ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Colt and Alma are fighting the kidnappers that nabbed Alma (see clip # CV11887).  While Colt battles the thug in the back of the truck, Alma tackles the one in the cab.  When the kidnapper is distracted by Jean Claude's bites, Alma begins to beat him with her metal water bottle.  Meanwhile, the bed of the dump truck comes loose and flips on its side, with Colt and the thug fighting within.  The two men trade punches while trying to remain inside the dubious protection of the bed.  When the bed strikes a concrete barrier, it is completely severed from the truck and begins to spin in circles.  The fighting inside continues.  Back in the cab, Alma is kicking her opponent and manages to boot him out onto the street.  When an oncoming car threatens a collision, Colt leaps from the bed back onto the truck, leaving the villain behind.  


Colt has been captured by Ryder's henchmen.  He sits on the edge of a dock, his hands bound behind him.  The henchmen begin to pour gasoline over him, intending to set him on fire.  Thinking fast, Colt opens his mouth, filling it with gasoline.  He holds the mouthful until the thug flicks his lighter.  Colt spews the gasoline at the flame and the thug is immediately ignited.  In the confusion, Colt bolts, his hands still tied behind his back.  He leaps into a motor boat and speeds away.  Facing backwards, he steers the boat with his bound hands.  The bad guys chase after him.  He is able to gain some ground when he leaps the boat over the flaming dock.  This gives him enough time to steer into a group of moored boats and hide.  (Caution: s-word)


Scenes from various movies flash by, showing stunt men taking a beating at their job.  Men (and women) fall down steep hills, jump out of windows, and crash cars while a narrator describes the harrowing job that they do.  Narrator: "They're in almost every movie.  You just don't know that they're there.  'Cause that's the job.  They're the unknown stunt performers, and they get paid to do the cool stuff."  A scene shows a man leaping from a speeding train onto a car.  Another shows a stunt man riding a motorcycle on top of a line of parked cars.  He ends by slamming into a windshield, shattering the glass.  "They also get paid to take it on the chin.  And everywhere else, if you know what I mean."


When Dan tells Colt that his first stunt on returning to the job after a broken back will be a Cannon Roll, Colt is terrified.  (A Cannon Roll is rolling a car over and over as many times as possible.)  Dan tells his friend that he needs to move on from his accident.  But Colt can't shake the memories of his last, horrible stunt: "It was a massive miscalculation of the rig!  I almost killed myself in front of the whole crew!  (See clip # CV11885)  Colt is afraid of another massive failure.  Dan, offering up the wisdom of Stallone: "It's not about how hard of a hit you can give.  It's about how many times you can get hit and keep moving forward."  Colt: "That's messed up.  You can't quote Rocky on me like that."


Jody is sitting at her computer when a man in a full-body alien suit sneaks up behind her and puts a hand over her mouth.  Man, in an alien-robotic voice: "Jody, you need to keep quiet.  Don't say a word."  Fearing the worst, Jody frantically grabs office supplies from her desk and begins hitting the alien with them.  Startled, the alien doesn't have time to respond before Jody jabs a pen into his thigh.  The alien screams in pain.  Jody's attack only becomes more frenzied as she kicks and punches the unknown man.  He never has time to utter more than a grunt as blow follows after blow.  Finally, Jody tackles the man to the ground and yanks the pen out of his thigh.  She aims it at his throat.  The man is able to stop her, saying weakly: "Its me.  It's me."  He gives her a shaky thumbs-up.  Suddenly, Jody realizes the man in the suit is Colt.  Colt: "Nice work with the pen.  It was great.  You got it out just in time.  I think the ink poisoning didn't set in."  (Caution: Lord's name used in vain)


Colt is preparing to do a stunt where he falls backwards from a height of several stories.  He is attached to a rig that is supposed to stop his fall before he hits the ground.  We see him fall and then the screen goes black.  Screams are heard in the darkness.  Someone calls for a medic.  The light comes back and Colt is strapped to an ambulance gurney.  His back is broken.


Colt is talking to Alma when two strange men approach them from behind and taze them.  The men carry a semi-conscious Alma to a dump truck and kidnap her.  Colt chases after them in his truck, accompanied by his canine friend, Jean Claude.  Spotting a short-cut, Colt drives the truck up a set of stairs and jumps it over a wall.  He lands successfully on the street right behind the kidnappers.  He repeatedly rams them until his truck is pinned underneath the dump truck's bed.  Now, with their trucks temporarily attached, he sends Jean Claude, an attack dog, out of the broken windshield and into the other truck.  On command, Jean Claude attacks the villain.  Meanwhile, the two vehicles have become disengaged.  Setting the truck on cruise-control, Colt climbs out of the windshield and onto the front of his speeding truck.  Desperate to catch the kidnappers, he leaps into the bed of the dump truck in order to save Alma.
