ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Nate and Chloe are trapped in an underground chamber that is filling quickly with water.  They need Sully to turn his key in the above-ground slot in order to open the hatch for them to escape.  But Sully is busy fighting off the murderous Braddock and can't take the time to use his key.  Chloe and Nate frantically try to find another way out of their prison, but they are unable to.  Nate, using an earpiece to communicate with Sully: "It's now or never, buddy!  We're running out of options down here!"  Within moments the chamber is completely filled with water and Nate and Chloe are submerged.  Finally, Sully is able to overpower Braddock and use his key.  The hatch opens and Nate and Chloe are freed.  (Caution: violence, h-word, d-word, b-word.  To avoid all language, begin clip at 0:55:00) 


A wealthy young woman is sitting outside the bar.  Nate approaches her, casually flirting.  He takes out his lighter and reaches to light her cigarette.  As he flicks the inoperative lighter, he deftly moves his other hand to steal the diamond bracelet from her wrist.  He goes back into the bar, his theft undetected by his victim.  As he moves down the row of tables, picking up the last few remaining glasses, he passes by the last bar patron.  Man: "That trust fund ingénue...she was the right mark."  Nate, lying: "Don't know what you're talking about."  The man, Victor, offers Nate a job.  Nate declines, telling Victor to leave.  Victor complies, giving Nate one last look before heading out the door.  Nate walks up to the bar to order a beer.  He reaches for his wallet in his back pocket.  It is gone.  In its place is Victor's business card.  On the back is written: "Thou shalt not steal."


Nate and Chloe are in the secret passageways behind the church, searching for the way to Magellan's lost gold.  They come to a place where the tunnel diverges into two different paths.  Nate sees that one path has an arrow pointing down it.  He votes to take that path.  But Chloe sees that the other path has the symbol over it for the Eye of Providence and she wants to take that one: "I say we go with God."  Nate, disagreeing: "But there's literally an arrow that points this way."  Chloe, heading down the path of her choice: "Suit yourself."  Nate, turning down the other path: "I'm gonna go this way."  He walks only a couple of steps before three spears shoot out of the wall and almost skewer him.  He turns to follow Chloe: "We should go your way."


Nate wakes from unconsciousness to find himself plummeting towards the ocean from the back of a cargo plane.  He opens groggy eyes to find his senses immediately assaulted by strange sensations.  Air is rushing around him, his body is apparently floating in the air, and several men fall from the sky above him, screaming.  He rolls over to look, still unsure of his surroundings.  When he sees nothing but ocean below him, he is jolted completely awake by fear.  He looks around, seeing his foot is caught in the straps of a large cargo box.  It is the only thing keeping him from following the men towards the ocean.  The plane's cargo door is open and a trail of strapped boxes streams out the back.  At this point, they are still attached to the plane, but their situation is precarious.  Nate tries to reach for the straps of his box, but the effort dislodges his foot.  He falls backward quickly, managing to save himself by grabbing a hold of one of the other boxes.  He starts to pull himself forward along the chain of boxes, leaping from one to the other, trying to make it back to the plane.  Just when he thinks it might be possible, a villain appears with a gun.  Nate kicks him, and the man falls towards the ocean.  A second armed man appears and begins to fire on Nate.  Nate works his way up the chain of boxes and they struggle together until another large box falls out of the plane and strikes the man.  Next, the straps holding the chain of boxes start to snap until they are held by only a thread.  Nate leaps just as the last thread breaks.  He lands in the back of the cargo plane.  He has only a moment to think his troubles are over.  A red sports car speeds out of the back of the plane, striking Nate and pushing him back out into the open air.  He freefalls towards the water, hands flailing, no hope left.  Suddenly, a hand reaches out from nowhere and grabs his.  (Caution: God's name used in vain)


Sully is piloting a helicopter that is carrying an old ship full of gold.  Braddock is in another, with a second ship of gold.  But Braddock isn't content with one ship.  She wants them both.  She orders her pilot to turn their ship towards Sully.  Sully, warning Nate, who is on the deck of his ship: "You gotta do something.  They're coming right at us!"  Nate: "I think I have an idea."  He grabs a cannonball and loads a cannon with gunpowder.  Sully, seeing what he's doing, is incredulous: "That's your idea!"  With the other ship quickly bearing down on him, Nate lights the gunpowder and waits.  At first, it seems as if the cannon won't work, and Braddock is almost within firing range.  But, suddenly, the cannon explodes, sending the ball straight at Braddock's helicopter.  It bursts into flames and the ship crashes into a rock formation.  Sully, amazed: "You did it, kid.  You did it."  (Caution: s-word spoken, but garbled)


Nate and Chloe are in an underground antechamber.  On the other side of a locked door is a room they believe is full of gold.  Nate puts his key in the slot in the door, but it won't open.  Chloe calls up to Sully, who is aboveground: "We're missing something!  See if you can find anything up there."  Sully walks over to the fountain where he sees a carving that resembles a ladder.  Sully holds his key up to the carving, comparing them: "I think it's the two keys put together."  Nate: "Throw your key down!"  But Sully is instantly suspicious: "You two think you're gonna double-cross me?"  Nate: "You want the stupid key or you want the gold?  Throw it down!"  Sully: "You ain't gonna play me!"  Chloe doesn't think Sully will ever trust them enough to give them his key but she is proven wrong.  Sully throws down the key and Nate combines it with his own.  The two keys work and the door opens, revealing an enormous room with four giant urns.

Nate and Sam are in a museum, looking at the first map of the world.  Sam tells his brother that the famed explorer Magellan was looking for gold when he died.  Nate: "So all that gold, it's just gone?"  Sam quickly corrects his brother: "Lost.  Not gone.  There's a difference.  If something's lost, it can be found."  The boys remember how their parents used to tell them about their supposed ancestor, Sir Francis Drake.  The thought sobers both, reminding the orphaned boys of their loss.  Nate: "Sometimes I think they're out there somewhere.  Like, they're just lost."  Sam, firmly: "They're not lost.  They're gone."
