ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

When Grump insults Petey, Li'l Petey gently defends him: "You shouldn't say that, Grampa."  Grump: "Why?  What do you care?"  Li'l Petey: "He's my Papa.  I love him."  Grump laughs bitterly: "Love?  Like I feel something!"  Li'l Petey: "Love isn't just something you feel, Grampa.  Love is something you do."  Li'l Petey hands his papa the screwdriver he dropped.  Petey looks touched.


The Chief sits Dog Man down in front of a display of monitors: "You're on thin ice, Dog Man, so don't mess this up!"  Dog Man is in the doghouse after Petey's most recent escape and he has been demoted to guard duty.  His only responsibility: to make sure no one steals the evil mecha-fish Flippy.  The Chief warns Dog Man that he is not, under any circumstances, ever to take his eyes off the monitors.  To prove his point, the Chief tests him, holding up various things he knows will tempt Dog Man.  First, he squeaks Dog Man's favorite chew toy.  Dog Man looks over with a small smile, but the Chief orders him back to the monitors.  Next, the Chief holds out a bone.  Dog Man's eyes are immediately drawn towards it.  He whimpers, his tongue hanging out.  Behind him, the evil Petey is seen on the monitors, making his way towards the fish vault.  The Chief, unaware of Petey's presence, orders Dog Man to look back at the monitors.  But, when the Chief pulls out Dog Man's kryptonite--a gray squirrel--everything falls apart.  Dog Man forgets everything except the squirrel and begins to chase it.  The Chief pulls him back, threatening the loss of his job.  Dog Man turns back to the monitors, but, by then, Petey has already stolen the fish.


Newscaster Sarah narrates a montage of Dog Man, the heroic super cop, repeatedly thwarting the schemes of arch-criminal Petey. The cycle is relentless—Petey devises ingenious contraptions to defeat his nemesis, starting with a colossal vacuum, but Dog Man braves the suction, rescues Petey from drowning, and promptly hauls him off to Cat Jail. Undeterred, Petey enlists the help of the hulking convict Big Jim, who launches him over the prison walls. Thus begins the inevitable pattern—Petey escapes, Dog Man captures him, and the chase starts anew. Petey throws everything he has at his canine adversary, from the bone-flinging catapult, the Make No Bones 2000, to an arsenal of increasingly absurd devices, including the Love It or Leash It 2000, the Crate Expectations 2000, and the infamous Butt Sniffer 2000. Yet, no matter how devious his inventions, Dog Man always emerges victorious, ensuring that justice prevails and evil never wins.


Li'l Petey finds himself alone, abandoned by his father in a cardboard box.  He sadly drags his box down the sidewalk, looking for a place to rest.  He puts the box down in the middle of a street, curling up to go to sleep and trying not to be afraid.  Dog Man, watching from above, sees that a truck is barreling down the street towards the box.  He runs to the rescue, leaping off the building at great risk to himself and dragging the kitten to safety.  He and the kitten form an instant bond and he brings the little one home.  He fills Petey's box with warm stuffing and places it next to his own bed.  As the kitten lays down in the soft cushion, Dog Man reads him a book.  The kitten begins to snore but is awakened when Dog Man lies down in his dog bed.  Li'l Petey climbs in with him, kneading his fur with his paws.  The two new friends go to sleep in happy comfort.  


Li'l Petey innocently asks Flippy why he's trying to destroy Robo Cat.  Flippy tells the kitten that Robo Cat is trying to stop him from destroying the city.  But, when Li'l Petey questions why Flippy would want to cause such mayhem, Flippy is forced to do some introspection.  He admits his destructive behavior stems from his deep-rooted childhood pain.  Flippy: "No one likes me, do they?  No one's ever liked me.  Even back when I was in the school.  All the other fish, they used to call me Fatty Fish Face."  Flippy begins to cry.  Li'l Petey: "Maybe you just need a friend."  The kitten shows Flippy the book he drew for him.  In Li'l Petey's story, the kitten and the evil fish are friends, going on adventures and eating soup.  The tot's tale touches Flippy.  He weeps.  Li'l Petey hugs him and comforts him.  And, with that expression of love, Flippy's evil powers fade away.

Petey, ever the villain, has Li'l Petey duct-taped to a makeshift high chair, lecturing the tiny clone on his supposed destiny to be a miserable evildoer. Eager to please but clueless about what any of it means, Li'l Petey cheerfully agrees. Before leaving for an important mission, Petey orders the kitten to stay put, unknowingly triggering every parent's worst nightmare—the infinite loop of "why?" Li'l Petey questions everything: why he can't go, why he's not ready, why it's serious business. Exasperated, Petey stomps off to his flying contraption, only to freeze in shock when he finds Li'l Petey sitting beside him. More protests follow, but the kitten remains unfazed, endlessly asking "why?" and calling him "Papa" despite Petey’s grumbling refusals. When Li'l Petey proudly presents a homemade book of their adventures together, Petey scoffs and tosses it out the window. The interruptions continue—Li'l Petey suddenly has to go potty, and Petey dismisses the request, still consumed by frustration. But the real trouble begins when the kitten, despite warnings, can't resist pressing every button in sight, nearly sending them both into disaster. At his breaking point, Petey erupts—he never wanted a kid, never asked for one, doesn't need one! But Li'l Petey, giggling mischievously, simply presses more buttons, sending them into further chaos.

Dimwitted Officer Knight and his smart dog Greg are trying to diffuse a bomb on top of an abandoned warehouse.  Knight tries to determine which colored wire to cut, "Green means go, red means ripe, unless it's an apple.  A red apple's ripe..." Greg points at the blue wire with his nose.  But Officer Knight misunderstands, cutting the green wire and blowing up the warehouse.  Later, in the hospital, the two are given the bad news: Knight's head is "just no good anymore," and Greg's body is in the same shape.  The doctor and nurse put their heads together and come up with a brilliant solution: "What if we sew the dog's head onto the man's body?"  And so, they do, inadvertently creating Dog Man, super cop.


When the Chief takes Dog Man off the case, he feels like a failure.  He walks home alone, his head hanging.  When he arrives, he finds his face on the front page of the newspaper with a caption reading: "Supa Loser."  If possible, his shoulders sag even lower.  He turns on some music, playing Hank Williams's "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry."  And, while the sorrowful tunes fill the house, Dog Man lifts his head and begins to howl along. 


Li'l Petey has programmed 80HD to bring his grandfather home to the lab.  Petey stares in shocked horror as the father who deserted him as a child walks into the building.  To make matters worse, instead of being excited to meet his grandson and be reunited with his son, Grump immediately begins to complain.  Petey, bitterly: "Why did you bring him here?"  Li'l Petey: "I'm sorry, Papa.  I just wanted you to have your papa back."  Petey, angrily: "My papa?  That guy abandoned me!  Do you have any idea what that feels like?"  Li'l Petey, with no rancor: "Yes."  Petey looks chagrined, knowing he left Li'l Petey in the same situation.  Li'l Petey: "And I forgave you."  


Losing Dog Man has cast a shadow over Li'l Petey's once bright and cheerful perspective, replacing his boundless optimism with a cynicism that mirrors his father’s. As they walk together down the street, Li'l Petey sees only decay in the world that once brought him joy.  "You were right, Papa," he murmurs. "The world... it's nothing but mud puddles and pollution and weeds. Look, even the weeds are dying." Petey watches his son, uneasy with the transformation taking place before him. He doesn’t want Li'l Petey to lose the light that made him special. Gently, he urges him to look up at the sky, where stars gleam against the darkness. Their brilliance is undeniable, shining despite the troubles of the world. Petey turns to his son, his voice steady but warm. "This world has a lot of problems, but it can never be a horrible place. 'Cause you're in it." And for the first time in a long while, Petey smiles at his son.


The evil cat Petey wants to clone himself in order to have a partner in his crimes.  Eagerly, he reads the instructions for the newly arrived cloning machine he ordered online.  Following them closely, he plucks out one of his own whiskers and drops it into the machine.  He starts the machine, waiting with anticipation as it goes to work.  When the bell dings, he opens the door with a wicked cackle.  But, his smile fades as, instead of an exact replica of himself in all its evil glory, he sees a small and cute kitten.  The kitten smiles up at him trustingly.  Petey is confused, only then reading the final step of the instructions: "Step four.  Wait 18 years for your clone to reach adulthood?!?"  Petey looks for the Undo button, but realizes he must order it separately.  As he places the order, a small voice sounds, "Papa?"  Petey recoils as the kitten leaps into his arms: "Who are you talking to?"  Kitten, repeating: "Papa."  Petey: "I am not your Papa!"  The kitten begins to wail, crying huge tears.  Petey holds him at arms' length, clearly disgusted: "I want my whisker back!"  The kitten continues to cry.  Petey: "I want my money back!"  Petey tries everything he can think of to block out the jarring sound of his crying child.  But nothing works.  Petey, screaming: "I want my life back!"


Angry over Petey’s prison break, the Mayor storms into Chief’s office and demands, “Dog Man has got to go!” When Chief defends him, the Mayor snaps, hands him a number, and insists he call. To Chief’s shock, the person on the line simply says, “Life’s not fair…”
