ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Next, a curtain of spikes descends from the ceiling, striking Robotnik's drones.  Following that, an enormous boulder crashes towards them, threatening to run them over.  Robotnik, while running: "I don't want to die like this!  It's derivative!"  They run until they reach a door, which is quickly closing on them.  Just in time, Robotnik slides underneath.  This time, Robotnik is alert to the danger surrounding them.  He yells, "Fire in the hole," just before flames shoot out from the walls.  Robotnik: "I've solved it.  There is a booby trap every seven seco - - "  The words are silenced in his throat as a large, swinging blade falls near enough to set his moustache trembling.  At this point, Robotnik decides to change tactics and move more carefully.  He stops Knuckles before he can start running through the maze again: "Can we be a little bit more mindful of our surroundings?"  Robotnik releases a GPS drone, which scans the path in front of them and calls out instructions: "In thirty feet, turn left."  Robotnik looks smugly at Knuckles: "Work smarter, not harder."

Lost in a blinding snowstorm in Siberia, Sonic and Tails are relieved when they see a light coming from what appears to be a home.  Sonic: "Maybe we can take shelter in there."  Tails, nervously: "Are you sure about this?  We don't know who's inside."  Sonic: "Don't worry.  On Earth, people are very welcoming, and love taking complete strangers into their homes."  When the two open the door to what is actually some kind of pub, they gasp in fear.  Everyone inside is immediately coldly silent.  A man with an ugly scar on his face leers at them.  Another rough-looking, tattooed man stares at them while thrusting his knife into the table.  A third man glares at them while chopping the head off a fish.  The atmosphere in the room is anything but hospitable and no one looks friendly, until they spot an elderly woman knitting in front of the fire.  They sigh in relief, sure that they have at last found someone with compassion.  But that hope is diminished as the woman smiles evilly and holds up her knitting, revealing a skull-and-crossbones doily. 


Sonic watches from the top of a tall building as several police cars chase a hijacked armored car.  Sonic, feeling he will do a better job catching the thieves than the police will, runs down to the street, jumps onto the car and quickly pushes the thieves out of the cab.  Sonic swerves back and forth across the road, trying to knock the thieves out of the vehicle.  In the process, a bomb falls out, taking out one of the patrol cars, and the money from the armored truck flies everywhere.  As the bills start to fly out over the city, the bound and gagged truck driver gets Sonic's attention: "What the heck are you?"  Sonic, proudly: "Fear not, citizen.  I am the hero you need and the hero you deserve."  Distracted by his own self-aggrandizement, Sonic doesn't see a woman crossing the street.  Spotting her at the last second, he jerks the wheel to the side to avoid hitting her.  The sharp movement of the vehicle lights the remaining bombs.  Sonic has to move fast to throw them out the window before they blow up.  Driver: "Why didn't you just let the police handle this?"  Sonic, tossing the bombs into a garbage truck: "Because that's not what heroes do."  The truck explodes, sending garbage everywhere.  The driver, who can hear the sound of another lit bomb somewhere in the vehicle, growls at Sonic: "You are terrible at this!"  Sonic finds the bomb and throws it into the storm sewer.  Sonic: "See?  I told you nobody would get hurt."  He turns back to face the road just in time to see that he is headed straight for an open-air cafe.  Quickly, Sonic disassembles the vehicle while it is moving until only the floorboards remain to skid across the road.  As the driver comes to a safe but messy stop, the storm sewer explodes, sending geysers of water shooting towards the sky.  Sonic, self-importantly addressing the crowd from the top of another building: "No need to thank me, citizens.  All in a night's work for...Blue Justice!"  Driver, still bound, surrounded by spilled cash and shooting geysers: "You're a terrible hero!"

The underwater cavern collapses and water starts to fill the room.  Sonic begins to run away, but stops when he sees that his mortal enemy, Knuckles, is trapped underwater beneath a fallen pillar.  Even though he can't swim himself, Sonic dives underwater and frees Knuckles.  Knuckles swims to the surface, unaware that Sonic cannot swim.  Just as Sonic is about to lose consciousness, a hand reaches out for him.  Knuckles pulls him to safety.  Sonic: "Why did you save me?"  Knuckles: "Because you saved me first, which clearly gave you a tactical advantage I do not understand."  Sonic: "It wasn't a tactic.  I couldn't just let you die."  Knuckles narrows his eyes: "Why?  I've been trying to destroy you since the moment we met."  Sonic: "Because, being a hero isn't about taking care of yourself.  It's about taking responsibility for other people."


Sonic, a teenage hedgehog, is thrilled because his guardians are leaving him home alone for the weekend.  Sonic, to the dog: "Okay, it's 48 hours until they come back.  We've got TV channels, streaming channels, a house full of food, and no supervision.  Let's do this!"  Soon, the living room is completely carpeted with snacks, sodas, and trash.  Chips are everywhere, including on the couch Sonic is jumping on.  With each leap, crumbs fly all over the room.  Next, Sonic experiments with hair gel, even giving the dog a mohawk.  Additionally, he builds a skate ramp in the living room and skateboards over the furniture, using Maddie's crystal dishes as a ramp.  After he's done skating, Sonic drives the riding lawnmower all around the living room, mowing down the snacks and splattering the walls with food.  Finally, he puts a kiddie pool in the room and fills it with bubbles.


When the Siberian waitress puts two steaming bowls of tongue on the table, Tails thinks there's been a mistake: "Uh, I'm sorry, but I asked for the beef stew."  Tails speaks into his hand-held translation machine, which immediately repeats, in Russian: "Your breath smells like goat poop."  The already surly waitress fumes: "What did you say?"  She gets the attention of the rest of the patrons, who surround the two aliens menacingly.  Sonic and Tails, who are unaware that the machine is a poor translator, are confused by the sudden hostility.  Sonic: "Okay, everybody.  Take it easy.  I'm sure there's a perfectly good explanation for whatever my friend said or did."  Machine, translating: "Stand back.  I just farted."  Angry patrons grab Sonic and Tails: "Throw these monsters into the fire!"


Tom shows Sonic a newspaper article covering the destruction of a city block during a botched robbery attempt: "You're being reckless."  Sonic, rolling his eyes: "Not this conversation again."  Tom: "If you keep being irresponsible we're gonna keep having this conversation."  Sonic: "How is it irresponsible to use my powers?"  Tom: "You destroyed an entire city block!"  Sonic, puffing out his chest in pride: "That block was already messed up.  Who cares?  Look, I stopped a robbery.  I was a hero!"  Tom: "No, you put people in danger and that's not what a hero does."  Sonic: "I can take care of myself."  Tom: "Sonic, taking care of yourself is not what being a hero is all about.  It's about taking responsibility for other people."  Tom tells Sonic that he has to grow up more before he can be the hero he wants to be: "Trust me when I tell you, there will come a time when your powers will be needed.  But you don't choose that moment.  That moment chooses you."


Knuckles, Sonic, and Tails have just fired a missile at Dr. Robotnik, but it did nothing to dent the enormous metal robot.  Knuckles and Tails feel their mission is an impossible one: "We can't beat Robotnik as long as he's got that emerald.  He's too powerful."  Sonic: "Look, we aren't strong enough to beat Robotnik on our own, but there's three of us!"  He looks at Knuckles: "Your strength," and at Tails, "your smarts, and my speed, together.  That's how we win!"  Knuckles, inspired: "So, we make our stand here, on the field of battle."  Tails, smiling: "As a team!"  The three turn to face Robotnik: "This is our moment!"
