ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Henry has found a way to board his father's cursed pirate ship.  For the first time in his life, he stands face-to-face with the father he's longed for.  But Will is held in bondage by a curse that ties him to the ship and the sea.  His face partially covered in barnacles, Will tells his son to leave the forsaken ship.  Henry refuses: "I think I know a way to break your curse.  The Trident of Poseidon can break your curse!"  Will, sorrowfully hugging his son: "The Trident can never be found.  It's just a tale."  Henry is adamant, determined to save his father.  Will, despairingly: "My curse will never be broken."

Jack and Carisa are both condemned to death.  Jack is trapped in the guillotine, and Carisa is standing in the gallows at the other end of the town square.  Just as an officer gives the order for their death, a man swings through the air on a rope, circling around the gallows and landing in the midst of a group of officers.  He begins to fight them off, but is quickly overpowered.  Just then, the blast of a cannon is heard.  The cannon ball, shot by the band of rescuers, strikes the base of the guillotine, sending Jack and the blade spinning around like a carnival ride.  Jack, narrowly escaping losing his head, finally comes to a dizzying stop.  Meanwhile, another rescuer goes to free Carisa while the rest fight off the soldiers.  Both Jack and Carisa are freed, just in the nick of time.

Gibbs approaches Captain Jack, expressing doubt that their plan to find the Trident will work.  Jack, confidently: "Master Gibbs, you old worrywart, there's nothing to be concerned about at all.  What could possibly go wrong?"  Gibbs raises a doubtful eyebrow.  Jack orders the restraining ties to be cut from the ship.  As the rope is removed, the braces keeping the ship on land begin to fall.  The ship starts to slide forward toward the sea.  Jack, holding the wheel, grins triumphantly as adventurous music builds in the background.  Jack begins to give a speech to his crew.  Before he can say more than a few words, the ship suddenly jerks to a stop.  The jolt sends everyone on board tumbling to the deck with grunts of pain and surprise.  (The sailors had neglected to remove the final rope tying the boat to the dock.)  Captain Jack stands shakily: "Something's gone wrong."

Captain Salazar remembers when he and his crew took out an entire fleet of pirate ships.  One-by-one, the ships fall under the superior fire-power of Salazar's ship.  Finally, nothing is left of them but a smoking wreckage.  As the dust clears, cries for help begin to be heard coming from the water.  The surviving pirates are clinging to floating rubbish, calling out for help.  First Officer, to Salazar: "They are begging for mercy."  Salazar, looking out at a rowboat where desperate men are waving a white flag: "Mercy?  Mercy?  There's no mercy."  Callously taking a bite of an apple, Salazar orders his men to fire on the survivors.  Looking disturbed, the officers reluctantly obey, firing on the men while they cry out for help.  (Caution: images may disturb some viewers)

Carina, an expert astronomer, warns Captain Barbossa that his map is incomplete: "I can take us to the Trident if you'd only trust me!"  The captain only scoffs.  His first mate agrees: "There is no island on any map to support what the woman says."  Will, however, knows they need to listen to Carina: "Captain, you don't have to understand her.  Just believe her."

Carina, Barbossa, and the others are climbing up the anchor chain of the ship, trying to escape the enclosing sea.  When the chain strikes a rock, Carina loses her grip and begins to fall toward the ocean floor.  Barbossa reaches out an arm and grabs her: "I got you!"  He draws her back to the chain, where she can again get a grip.  She looks up at him, seeing something surprising in his eyes.  He smiles tenderly at her.  Carina, beginning to suspect the man might be her father: "Who am I to you?"  Barbossa, still smiling: "Treasure."  Suddenly, over Carina's shoulder, Barbossa sees Salazar wielding a sword and climbing toward the girl.  Barbossa places Carina's hand on the chain, telling her to hold on.  Grabbing a sword, Barbossa lets go of the chain and begins to drop.  As he falls, he keeps his eyes focused on Carina, knowing this will be the last time he sees his daughter.  When he is level with Salazar, Barbossa strikes him with the sword, knocking him back towards the ocean.  His job done, Barbossa looks back at his daughter, watching her as he falls into the sea.  Tears in her eyes, Carina stares back at him until he disappears under the waves.  (Caution: images may disturb some viewers)
