ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 4,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  part of the ScreenVue Vault.

All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Tommy is one of tens of thousands of soldiers lined up on the beach and waiting to be evacuated from besieged France.  The soldiers stand in quiet, orderly lines, hoping for a ship to come in soon.  Suddenly, the sound of an incoming fighter plane is heard.  Stuck on the beach like sitting ducks, the men begin to run, but there is nowhere to go.  As the planes drop their bombs, the men dive to the sand.  Tommy tries to cover his head with his hands.  Bombs begin to hit the ground a short distance from Tommy.  One by one, they fall closer and closer.  Men that were standing on the beach moments before are now gone.  Now, if the pattern continues, Tommy is next.  But, just as suddenly as they began, the bombs stop.  The soldiers stand up and re-form their lines.

Mr. Dawson and his son, sailing their private yacht, come across a sight that makes their jaws drop.  A lone soldier is seated on the upturned hull of a massive sunken ship, marooned in the middle of the open sea.  Working quickly, the men maneuver their boat close enough for the soldier to swim to them.  After hauling the man onboard, they wrap him in a blanket and try to discern his identity.  Wracked with cold and paralyzed by the trauma of his recent experience, the man is unable to answer them.

The evacuated soldiers are onboard the ship that has rescued them, enjoying tea and toast.  Outside, all alone, stands the French soldier, staring out at the water.  Suddenly, he begins to hear voices coming from the water.  "Don't leave us!"  "Wait for us!"  "Help!"  "Help us!"  "Pick us up!" The Frenchman looks out into the darkness and sees several lifeboats filled with other stranded soldiers.  The soldiers are rowing furiously toward the ship, begging to be rescued from the open sea.  Just then, a torpedo is sighted heading straight for the ship.  As the soldiers and nurses laugh and eat in the belly of the ship, the torpedo strikes.  Water gushes through a hole, quickly filling the ship.  The lights go out, leaving everyone inside in darkness, the water speedily rising around them.  On the deck of the ship, the Frenchman is about to abandon ship when he hears voices crying out for help from down below.  Everyone inside the ship is trapped underwater, unable to see the exit in the darkness.  Hesitating only a moment, the Frenchman climbs up the sinking ship to the door, risking his own life to save the others.  When he opens the door, the drowning soldiers see the shaft of light.  Many are able to swim toward the light and find safety.

A torpedo has just taken out the ship and the survivors are treading water in the open sea (see scene #CV09529).  Several lifeboats full of men are floating in the water.  A couple of survivors swim toward one of the boats, reaching out their hands to be taken aboard.  One of the soldiers shoves them away: "P--s off, the both of you!  It's too crowded!"  Alex, desperately: "You can't leave us!  Make some room!"  Soldier, still pushing away their outreached hands: "No!  Get off!"  An officer hears the commotion and agrees with the soldier, telling the men they will capsize the lifeboat.  He advises them to stay calm, conserve their strength, and wait for them to come back.

Peter and his father watch from their yacht as a British plane falls toward the ocean.  Inside the plane, Collins prepares himself to crash land on the water.  The impact doesn't injure him, but Collins quickly discovers that it has jammed the plane hatch closed.  Water begins quickly filling the cockpit.  Onboard the yacht, Mr. Dawson begins to steer the boat toward the crash site, not knowing if Collins is dead or alive.  Peter tries to talk him out of it, worried that the additional trip will add unnecessary stress on the engine: "Dad, he's down.  There was no 'chute."  Mr. Dawson doesn't answer, but continues to doggedly steer the boat toward the downed plane.  Peter: "Dad, come on.  There was no 'chute!  He's probably dead."  Mr. Dawson, almost desperately: "D--n it, I hear you, Peter!  I hear you!  He may be alive!  Maybe.  We may be able to help him."  (Caution: d-word used)
