ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Information about the licenses and subscriptions that you purchase from us including your method of payment.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Famous superhero movie director, Jade Wilson, is hosting the premier of the latest Batman movie.  The premier, attended exclusively by superheroes, is packed.  Before the show starts, Jade sends out a shout to the featured hero, Batman: "You deserve it!"  Batman, feigning humility, shakes his head.  Jade: "Yes, you do.  Yes, you do!"  Batman, shedding all pretense, fist-bumps Commissioner Gordon.  Jade turns to the crowd of heroes: "You know who else deserves it?  All of you!  It doesn't matter how obscure you are.  You're all getting a movie!  You want a sneak peak?"  A preview begins to play on the big screen:  "Coming this summer..."  A huge letter "R" comes into focus as the announcer speaks: "From the shadows of Batman comes a hero..."  Robin, from his seat in the front row, begins to shiver in excitement: "It's finally happening!  They're going to make a movie about me!"  The camera pans back, revealing the "R" to be in the middle of a name: "Alfred The Movie.  The ultimate grime fighter."  Robin scowls as he sees Batman's butler getting star recognition before himself, Batman's sidekick.  Beast Boy, encouraging his friend: "Don't worry, brah.  If Alfred got a movie, you must be next!"  Robin, smiling: "My movie must be slated for next summer!"  Just then, a second preview appears on screen: "Coming next summer, a new hero will light up the night."  Robin, fists clenched: "Please be me!  Please be me!"  Announcer: "It's...the car!"  A shot of the Batmobile, Batman's car, appears on the big screen.  Cyborg, sympathetic: "Ooh, they did the car before you, bro!"  Robin: "They must be saving the best for last, then."  A third preview comes on screen: "Coming next, next summer...the story of Batman's greatest ally and best friend in the whole, wide world."  Robin fairly drools with excitement.  Unable to control himself, he rushes onstage to accept what he feels is his due recognition: "Thank you for making a movie about - -"  The announcer continues, over him: "Utility belt."  A close-up of Batman's belt shows the hero storing his wallet in it.  The audience begins to laugh and point at Robin: "He thought the movie was about him!"  Robin, crushed, runs out of the theater in tears.

The Teen Titans tell Slade they are considering him for the position of new evil archnemesis.  But Slade laughs disparagingly: "How could you be my archnemesis when you've already lost?  Because no one can withstand my powers of mind manipulation!"  The Titans gasp, staring at the foe in awe.  Slade holds up a pencil: "Look at this, an ordinary pencil, made of rigid wood and graphite..."  Slade then proceeds to perform the common "rubber pencil" illusion, shaking the pencil between thumb and forefinger to give the impression it is bendable.  Beast Boy, astounded: "Yo, that be witchcraft!"  Slade, in an ominous voice: "That's just the start of it!  You may think you have a grasp on reality, but how can you even begin to explain this?"  As the Titans stand in open-mouthed attention, Slade performs the disappearing thumb illusion.  The Titans scream, falling to their knees, somehow defeated by the child's trick.  Suddenly, Robin comes to his senses.  He turns to the Titans: "Wait, these are just tricks and optical illusions!"  Slade, pointing dramatically to a spot behind the Titans: "What's that over there?"  Robin, standing between his friends and their enemy: "Don't listen to him!  He's just trying to trick you again!"  Slade, persuasively: "What is that?"  The Titans are obviously struggling not to turn around.  Robin: "He's lying!"  Slade: "Guys, I'm serious!  Look!"  Slade is so convincing that, against their wills, even Robin is influenced to turn around and look.  Beast Boy, disappointed: "There's nothing there!"  Slade, gloating: "Made ya look!"  With their backs turned, Slade has stolen the Titan's jewel.

Robin enters his bedroom dejectedly.  He looks sadly at the framed photo of himself, smiling atop Batman's shoulders.  Flopping backward on his bed, he mulls over all the words of rejection he's heard today.  Guard: "This premiere is for superheroes only."  Superman: "You guys are goofsters."  Without realizing it, Robin falls asleep.  He begins to dream a Lion King-themed sequence.  Superheroes around the city are called to witness the great Batman announce his heir.  The great Bat Signal rises in the sky as voices sing: ♪ "Heroes, superheroes, come check this out." ♪ Swimming, flying, running, heroes from all around gather at the base of the skyscraper where Batman stands.  Reaching into his cloak, Batman pulls out a baby Robin and lifts him magnificently into the air for all to see.  The Bat Signal changes to a giant "R" in the sky, beaming down on baby Robin, who smiles.  The dramatic music comes to an abrupt halt as the Flash snorts derisively: "What?  We all gathered out here for this?"  The crowd of superheroes begins to boo: "Loser!  Loser!"  Random hero: "He's just a sidekick!"  Batman shrugs, bowing to popular opinion, and drops Robin off the side of the building.  Back in his bedroom, Robin awakes with a start: "What a nightmare."

Robin's friends have made a home movie about him in an attempt to cheer him up after his discouraging day.  But Robin won't be cheered: "I want a real movie!  No one's gonna make a movie about me.  I'm just a joke."  Robin sighs, shoulders sagging.  Cyborg, putting an arm around his friend: "You know what you need?  You need an upbeat, inspirational song about life!"  Cheesy music plays as the Titans begin to sing platitudes: ♪ "Are you feeling down?  Like you just can't make it today?"  Starfire:  "I can see your frown, but it's all gonna be okay."  Raven:  "There's no giving up.  The power's inside."   As fluffy clouds, bears, and rainbows move across the sky, the Titans sing together:  "It's the kick in the pants you needed.  This song will open up your eyes.  It's the feeling you can't be defeated.  It's an 80's song with synthy vibes.  And you know it's super upbeat.  Upbeat.  It's an upbeat inspirational song about life." ♪ And, somehow, Robin is now cheerful and encouraged: "I feel like I can do anything!"

Robin and the Titans have just returned from the past after purging the world of all superheroes.  They look around at what used to be their present world.  It is now unrecognizable chaos.  Everything is in flames, people are screaming, and villains are wreaking havoc at every turn.  Cyborg: "Without superheroes, the world has become a horrific wasteland!"  Robin (whose goal in the entire process had been to star in his own superhero movie): "Are they still making superhero movies?"  Raven, staring at a decrepit theater being crushed by a villain: "No movies.  Only suffering."

When Jade announces her decision to drop the Titans movie, Robin is crushed.  Knowing how much the movie meant to him, Starfire tries to persuade her to change her mind.  But Jade is adamant that the Titans together are a joke.  She does express a willingness, however, to make a movie just about Robin.  Robin brightens: "All about me?"  Jade, using reverse psychology: "But, I know you would never do it, because your friends are too important to you."  Robin hangs his head.  Starfire: "You are correct!  The friend Robin would never leave us!"  Robin, brightening: "I'll do it!"  His friends gasp in shock and hurt.  Robin, to his friends: "We have to face it, no one takes us seriously when we're together.  Maybe we should just go our separate ways."  Saddened, the friends start to leave.  But Starfire turns back to give Robin a big hug and wish him the best.  Robin's conscience begins to smite him, but Jade leaps in: "Don't be sad, Robin.  You don't need your old friends anymore.  You'll find that fame is worth so much more than friendship because you are going to be a big, Hollywood star!"  Robin's face lights up.

Robin is sitting in a room, surrounded by movie screens.  The screens light up in preparation to play a superhero movie all about Robin.  Robin, knowing the movies are an evil plot to brainwash the minds of good people, squeezes his eyes shut.  Slade, temptingly: "Look at it, Robin!  It's so awesome!  It's so cool!  It's the most incredible superhero movie the world has ever seen!"  Robin, trying to resist the temptation to look, is covering his ears with his hands.  Slade, continuing to persuade, leans down to whisper in Robin's ear: "It's got special effects!  Like, tons and tons of special effects.  It'll blow your mind.  Just take a quick peek."  Robin appears to waver.  Slade: "It's your movie.  Your movie.  Your superhero movie."  And then, perhaps the most tempting suggestion of all: "It's all about you."  Just then, the Titans blast into the theater, shooting up all the screens.  Slade, laughing evilly, turns Robin to face them.  His eyes are glazed over.  He's been hypnotized by having watched the evil movie.  At Slade's orders, Robin begins to attack his friends.
