ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Chloe opens the refrigerator door, spotting a golden roast chicken resting on a platter.  She licks her lips, contemplating eating her owner's dinner.  Suddenly, she shrinks back, shaking her head.  The chicken is forbidden territory.  A guilty look crosses her face.  Sighing, she closes the fridge door.  A moment later, she opens it again and peeks at the chicken.  She reaches out a paw for a drumstick, then pulls it back, groaning.  She again closes the door.  A moment later, she opens it again.  She stares at the chicken, wrestling with the temptation to eat it.  She closes her eyes, then peeks out at it.  She gnaws on the shelf in frustration.  She bangs her head repeatedly on the fridge, trying to knock the image of the chicken out of her mind.  Finally, she gives up.  With a delighted grin, she leaps at the chicken.

In the middle of a city street, a fluffy white bunny sits, munching innocently on a carrot.  The animal control van pulls up and a dogcatcher steps out, unwary of any danger: "Oh, hey there, cute little bunny.  Whatcha doin' in the middle of the road?"  The "cute" little bunny looks up with wide, innocent eyes.  Suddenly, it glares fiercely, lunging at the dogcatcher's face.  The bunny begins to beat up the dogcatcher, who manages to squeak out a cry for help to his partner.  His partner looks out of the van in time to see a pig and a lizard heading toward him.  Dogcatcher, still being pummeled by the bunny: "Save yourself!"  The bunny, evidently the leader of the gang, gives his cohorts the order and the three commandeer the animal control van.  Once inside, the bunny gnaws his carrot into the shape of a key and releases a pit bull from a cage.  Bunny, grinning evilly, shouts: "The revolution has begun!  Liberated forever!  Domesticated never!"

Gidget, a fluffy puffball of a dog, looks out over the city, anxious for her lost friend, Max.  Suddenly, she hears a voice coming from somewhere behind her: "Looks like you could use a little help."  Gidget, looking around: "Who said that?"  Ominous voice: "Over here...in this dark and foreboding shed."  Gidget sees a rundown shack and prances over to it.  Inside, a hawk wearing a hood offers to help her find Max if Gidget promises to set him free.  Gidget, brightly: "Wow, really?  You're so sweet!"  Hawk, sniffing the air hungrily: "You're sweet, too.  But not too sweet.  There's also a salty, gamey thing going on."  Gidget, completely unaware of any danger, opens the cage and begins to walk inside.  The floor is covered with the skeletons of creatures not much smaller than Gidget herself.  Gidget paws her way daintily over the bones, smiling brightly at her new friend.  Hawk: "You're a very thoughtful food.  Food?  I didn't say that.  I said, 'Friend.'"  Gidget, oblivious: "I'm sure lucky I found you!"  The hawk bends his head to allow Gidget to pull off his hood.  As soon as she does, she realizes her mistake.  The hawk rises into the air with a furious screech and makes a dive for his dinner.

Snowball explains his bitter hatred for humans to Duke and Max: "See, all of us have suffered at the hands of man."  He tells how his owner, a magician, left the profession and abandoned him as well.  Many of the other rejected animals are nodding, his story striking a similar chord in their own wounded hearts.  Tattoo steps forward to share his own tale of woe.  When his owners no longer had any use for him, they discarded him.  Snowball: "Humans say they love us.  But then they turn around and throw us out like garbage."

Duke is locked in a cage inside a van that is hanging precariously off a bridge.  Max rushes to rescue his friend, jumping onto the van and picking his way carefully over the cracking windshield.  The van slips further off the bridge and Max realizes he must get the keys in order to unlock Duke's cage.  While he wrestles with the ignition, the van begins to sway.  He has just succeeded in grabbing the keys when the van plunges toward the river, taking the two dogs with it.  The rest of the animals watch in horror as the van disappears under the surface of the water.  The force of the water rips the keys from Max's jaws.  He watches helplessly as they drift away.  Turning toward the cage, Max tries to pry open the bars and release Duke, but he cannot.  The two dogs look at each other sadly.  Back on the bridge, Snowball kisses Gidget, calling out for his friends to remember him as he dives boldly into the river.  Inside the van, things are looking hopeless.  There is no air left inside and the two dogs have given up hope of escape.  Suddenly, Snowball appears with the keys.  Max hurriedly releases Duke and the three friends swim back to the surface.  Pulling himself up onto a piece of driftwood, Snowball takes a deep gasp of air.  Smiling to himself, he shouts: "I feel heroic!  And handsome!"  Duke and Max swim to shore, where Duke thanks his friend for saving his life.

Duke and Max say goodbye to Snowball and the gang.  The rabbit laughs at the two house pets: "Man, I feel sorry for them.  Gotta run home to their owners!"  He turns back to the other homeless animals: "Not us.  Now, it's back to our primary mission...the downfall of the human race!"  He rubs his paws together ominously.  Suddenly, a little girl rides by on a scooter, spotting the four animals: "Mommy!  Can I have a bunny?  And a pig and a crocodile and a lizard?"  The animals gasp in fright, quickly scuttling back down into the sewer.  All except Snowball, who gets the door slammed in his face.  The little girl runs up to Snowball, grabbing him in a strangling embrace.  Snowball tries to fight her off, punching her with his little paw: "Jab!  Jab!  Jab!  Body-blow!  Body-blow!"  But nothing disturbs the little girl.  Instead, she smiles, beginning to stroke Snowball's head.  Snowball, confused by the unfamiliar affection: "What's she doing?"  The girl hugs Snowball to herself, promising: "Bunny, I'm gonna love you forever and ever and ever!"  Snowball's street-hardened face melts into a tender smile.  He sighs happily, snuggling into her shoulder, as the little girl takes him home.
