  Dad: "You're right.  You are right.  I have no idea what's going on with you!"  Dad raises his voice until everyone at the party can hear.  Everyone is staring at them.  Miles gives up, stalking away.  Dad calls after him, raising the prison term to two months.  The two parents are left standing there, watching the son they love walk away in anger.


Peter looks down at his sleeping baby.  MJ walks up behind him, putting her arm around her husband.  The two look lovingly down at their daughter.  Peter: "You think I'll be any good at this?"  MJ, raising her eyebrows: "You're asking that now?  There's no playbook for raising someone like her.  You just gotta make the right adjustments at half time."

Hailee Steinfeld

Gwen is struggling and feeling alone.  The only thing that gives her relief is playing her drums.  She is practicing with her band, thrashing violently on the drums, when she suddenly notices the rest of the band has stopped playing.  They've been trying to get her attention, but she was absorbed in venting on the drums.  Gwen, shamefacedly: "Is the song over?  Seems over."  The three girls stare at her irritably, knowing something is going on with her, but frustrated she won't talk about it.  Girl #1: "Are you okay?"  Girl #2: "You don't hang out, and you don't want to talk."  Gwen: "I didn't join a band so I could talk about my feelings!  I joined it so I could hit my feelings with sticks!"  Girl #2: "If you don't tell someone what's going on, you're gonna snap."  Gwen, defensively: "I'm fine."  Girl #1: "That's not how someone who's fine would say that."  Girl #2, cheerfully: "They'd say, 'I'm great.  Thanks.  How are you?'"  Gwen, angrily knocking her drum set to the ground: "I'm great!  Thanks!  How are you?"  She grabs her coat and stalks away.
