ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

My friend was sad, I was just cheering him up."  Shark, amazed: "You…you did a good thing!  For me!"  Snake: "Don't be ridiculous.  I just put your needs before my own."  Tarantula: "Yeah.  You're being good."  Snake: "I'm not.  I was simply making a sacrifice so Shark could be happy."  Tarantula: "That is the actual definition of being good!"  Shark and the others: "You, the worst one of us, the most selfish, spiteful, terrible, sneaky, dishonest..."  Snake: "And your point is?"  Tarantula: "I think Wolf was right.  Maybe we can be more than just scary villains."  At that hopeful thought, all of their tails begin to wag.  The villains are filled with joy at the idea that they could be transformed for the good.  Only Snake wants to fight against their newfound conscience: "No!  We'll always be bad guys!"


Professor Marmalade believes that people can change for the good.  He addresses the hardened criminals, the Bad Guys: "On the outside, the five of you are villains, predators, remorseless sociopaths…"  Shark, proudly: "Oh, stop it.  You're making me blush."  Professor, continuing: "But, inside there's a flower -- the flower of goodness -- and, when it blooms, and you feel that tingle of positivity radiating through your body, you're going to want to feel it all the time."  Tarantula, confused: "So, we're going for a tingle?"  Professor: "Not any tingle.  The tingle of goodness."  The professor has devised a plan to teach the Bad Guys to be good.  For their first lesson, he hands Snake a Push-Pop, his favorite treat.  Snake grabs it eagerly: "Push-Pop, just for me!"  Professor: "No, to share."  Snake, glaring: "Why?"  Professor: "On a fundamental level, it's about putting someone else's needs ahead of your own."  The professor gestures to Shark, who smiles broadly.  Snake at first refuses to share, but Wolf convinces him.  He slithers reluctantly over to Shark, who is gloating: "This is gonna taste extra sweet, 'cause I know how bad you want it!"  Snake, with beads of sweat pouring off his face and tail quivering with the effort, forces himself to hold the Push-Pop out to Shark's open maw.  But, at the last second, he gives in to his desire and swallows the treat himself: "Sucker!"  Shark, angrily: "I'll teach you to share!"  He stuffs Snake in his mouth, rubbing his belly: "I like sharing.  It's yummy."  Professor, mouth agape: "Well, that's terrifying."


Wolf is explaining to his crew of thieves why he has begun to have a change of heart.  He tells them how he was trying to steal an old lady's purse when she fell and, instead of stealing the purse, he helped her.  (See clip # CV11198)  Snake, disgusted: "What?"  Wolf, sheepishly: "I kind of helped her."  Piranha: "But...then you stole the purse?"  Wolf: "No.  I saved the old lady and then she hugged me and my tail wagged, and I don't know what it was, but it felt... uh...you know...good."  The crew gasps in shock.  Piranha: "Ah.  But then...you stole the purse?"  Crew, together: "No!"

As the Bad Guys are making their getaway after stealing the Golden Dolphin, Wolf's disguise slips and they are discovered.  In an instant, they are surrounded by dozens of police officers.  The Chief points an accusing finger at the crew: "They stole the Golden Dolphin!"  Wolf, casually leaning against Shark: "You can't prove that."  The statue falls out of Shark's dress in full view of the crowd.  Chief, cracking her knuckles: "On your knees, Bad Guys, with your hands up!"  Snake: "Never!  We're outta here!"  Wolf grins, setting in motion their pre-arranged method of escape.  He fires a grappling hook at the skylight.  The other end of the hook is attached to his pants.  The gang grabs a hold of Wolf as he shouts: "So long, Suckers!"  But, instead of pulling them to safety, the hook merely pulls off Wolf's pants.  He stands sheepishly in heart-covered boxer shorts: "Well, this just got a little weird."


Professor Marmalade is continuing his lessons on how to be good (see clip # CV11201).  He leads the Bad Guys to a tree, where a kitten is trapped high in the branches and asks them what they think is the right thing to do.  Snake: "Eating it?  This is why I always carry two pieces of bread with me."  Professor, giving them a hint: "No.  I want you to sss---"  Wolf: "Smack it!"  Snake: "Skin it?"  Shark: "Stab it."  Tarantula: "Sauté it."  Piranha: "Sing to it?"  Professor, obviously frustrated at their lack of perception: "Save it!  I want you to save it!"  Bad Guys, together: "Oh!  Right."  They look up at the frightened kitten and start to coax it to come down.  But their natural ferocious expressions, with glaring eyes and jagged teeth, only cause the kitten to climb higher.  Snake: "That cat is obviously defective."


Mr. Snake's plan reveals Professor Marmalade's true nature to the world...

Wolf is walking down the stairs behind an elderly woman when he spots a stack of cash sticking out of her purse.  But, as he reaches to steal the money, the lady trips, and is only prevented from falling by Wolf's grip on her purse straps.  Wolf sighs, realizing his hope of remaining discreet is lost, and helps the woman to regain her balance: "Are you okay, ma'am?"  The woman, who has no idea that Wolf was actually attempting to steal from her, embraces him gratefully: "I'm alive, thanks to you!"  She takes his paws into her hands and pats them: "Thank you, dear.  You're such a good boy."  As Wolf watches her walk away, his tail begins to wag of its own accord.  He tries to hide it, embarrassed at the outward display of happiness, but he cannot stop it.  For the first time, he knows what it feels to be good.


The Bad Guys and the Crimson Paw jump into action to stop Professor Marmalade's heist.


Mr. Wolf and Diane Foxington walk right into Professor Marmalade's trap!


When Wolf sees that Kitty is again trapped in the tree, he decides to try and save her.  As he climbs the tall trunk, he talks to her gently, knowing that she is naturally afraid of his ferocious appearance.  Wolf: "I get that a lot, first impressions and all."  Kitty is so frightened that she falls out of the tree and Wolf has to bend over backwards to catch her.  He gently places her back on the tree branch hoping she will decide on her own to let him save her.  He holds out a paw for her to sniff: "Just give me a chance."  Kitty sniffs his paw and he scratches behind her ear.  Slowly, she begins to trust him and allows him to hold her.  As she curls up contentedly in his paws, purring, Wolf feels a shiver of delight that finally someone has looked past his scary appearance and seen what was in his heart.


The Crimson Paw - the best bad guy the world has ever seen - comes to the Bad Guys' rescue.

As the Chief leads Wolf in handcuffs to the police van, an idea brews in the villain's head.  He turns to Governor Foxington: "You've really got us pegged.  We're just a deep well of anger and self-loathing.  Sadly, we were never given a chance to be anything more than second-rate criminals.  If only there was someone who could help the flower of goodness inside us blossom.  Some icon of love and forgiveness like...Mother Teresa."  He looks pointedly at Professor Marmalade, the famous philanthropist.  The Chief, having no patience for Wolf's shenanigans, starts to throw him in the back of the van, but is stopped by the Professor.  Professor: "Mr. Wolf may be a savage beast, basically walking garbage -- sorry, I'm making a point -- but how can we say they're hopeless if they've never been given a chance?"  The Professor suggests an experiment, a test to determine if the bad guys can be reformed.  The Chief is horrified: "Madame Governor, you can't just let them go!"  Wolf, throwing the Governor's words back in her face: "I seem to remember that a wise person once said, 'Even trash can be recycled into something beautiful.'"  The Governor agrees to the experiment.  Professor, declaring to the assembled crowd: "I, Rupert Marmalade the fourth, will turn the Bad Guys into...the Good Guys!"

In attempting to steal the Golden Dolphin at a fundraiser, the Bad Guys think fast with a great distraction that everyone will fall for: music and dancing!

Wolf and the crew have just finished saving the city from the Professor when they find themselves cornered by the Chief and the entire police force.  Normally, they would have found a way to escape.  However, the thieves have repented from their past life.  Wolf: "We're done running away."  Wolf, Shark, Snake, Piranha, and Tarantula all put out their wrists to be cuffed.  Wolf, continuing: "Chief, do what you need to do."  Chief is stunned: "What?  You're turning yourself in?"  Wolf: "We might not have stolen the meteorite, but we did steal a lot of other things.  It's time we took some responsibility, start a clean slate.  Take us in, Chief."  The Chief can do nothing but stare open-mouthed at the thieves she has devoted her career to catch.


Mr. Wolf introduces the entire Bad Guy crew.
