ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Information about the licenses and subscriptions that you purchase from us including your method of payment.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Janette, referring to Eddie's regular attempts to succeed at some sport or other: "Marbles one week, holding your breath the next.  When is it all going to end, young man?"  Eddie, matter-of-factly: "When I become an Olympian."  In the other room, Eddie's father hears and rolls his eyes disgustedly.  Later, Eddie is back in the doctor's office, having his leg brace adjusted (Eddie has spent a year in the hospital for "dodgy" knees.)  Years later, he finally has his leg brace removed.  Doctor: "Now, you've got to take it easy.  Don't do any climbing up trees and too much running around.  All right?"  He looks at Eddie's mother: "His knees are still healing."  Eddie grins ecstatically, feeling he can now focus all of his attention on discovering his Olympic skill.  His first attempt is the pole vault.  Yelling, he runs down the alley toward a mattress, but his stick breaks before he can jump.  Eddie opens a tin and puts his broken glasses inside.  Later, Eddie tries the hurdles, but the last one does him in.  The sound of breaking glass means another trip to the optometrist and another pair of glasses for the tin.  Next, Eddie tries weight-lifting.  Balancing two paint tins on the end of a broom, Eddie struggles to lift them over his head.  Having succeeded, he has no strength remaining to hold them and tips over backward, again breaking his glasses.  His stints as a shot-putter and javelin-thrower have similar results.  Finally, his father steps in: "Listen, enough is enough!"  Eddie: "What about my Olympic preparations?"  Terry: "Eddie!  You are not an athlete!"  Eddie looks devastated.

Mr. Target, the head of the British Winter Olympics Selection Committee, is addressing a group of potential sponsors.  Hoping to impress the businessmen with the skill of the British athletes, the pompous Mr. Target gives a speech while the 14 young skiers glide down the mountain behind him.  As they finish their descent, the skiers form a line at the bottom of the hill.  Finally, Eddie, the last man to descend, arrives at his place in the line.  Unfortunately, he misjudges the distance and skis into the man at the end of the line.  The skiers begin to fall over, like a train of dominoes, ending up in one big pile at the bottom of the hill.  Mr. Target, hearing gasps from the crowd, turns around to see the cause.  Eddie, the only skier left standing, waves his ski poles in the air: "Sorry...that was my fault!"

Eddie is about to make his first attempt at a ski jump.  He starts with the lowest ramp of 15 meters.  Climbing to the top, Eddie carefully fits his skis into the grooves and dons his face mask.  Grinning with anticipation, Eddie pushes off and successfully sails down the ramp.  Eddie looks back up the hill, pleased with his accomplishment: "Yes!  What a doddle!"  Having succeeded once at the smallest jump, Eddie now thinks he has enough experience to graduate to the next level.  He turns his eyes to the 40 meter ramp: "Right.  I think I'm ready for that bigger one."  Eddie climbs his way up to the higher ramp, still smiling.  He repeats the procedure of fitting his skis and face mask, then pushing off the seat.  His smile doesn't fade until his skis leave the ramp.  Finding himself sailing through the air for a greater distance than he expected, Eddie loses control and begins to scream.  Arms flailing, Eddie hits the ground and begins to roll.  Finally, he slides to a stop, groaning in pain, his skis left far behind.

After his last failed attempt at completing the 40 meter ski jump, Eddie is determined to try again until he succeeds.  He sits at the top of the ramp, saying aloud to himself: "No messing about this time.  Let's do it."  He pushes off, grinning as the wind hits his face.  The smile fades into a frown, however, when Eddie launches off the ramp and begins free-falling through the air.  Flailing uncontrollably, he hits the ground, losing his skis and rolling to a painful stop.  Again and again, Eddie mounts the ramp, only to have the same results.  His falls become more and more spectacular until, finally, he lies on the ground, groaning in pain.

Peary has come to visit Eddie in the hospital.  The young man is sleeping, his face covered with bruises and his neck in a brace after his failed attempt to jump the 70 meter ski ramp.  Peary sees Eddie's book on the night stand and begins to read.  In the book, Peary's former coach mentions him by name: "Peary was the most naturally gifted ski-jumper I ever trained.  And he's also my biggest disappointment.  He should have been my greatest champion, but his focus was not always on the mountain.  He never understood that a true Olympian was not just about a God-given skill set.  It's about never giving up, no matter what."  Peary finds his eyes drawn to the boy in the bed...a boy with much less skill, but possessing a determination that Peary could only dream of.  He continues reading: "Knowing that doing your best is the only option, even if it results in failure."  Peary looks back at the boy.  Then, leaning back, he looks at himself in the mirror, not liking what he sees.  His coach's words ring in his ears: "Bronson Peary was my biggest disappointment."

Eddie and Peary are preparing to train for the Olympic team.  Peary looks forward to the challenge, but Eddie is a little nervous: "I was kicked off every team I was ever on before I even got a chance to prove myself."  Peary, an Olympic champion himself: "Believe it or not, I do know what it's like to be written off, Eddie."  Eddie tells his coach that he spent a year in the hospital as a child, suffering from bad knees.  Eddie: "All the doctors said I should give up sport, take up reading."  The first book Eddie read was a book about the Olympics.  It challenged him to want to rise above the opinions of others and the weakness of his own body and find a way to "prove them all wrong."

Eddie has just learned that he must increase his jump by 20 meters in order to qualify for the Olympic team.  Peary has agreed to train the young man and they begin by practicing Eddie's landing.  Over and over again, Eddie jumps from a step ladder, landing on wobbly legs in the snow.  Peary: "It's not better.  It's crap."  Next, Eddie jumps over a series of hurdles, knocking them over and falling to the ground.  After that, Peary rigs Eddie into a harness and has him balance on one foot on a log.  Eddie fails to stand up even once.  Finally, Eddie is told to balance on two tight ropes.  Again, he tries and quickly fails: "It's more difficult than I expected."  After a few such training sessions, Eddie begins competing in the European circuit.  In the first competition, he beats his personal best, but still fails to qualify.  Bjorn, the Norwegian coach, mocks Peary: "You're a disgrace to the sport."  Peary and Eddie, however, aren't daunted: "Personal best!"  They keep practicing, and each time, Eddie improves a little.  As the practices improve, the competitions improve.  Finally, at the final competition, Eddie makes a jump long enough to qualify for the Olympics.

It is Eddie's turn for the 90 meter jump in the 1988 Winter Olympics at Calgary.  He has never before attempted to jump such a long distance.  He sits at the top of the ramp, looking down at the steep slope and the crowd watching from below.  In his head, he hears the voices of people in his past who told him he could never be an Olympian.  "Eddie, you are not an athlete!"  "You tried your best, but it wasn't good enough, was it?"  "You will never be Olympic material."  Eddie has sat still so long that the spectators and commentators have begun to speculate that he may have decided not to jump.  Suddenly, Eddie snaps out of his reverie and pushes off the platform.  As he sails down the slope, his parents watch from home, gasps of amazement on their faces.  His coach watches from below, wearing the same expression.  The commentators, inspired by Eddie's determination, are cheering just as loudly for the young man.  Even the rival teams find themselves unable to help themselves from rooting for the courageous underdog.  Near the bottom of the jump, Eddie's arms start to flail.  He lands, falling almost flat onto his back.  However, with his skis still planted on the ground, he has a chance to redeem his jump if he can somehow make it back into a standing position.  Crying aloud from exertion, Eddie pulls himself back upright, earning the ecstatic cheers of the world.
