ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

A view of Earth from space shows the dramatic effect of the total darkness.  But the most dramatic effect is, perhaps, for Jack.  When the lights on his block go completely dark, he reaches an intersection at the same time as a city bus.  Blinded, they collide, and Jack goes flying onto the concrete.


It is the day of Jack's first major concert and Rocky is about to lead him out onto the stage.  Rocky stops before opening the door: "Can I just say, for a long time, I didn't really know why I'd been born.  Felt a bit pointless.  But now I do know.  I was born to serve the greatest musician of all time.  It is my honor now to open this door for the moment the entire world has been waiting for."  The two embrace and Rocky opens the door.  They see nothing but a fire escape and a tall fence.  Rocky: "Wrong door."  Sheepishly, Rocky leads Jack back through the building to another door.  Jack exits to find tens of thousands of screaming fans waiting for him.  (Caution: h-word used)


When Jack announces that he has written a number of new songs, his parents ask to hear one.  With lukewarm enthusiasm, they sit down to listen as Jack begins playing the piano.  Smiling politely, they sit through the first measure of "Let it Be," until the doorbell rings.  Jack stops, turning to look at his father.  Jed, mildly: "Good start.  Very pretty."  Family friend Terry enters the room and is invited to hear Jack's new song, "Leave it Be."  Jack, correcting them: "Let it Be."  Terry feigns enthusiasm while Jack begins again.  Before Jack can even complete the first line, Jed turns to Terry, asking loudly if he'd like a drink.  Jack, frustrated, stops playing: "Dad!"  Jed: "What?  I'd already heard that bit."  Jack tries to start again, but finds it difficult amid the comings and goings to the kitchen.  Jack, clearly feeling slighted: "Is everyone all settled?"  Sheila, impatiently, as if Jack has been the source of all the interruptions: "Yes!  Hurry it up, darling, you're losing the crowd."  Again, Jack begins, singing for several seconds before Terry's phone rings.  He stops and listens while Terry talks to Marge: "I'm just at Jed and Sheila's house, listening to Jack's new song, 'Let Him Be.'"  Marge says something on her end, to which Terry responds: "No, well, apparently he's started up again."  Marge says something else.  Terry, his voice now sounding both disappointed and sympathetic: "Yeah.  Yeah, I know.  I know.  I know.  I know."  Jack stares, knowing Terry and Marge are talking about his lackluster musical career right in front of him.  Terry, seeing that Jack is listening, quickly hangs up and asks Jack to start again.  Jed, quickly: "Maybe start after the first bit.  I've heard it three times now."  Annoyed, Jack tells them he's starting at the top.  Jack has just begun to play when Jed interrupts, requesting a different song.  Jack pounds the keys in disgust. (Caution: Jesus' name misused)

After Ellie rejects what she believed was a one-night stand with Jack, the two meet up in a café where Ellie continues her rejection as she pours out her heart... "I've been waiting half my life for you to wake up and love me... I'm just a school teacher and you're the world's greatest singer/song writer..."

After Jack realizes his complicated feelings for Ellie, she joins him in Liverpool and they share a drunken evening and kiss in a hotel room. But before things go any further, she tells him she is not interested in a one-night stand and leaves.

After the concert in Moscow, where Jack opens for Ed Sheeran, Sheeran challenges Jack to a songwriting duel. After Jack writes and plays "The Long and Winding Road," Sheeran graciously accepts defeat.

Jack is very suddenly becoming a world-famous pop star.  His manager introduces him to Hilary: "She's gonna be working with you on your image."  Jack: "Do I have to have an image?"  Debra: "Well, if you don't have an image, then the lack of image becomes an image."  Hilary, looking Jack up and down in disgust: "And the music sounds so joyful, it would be a shame to let it down by you being so...off-putting."  Debra tells Jack the plan to rocket him to stardom is to release several songs online before completing a full album.  In the next scene, we see Jack, standing in front of several gigantic computer screens.  The songs have been released and Jack's fame is spreading like wildfire.  On one screen, a number count speeds into the tens of millions as Jack's songs are downloaded by the masses.  Huge hearts show how much his music is "liked" by fans on social media.  Jack watches in amazement as the screens show him becoming an internet sensation.  He sees reporters doing stories about his life, interviewing people from his past.  He sees photos of himself everywhere.  He sees people from all over the world posting rave reviews of his music.  Literally, before his own eyes, Jack is famous.


Ed Sheeran's ruthless manager, Debra Hammer, bullies Jack into signing to her label - being overly blunt and honest: "We need you to come to L.A. You see, we pay, and then you come, and you write songs, and then we release them and you make a ton of money...and then we take most of it.  I have a question. Is this the best that you can look?"

While Jack performs at Wembley Stadium he confesses to the crowd that he plagiarized the music and loves Ellie, and has Rocky upload the songs free on the internet, sabotaging the record release and enraging Debra.

Jack is recording a new song in Ed Sheeran's recording studio, "Hey Jude." Ed, however, isn't convinced of the name in the song, and has a better idea: "Jude is a bit old fashioned. ...Now, let me just give you this advice. Song title - and I won't charge you a penny for it, as well - "Hey Dude."

After Jack realizes that he is now living in a world where the Beatles never existed, he begins performing Beatles songs, passing them off as his own - which rocket in popularity!

Jack Malik is a struggling singer-songwriter from Lowestoft who plays gigs to tiny audiences. His manager and childhood friend Ellie Appleton encourages him not to give up on his dreams. During a twelve-second global power outage, Jack is hit by a bus. After recovering, he sings the Beatles song "Yesterday" for his friends and discovers they have never heard of the Beatles. (Caution: h-word, bloody used)

Debra, manager to the stars, has invited Jack, her newest sensation, to her mansion on the beach.  Debra, coldly blunt, looks Jack up and down: "Well…you're not very attractive."  Jack, mildly embarrassed: "No."  Debra: "You are out of shape."  Jack: "Yes."  Debra: "You are skinny, yet somehow round."  Jack, looking confused: "Uh-huh."  Debra: "You have been profoundly unsuccessful for ten years."  Jack, perhaps wondering when this will end: "Yep."  Debra: "And, until a month ago, we'd call you a complete failure."  Jack, feeling she's crossed a line: "Well, that's not quite how I'd put it..."  Debra, with emphasis: "We would say that you were a complete failure."


Jack has come to meet John Lennon at his modest home by the sea.  (In an alternate reality, John never became famous, but instead lived an average life of relative obscurity and was therefore never assassinated.)  Jack: "Have you had a happy life?"  John, handing Jack a cup of tea: "Very."  Jack: "But not successful."  John: "I just said, 'very happy.'  That means successful.  Did a job I enjoyed, day after day.  Sailed the world.  Fought for things I believed in, and won, couple of times.  Found a woman I loved.  Fought hard to keep her, too.  Lived my life with her."  John tells Jack that, even though his love was complicated: "It all turned out just...fab."  John asks Jack if there is someone he loves.  Jack tells him that his love life has been utterly unsuccessful.  John: "You want a good life?  It's not complicated.  Tell the girl you love that you love her.  And tell the truth to everyone, whenever you can."


Jack performs "Back in the USSR" in modern-day Russia.

Jack screams his emotions into "Help!" as he sees Ellie with her new boyfriend.
