ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Dumbledore looks up at a portrait of his dead sister.  When Newt asks how she died, Dumbledore regretfully tells of his part in her demise.  A fight between Dumbledore and his brother Aberforth had escalated into violence: "Aberforth drew his wand, which was foolish.  I drew my wand, which was even more foolish.  No one heard Ariana coming down the stairs.  Can't say for certain it was my...spell.  Doesn't really matter.  One minute she was there, and the next she was gone."  Newt can see that his friend's grief over his past actions is great: "Albus, Lally said something earlier about most of us being ultimately imperfect.  But, even if we make mistakes, terrible things, we can try to make things right.  And, that's what matters...trying."


Newt is trying to rescue Theseus from the dungeon prison when their lantern suddenly goes out.  The lobster-like creatures that had been following the brothers quickly scurry away in fright, knowing that with the darkness comes the great beast that lives in the heart of the dungeon.  Behind their backs, an enormous barbed leg reaches out of the pit.  The brothers turn to look just as the leg pulls back to strike.  They run.  The scorpion-like limb thrusts at them again and again, shooting fireballs of lava at their backs as they run through the dark tunnels.  After several narrow misses, Theseus is finally trapped.  Behind him, the lava-heated walls are melting, and in front of him the mouth of the great beast yawns open.  He runs, barely escaping a number of thrusts, until, finally, a leg wraps around his middle.  Newt tries to pull him away from the beast, but it is too strong.  It begins to drag Theseus down into the depths.  Just then, Newt's creatures arrive, carrying a necktie that has been changed into a portkey (an object that allows anyone touching it to immediately transport to another location).  Newt holds Theseus's hand as he grabs a hold of the tie.  Instantly, the two find themselves safe in the forest outside Hogwarts, a partial leg still wrapped around Theseus's waist.


Jacob is desultorily getting ready for a new day.  As he sweeps his bakery floor, he notices that the groom has fallen over on his display wedding cake.  He starts to stand it back up when the bell at the front door rings.  He lays the groom back down, perhaps thinking of his own missed opportunity for nuptial bliss.  He enters the front room with surprise, seeing his long lost love, Queenie, smiling back at him.  She looks around sadly at his mostly empty bakery: "Your bakery.  It's like a ghost town."  Jacob, sadly: "Yeah, well, I missed you."  Queenie beams at him, opening her arms lovingly.  He walks into her embrace, holding her tightly as tears fall down his face.  Queenie strokes his head: "Everything's gonna be all right."  A view from outside the bakery shows Jacob standing alone in the room, his arms wrapped in an invisible embrace.  Suddenly, he comes out of his reverie, realizing that Queenie is still gone from his life.

Jacob's attempts to eat his stew are being interrupted by a small deer-like creature trying to get to his dish.  Newt tells Jacob the creature is a Qilin, one of the most beloved creatures in the wizarding world.  Jacob wonders why the seemingly annoying creature is so beloved.  Newt: "'Cause she can see into your soul.  If you are good and worthy, then she'll see that.  But if, on the other hand, you're cruel and deceitful, then she'll know that too."  Jacob: "Oh yeah?  Does she just tell you that, or..."  Lally: "She bows, but only in the presence of someone truly pure of heart.  I mean, almost none of us are, of course, no matter how good of a person one tries to be.  There was actually a time, many, many years ago, when the Qilin chose who'd lead us."


Lally has come to ask Jacob to help save the world.  Jacob, a portly baker, holds up a battered frying pan: "Look.  You see this?  You see the pan?  That's me.  I'm the pan.  I'm all dented, dime-a-dozen…I'm just a schmo.  I don't know what kind of crazy ideas you have in your head there, lady, but I'm sure as h--l you could do a lot better than me."  Lally, recalling how Jacob risked himself to save her from potential thugs: "I don't think we can, Mr. Kowalski.  You could have looked the other way, but you didn't.  In fact, you were willing to put yourself in danger to save a perfect stranger.  Seems to me, you're just the kind of average Joe the world needs right now."  (Caution: h-word)

Mr. Vogel, an important government official, is walking with his entourage when Newt approaches and asks to speak with him: "I have a message from a friend, and it cannot wait."  Vogel waits expectantly while Newt leans in and quietly intones: "Do what is right, not what is easy."  (Vogel is about to decide whether or not the Ministry will pursue convicting Grindelwald for his crimes.)  Newt, continuing: "He said it was important that I reach you tonight.  That you hear them tonight, the words."  Vogel knows they are speaking of Dumbledore.  He looks searchingly at Newt before responding: "I thank you, Mr. Scamander."
