ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. - Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Lois and Mr. Terrific arrive at Luthor’s hidden encampment, determined to rescue Superman, but they’re immediately confronted by a squad of heavily armored guards. Weapons raised, the guards threaten to kill them if they advance. In a split second, as dozens of guns fire, Mr. Terrific conjures a nearly invisible barrier around Lois, shielding her completely from the hail of bullets. Inside the protective pod, Lois watches in stunned terror as the projectiles ricochet harmlessly around her, the chaos unfolding in full view. Outside, Mr. Terrific battles the guards alone, moving with precision and power, taking them down one by one. When the final enemy falls, he deactivates the barrier, freeing Lois and clearing the path to Superman.  (Caution: profanity in attached extended clip but not in actual scene)


Just as Metropolis erupts in celebration over Superman’s heroic defeat of a giant monster, the mood shifts with a sudden, jarring news broadcast. Every phone and television screen flickers to life with footage released by Lex Luthor—secret recordings of Superman’s parents instructing their son to dominate humanity, describing people as weak and stupid, and urging him to subdue the Earth by force if necessary. Superman, stunned and horrified, watches the footage for the first time along with the rest of the world. In an instant, the public’s perception of him shatters. The hero they had just cheered is now seen as a potential tyrant. The crowd that once adored him turns hostile, their gratitude eclipsed by fear and betrayal. As garbage rains down and angry voices rise, Superman walks through the mob, disgraced and alone.


At Lex Luthor’s command, Angela floods Superman’s lungs and head with her suffocating nano-particles, leaving him gasping for air and desperate to survive. Thinking quickly, Superman rockets upward toward the edge of the atmosphere, prompting Luthor to order Angela and Ultraman to pursue. They catch up swiftly, clinging to him as Angela envelops him completely in her particles. But just as she finishes, Superman reverses course and dives straight back toward Earth at breakneck speed. Watching from his control room, Luthor suddenly grasps Superman’s plan—but it’s too late. The nano-particles shield only Superman from the devastating impact, while Angela and Ultraman, unprotected, slam into the ground with brutal force. Superman rises from the crater unscathed, while his enemies lie broken in the wreckage.

A towering mechanical soldier rampages through Metropolis, leaving destruction in its wake—but it’s not acting on its own. Hidden deep within a high-tech control room, Lex Luthor monitors the chaos from a wall of glowing screens, orchestrating every calculated strike against Superman. The robot responds only to Luthor’s commands, executing his strategies with ruthless precision. Having spent years studying Superman’s behavior, strengths, and weaknesses, Luthor now uses that knowledge to anticipate his every move, turning the battle into a deadly game of chess with Metropolis as the board.


Luthor’s henchmen unleash a small, grotesque creature into the city, hoping to divert Superman’s attention. The critter scampers off, spitting fire in short bursts, but its impact appears laughably minimal. One henchman scoffs, “It’s an awfully small distraction,” to which the other replies ominously, “It’ll get bigger.” The next day, the streets tremble as the creature transforms into a towering monstrosity, its size multiplying exponentially within hours. Now a colossal beast wreaking havoc across the city, it proves nearly impossible to contain. Superman struggles valiantly to protect civilians, but the creature’s sheer scale makes it a formidable challenge to subdue.  (Caution: profanity in attached extended clip, but not in actual scene)


Having just suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of the Hammer of Boravia, Superman musters the last of his strength to fly toward home. He crashes into the frozen wilderness, too weak to reach his shelter. With a faint whistle, he summons his loyal dog, Krypto, who bounds toward him with joyful energy, unknowingly worsening his master's injuries with each excited leap. Superman cries out in pain, but Krypto continues tugging playfully, oblivious to the damage. Gasping for breath, Superman manages to command, “Take me home.” Krypto licks his face affectionately, prompting Superman to repeat, “Home,” as he offers a corner of his cape. Understanding at last, Krypto grabs the cape and, with unwavering devotion, drags his wounded master to the safety of their shelter.


As Superman struggles to subdue the monstrous creature alone, the Justice Gang arrives just in time to lend their support. Green Lantern, Hawk Girl, and Mr. Terrific spring into action, each deploying their unique powers to combat the beast. Though relieved not to be fighting solo, Superman quickly grows uneasy with their aggressive tactics, believing they’re too reckless and unconcerned with collateral damage. Despite their success in eliminating the threat, the aftermath is chaotic—buildings damaged, streets torn apart—and it’s Superman who remains behind, burdened with the responsibility of restoring order. Lex Luthor’s dimensional rift tears through Metropolis, ripping the city apart and sending buildings tumbling like toys. One massive structure begins to collapse toward a bridge, where a woman sits trapped in a stalled car, desperately trying to restart it. Panic grips her as the shadow of the falling building looms closer, threatening to crush her. At the last possible moment, Superman streaks in and catches the building mere feet from her vehicle, straining to hold its immense weight. The woman finally gets her car started and speeds to safety. As she glances back, she sees Superman slowly rising from the thick cloud of dust, a silent sentinel standing amid the wreckage.


Superman's adopted father sits beside him on the front step of the farmhouse.  Mr. Kent gently asks his son why he doesn't seem like himself.  Clark admits to being rocked to his core by the knowledge that his birth parents had intended a nefarious purpose for his life on Earth.  Clark: "I'm not who I thought I was.  They sent me here to hurt people."  Mr. Kent: "Parents aren't for telling people who they're supposed to be.  We are here to give y'all tools, help you make fools of yourselves all on your own.  No.  Your choices, Clark.  Your actions.  That's what makes you who you are."  Mr. Kent, tearing up, tells Clark he couldn't be more proud of him.

Metropolis teeters on the brink of annihilation as Lex Luthor’s master plan to destroy Superman unfolds. A cosmic rift threatens to tear the city apart, while an evil clone mercilessly pummels the weakened hero. Amid the chaos, Superman confronts Luthor, accusing him of being driven by envy. But instead of denying it, Luthor embraces the charge with chilling candor. “I’m aware envy consumes my every waking moment,” he declares. “I know when they mention Galileo or Einstein or one of these other twits in the same breath as me, I feel a tide of vomit burn the back of my throat.” For Luthor, envy isn’t a flaw—it’s a purpose. “My envy is a calling,” he proclaims, vowing to use it as fuel to reshape the world in his image, even if it means obliterating Superman and everything he stands for.
