ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 4,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  part of the ScreenVue Vault.

All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

It is Lyle's opening night performance and Hector gives him a pep talk backstage: ♪ "So, even when you're terrified, just smile a smile a mile wide…" ♪ He leads Lyle out onto the stage and continues singing to a packed auditorium.  The crowd goes wild when they see Lyle in his tuxedo, but Lyle's eyes widen in fear.  It takes Hector a few beats to notice that he is the only one singing.  Ever the professional, Hector continues his part of their song-and-dance routine while surreptitiously begging Lyle to join in.  But Lyle just continues to stare at the audience, terrified into muteness.  Hector continues to plead: "Sing, Lyle, please!"  Hector nears the end of the opening song, where Lyle is supposed to be featured.  The auditorium is silent as Lyle finally opens his mouth.  Nothing comes out except a pitiful squeak.  The audience begins to laugh at Lyle, who looks mortified.


It is Josh's first day at his new school in the city.  Too nervous about being late to eat breakfast, he drags his mom along his pre-planned route.  They walk through the crowded city blocks, where everyone and everything appears larger than life to the terrified Josh.  Noises are everywhere, people jostle against him, and everything is new and unfamiliar.  When he drops his phone and stops to pick it up, multiple people yell at him for being in the way.  He moves towards the subway as if in a nightmare.  Just before climbing on, he grabs his mom's hand for comfort.  Finally, they make it to the junior high.  As Josh walks alone towards the school, his mom calls after him: "You got this!"  Unfortunately, her efforts at comforting him backfire as the other students begin to make fun of him: "Ha, ha!  You got this!"  Sadly, he walks down the hallway in a daze.  Suddenly, he is confronted by a group of angry students: "Did you not see us filming here?"  He realizes that he has walked into the middle of a social media post.  He walks away as the students call him a weirdo.  Later, he is in wrestling practice where he gets trounced by his teammate.  It is a bad ending to a bad day.


Hector comes out of the house wearing Florida Gators team gear.  Behind him comes Lyle, wearing…himself.  Hector's idea is for all of them to dress up like rabid Gators fans so Lyle can enjoy a day on the town with them.  Mrs. Primm and Josh go along with the plan, but they are still worried about walking around the city with a crocodile.  Josh: "Are you sure this is safe?"  Hector, grinning: "Safe?  Who wants to be safe? No, no, no.  Safe is a repellent little word.  Expunge it from your mind.  We are here to live!  And living is a dangerous business, my friend."  Mrs. Primm: "You're not worried that some people might think he's a real crocodile?"  Hector: "Nothing could be of less importance than what other people think."


Josh races through the city in pursuit of Lyle after the crocodile devours the family cat. Just as Josh is about to be mugged, Lyle reappears and comes to his rescue.

Mr. Primm is taking out his trash when his neighbor, Mr. Grumps, confronts him.  Mr. Grumps, furious: "Hey!  Those are my trash cans, not your trash cans!  Yours are the back."  Mr. Primm, who just moved into the neighborhood, tries to apologize for the mistake, but Mr. Grumps won't hear it.  Mr. Grumps: "Sorry is right.  Don't be coming 'round here scattering your suburban mediocrity all over my trash!  And, someone's been feeding my cat!  I want to know who.  Do you have any idea how dangerous irritable bowel syndrome can be in a cat as valuable as Loretta?"  Mr. Primm, who has never fed Loretta, doesn't even have a chance to get a word in edgewise.  Mr. Grumps continues his rant: "If I catch you, or your wife, or your horrible son so much as looking at Loretta, my lawyers will be all over you.  Do I make myself clear?"  Mr. Primm, attempting meekly to defend himself: "Now, hold on a minute..."  Mr. Grumps, raising his voice even higher: "Yes, or no!"  Mr. Primm, backing quickly away: "Yes."  As Mr. Primm scurries to the back to find his trash cans, Mr. Grumps calls after him, sarcastically: "Oh, please, use more of the hot water!  Help yourself!"

When Mrs. Primm comes to wake Josh up for school, she is surprised to find he is not in his room.  Seeing the door to the attic is open, she climbs the stairs, calling to Josh.  Josh and Lyle were up late the night before, eating pizza and drinking soda, and they are both asleep on the couch together.  But Mrs. Primm, who didn't know a crocodile was living in their attic, has a different perspective when she sees her son unconscious by the gaping (snoring) mouth of a crocodile.  She screams and runs to rescue her son.  Tearing him away from Lyle, she runs with her son downstairs.  Josh tries to explain to her that Lyle is a friend, a gentle crocodile, and someone who would never hurt him.  But her beliefs about the nature of crocodiles prevent her from even hearing him.  Lyle, hoping to show that he is a kind croc, runs downstairs and stops in front of them.  Smiling, he begins to sing what he knows is Mrs. Primm's favorite song..."How Sweet it is to be Loved by You."  He puts all of his loving feelings into his words as he serenades her.  Though still somewhat afraid, she stops screaming and listens to the song, amazed to hear it coming from a crocodile.
