ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

At the top navigation of any page, there are links to see: "All Scene Ideas," or "All Scene Views," or "All Scene Downloads."

When you click on a Theme and see the results, there is a "Filter Scenes" option to show: All Scenes, Scene Views Only, Scene Downloads Only, or both Scene Views and Downloads Only.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__
- Before using ScreenVue content, please check your country’s Authorised Producers List to confirm the content is covered (all ScreenVue content is covered in the USA).

Mrs. Harris is cleaning a client's house when she sees a beautiful Dior dress draped over a chair.  The light gleams on the dress, sending sparkles like diamonds reflecting off the lilac skirt.  Mrs. Harris stares, her gaze transfixed on the most beautiful dress she has ever seen.  She puts her hands to her mouth, almost worshipfully, overcome with desire to possess the frock.  Slowly, she reaches out her hands to caress the garment.  He fingers gently stroke the delicate fabric.  Just then, Lady Dant enters the room and notices Mrs. Harris admiring her new dress.  Although strapped for cash, Lady Dant confesses to having spent 500 pounds on the dress: "...but when I put it on, nothing else matters."  Hearing her husband's voice down the hall, Lady Dant quickly orders Mrs. Harris to hide the dress she knows they can't afford.  Mrs. Harris goes to put it in the wardrobe, but stops in front of the mirror to see it once more.  She hugs it to herself, closing her eyes dreamily and smiling.


Madame Colbert has reluctantly invited Ada to her office to discuss the designer dress she has ordered from Dior.  Madame condescendingly asks the housekeeper why she would even want a Dior dress: "Where will you wear it?  At the Vienna Opera Ball or Queen Charlotte's?  Will you wear it to polish floors, or will you keep it shut in your little wardrobe?"  She continues, patronizingly: "Forgive me for saying this, but you are nobody.  Invisible.  How will you give this dress the life it deserves?"  Ada, hiding her hurt: "It's my dream.  And my money's as good as anybody else's."  Madame: "You may buy your dream, but what will you do with it?"  Just then, Natasha enters the room with a beautiful bouquet of roses.  She gives them to Ada: "These are for you, from Monsieur le Marquis.  He wishes that you visit for tea tomorrow."  Madame is shocked that such an elite member of the aristocracy would invite a housekeeper to tea: "Le Marquis de Chassagne?  But...he receives nobody!"  Ada, looking pointedly at Madame: "I am nobody, aren't I?"


When Ada and Violet approach the betting booth at the dog track, Ada notices that one of the dogs is named "Haute Couture."  Believing this to be a sign, Ada excitedly bets one hundred pounds on the dog.  Violet and Archie are horrified.  Not only is this almost all of Ada's entire savings, but it was a lot of money in those days.  The two friends try to talk Ada out of making this rash decision, but Ada is determined.  Archie, who knows dogs, protests: "The dog's a bag of bones!"  Ada, however, believes the dog's name is a sign from heaven and insists Archie take the bet.  With his boss looking over his shoulder, Archie has no other choice.  He puts the bet down in the books and Ada and Violet go to find their seats.  The race begins and Ada is ecstatic to see her dog immediately take the lead.  Halfway through the race, however, Haute Couture suddenly stops in the middle of the track and sniffs around as if confused.  By the time she starts running again, the rest of the dogs have practically crossed the finish line.  Ada's dog finishes last and her life savings is gone.  (Caution: a-word used)


When Andre learns that Natasha is reading a book by his favorite philosopher, Sartre, he is pleasantly surprised.  He tries to explain the premise of the book to Mrs. Harris: "The author likes us to consider the case of the waiter.  Is the waiter the waiter, or is it just an expression of what the waiter is?  Similarly, am I the accountant, or is that an outward impression?  Is Mademoiselle Natasha only the most beautiful, the most exquisitely divine Parisian model, or..."  Natasha interrupts, tired of being judged only for her beauty: "Or is there another person behind the facade?"  She looks to Mrs. Harris: "Is Mrs. Harris the cleaner, or is there more to define her existence?"  Andre: "Exactly."


Mrs. Harris, wearing her faded house dress and serviceable coat, approaches the matron at the desk in the House of Dior.  Smiling, she asks in a rustic accent: "Excuse me, dear.  Where would I find the frocks?"  The matron, Madame Colbert, gasps slightly in horror: "I fear you have the wrong address, Madame.  I will call someone to show you the way."  Madame pushes frantically on the hidden button at the side of her desk.  She rushes Mrs. Harris to the back of the room, not wanting her to stand in the way of the elite customers that are beginning to file in.  Madame greets the well-dressed clients with a fawning manner and big smiles.  She welcomes the countesses and baronesses in their furs with open arms.  When Mrs. Harris sees everyone being served except her, she interrupts: "Excuse me, Madame, I was here first, before any of this lot."  Madame ignores her.  Mrs. Harris won't be ignored.  She puts a hand on Madame's arm: "I'm sorry, I'm not one to make a fuss.  But where I come from, shop girls are pleased to be of service."  Madame, offended: "Shop girls!"  Just then, Monsieur Fauvel arrives and Madame asks him to escort Mrs. Harris out of the building.  But Mrs. Harris won't go.  She has scrimped and saved her cleaning wages for this 500 pound dress and can't understand why Madame is unwilling to sell it to her.  Even after seeing Mrs. Harris's rolls of cash, Madame wants her evicted.  She doesn't think a housekeeper belongs in the same room as a countess.  Disgusted by the ill-treatment of Mrs. Harris, a wealthy marquis offers her his arm: "It would be my honor to have you view the collection as my guest."  He escorts the lady into the viewing room, to the embarrassment of Madame Colbert.

Ada has received a package from the war office and sits down with her best friend to open it.  (It has been more than a decade since the end of the war, and Ada's husband never came home from the fight.)  Although Ada knows in her heart Eddie isn't coming back, she still hesitates to open the package, believing somehow that not knowing will keep her hope alive.  When she removes the paper and finds a ring and a telegram, Ada is overcome and hands the letter to Violet to read.  The letter tells Ada what she has always feared, that Eddie's ring was discovered at a crash site in Poland and that he has been officially declared killed in action.  Tears fill Ada's eyes: "I should have known.  He would have got back to me if he could have, one way or another."  Violet holds Ada's hand and she tries to hold back the tears.
