ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Outside the shadow of the Great Sphinx, the Hebrew slaves toil under the scorching sun to built the great cities of Pharaoh.  Overseers whip the elderly and the tired, prodding them on and on in their unending labor.  The slaves, carrying great loads of bricks, heaping piles of straw, and constructing statues dedicated to Pharaoh, sing a prayer of desperation to God: ♪ "Elohim, God on High, can You hear Your people cry?  Help us now.  This dark hour.  Deliver us.  Hear our call.  Deliver us.  Lord of all, remember us, here in this burning sand.  Deliver us.  There's a land You promised us.  Deliver us to the Promised Land." ♪

With a heavy heart, Moses's mother puts her infant son into a basket and sends it down the river to escape the murderous plot of the Egyptian Pharaoh.  Young Miriam, Moses's older sister, runs alongside the riverbank, watching the basket to ensure its safety.  The basket passes safely through the snapping jaws of alligators, slips narrowly through a fisherman's net, and barely squeezes past the strong oars of several great ships.  Finally, it comes to rest outside Pharaoh's palace, where the princess finds it and smiles on the cooing baby.  Miriam, pleased, sings with relief: ♪ "Brother, you're safe now, and safe may you stay.  For I have a prayer just for you.  Grow, baby brother.  Come back someday.  Come and deliver us too." ♪

Moses, the Prince of Egypt, walks through the new temple his brother, Rameses, is having built.  For the first time in his life, he notices the suffering of the slaves laboring on the temple.  Blinded to their plight all of his pampered life, he is now burdened by every cry, every lash, and every moan that escapes from the lips of the oppressed.  Rameses excitedly tells his brother about his plans for the temple, but Moses, distracted by the beating of an elderly slave, is hardly paying attention.  The sound of Rameses's boasts fades into the background as Moses hears a woman's cry: "Stop it!  Somebody's got to stop this!"  He turns to where the old man is still being harshly whipped.  Suddenly, he can stand no more of the abuse.  His eyes narrow and he begins shouting for the overseer to stop the beating.  The overseer either ignores or is oblivious to Moses's order and continues to beat the man.  Moses runs toward him, pushes him away, and inadvertently knocks him over the edge of the tall scaffolding.  The man falls to the ground, dead.

Jethro has gathered his household to honor Moses for rescuing his daughters from brigands.  Moses, embarrassed, knows how little he is worthy of recognition: "I've done nothing in my life worth honoring."  Jethro reminds Moses of his brave acts, then begins to sing of a man's worth in God's eyes: ♪ "A single thread in a tapestry, though its color brightly shine, can never see its purpose in the pattern of the grand design.  And the stone that sits on the very top of the mountain's mighty face...does it think that it's more important than the stones that form the base?  So, how can you see what your life is worth, or where your value lies?  You can never see through the eyes of man.  You must look at your life...look at your life through heaven's eyes." ♪  Time passes, and Moses lives and works with Jethro, finding his place in the man's household and in his family.  Jethro, continuing his song: ♪ "A lake of gold in the desert sand is less than a cool, fresh spring.  And, to one lost sheep, a shepherd boy is greater than the richest king.  If a man lose everything he owns, has he truly lost his worth?  Or is it the beginning of a new and brighter birth?  So, how do you measure the worth of a man in wealth or strength or size?  In how much he gained or how much he gave?  The answer will come...the answer will come to him who tries to look at his life through heaven's eyes." ♪
"

Moses was following a stray sheep through a cavern when he spotted a strange light reflecting off the rock walls of a cave.  Following the light, he emerges in a clearing where a bush burns with a steady, unearthly flame.  Curious, Moses reaches out and touches the fire with his staff.  He is amazed to see that his wooden staff doesn't burn.  He approaches the fire and thrusts his hand into it, marveling that he feels no heat.  Suddenly, a wind rustles his hair and a whispering voice echoes: "Moses.  Moses.  Moses.  Moses."  Moses, startled, answers: "Here I am."  Voice: "Take the sandals from your feet.  For the place on which you stand is holy ground."  Moses: "Who are You?"  Voice: "I AM that I AM."  Moses: "I don't understand."  Voice: "I am the God of your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob."  Moses's eyes widen and he immediately takes off his sandals.  Moses: "What do You want with me?"  God: "I have seen the oppression of My people in Egypt and have heard their cry.  So I have come down to deliver them out of slavery and bring them to a good land, a land flowing with milk and honey.  And so, unto Pharaoh, I shall send...you."  Moses: "Me?  Who am I to lead these people?  They'll never believe me.  They won't even listen."  God: "I shall teach you what to say."  Moses, still frightened of the incredible task, tells God that He has chosen the wrong messenger.  With a blinding light and a roaring wind, God commands Moses to obey.  Then, when Moses cowers in fear, God whispers in a gentle voice that He will go with Moses and give him the strength necessary to complete his task.

Moses has returned to Egypt for the first time since he left it in disgrace after killing the Egyptian overseer.  He and Tzipporah enter the palace of Pharaoh and approach his throne.  Recognizing his adopted brother, Pharaoh is overjoyed.  He welcomes Moses back, assuming he wants to resume his role as Prince of Egypt.  Moses, hurting for his lost brother, but committed to do God's will: "Rameses, in my heart you are my brother, but things cannot be as they were.  You know I am a Hebrew, and the God of the Hebrews came to me.  He commands that you let His people go."  Rameses, astonished the Moses would speak to him, Pharaoh, in such a way: "Commands?"  Moses, striking his staff on the floor: "Behold.  The power of God."  Moses's staff turns into a hissing cobra.

Pharaoh, unimpressed with Moses's display of God's power (see Scene # CV06603) orders his own magicians to show their strength.  Hotep and Huy gladly comply, calling on the names of various Egyptian gods to come to their aid.  With the use of incantations, mysterious smoke, and chanting acolytes, the priests appeal to the stone statues that surround them, taunting Moses for his belief in the One True God.  With a grand, dramatic display, Hotep and Huy turn their own staffs into snakes.  But they are too focused on mocking Moses to notice when their snakes are gobbled up by Moses's.

Angry that Moses's interference has caused Pharaoh to increase their workload, the Israelites vent their wrath on Moses.  Moses, responding to their attack: "I didn't mean to cause you more pain.  I'm just trying to do as God told me."  Aaron: "God?  When did God start caring about any of us?  In fact, Moses, when did you start caring about slaves?"  Moses hangs his head, knowing that he was, indeed, blind, until God made him see.  Miriam scolds Aaron for blaming Moses for their suffering.  She approaches Moses, telling him that he is the answer to her prayers.  She reminds him how God has been with him, taking care of him, preparing him for His purpose: "God will not abandon you.  So don't you abandon us."

Pharaoh is floating restfully in his boat along the Nile.  Moses calls out to him, once again demanding that he free the Israelites.  Pharaoh laughs, ordering his guards to take Moses prisoner.  But, when the men begin to swim toward him, Moses looks up to heaven and hears the voice of God.  God: "Take the staff in your hand, Moses."  Moses holds the staff, dipping it into the river.  Waves of blood begin spreading quickly out from the staff, filling the entire river.  The guards scream, wading quickly back to the boat.  Pharaoh, initially disturbed, turns to his magicians, demanding an explanation of the miracle.  Surreptitiously pulling some red powder from his robe, Huy throws it into a bowl of water, pretending to change it into blood.  Pharaoh, convinced by his magician's trick, scorns Moses, refusing to comply with his demands.  Aaron, discouraged by Moses's seeming failure, laments that Pharaoh still has the power over their lives.  Moses tells his brother and the other Israelites listening that Pharaoh may still have power over their physical beings, but he has no power over their faith.  Moses: "Believe.  For we will see God's wonders."

Pharaoh has refused to let the Israelites go, and God is now sending plagues to torment the Egyptians and force them to obey.  Frogs fill their waters, gnats swarm over their bodies, their cattle die and locusts eat their crops, but still Pharaoh won't budge.  Moses stands on a hill, watching the sky fill with darkness and hail of fire fall from the clouds.  He mourns over the suffering of the innocents.  Pharaoh watches angrily from his palace.  With each new plague, Pharaoh's anger burns more fiercely.  He glares at Moses, forcing boil-covered sentries back to their stations and venting his wrath on his helpless magicians.  A choir sings in the background: ♪ "Thus saith the Lord.  I sent the swarm.  I sent the horde." ♪  Rameses, looking out from his palace at Moses: ♪ "Then let my heart be hardened, and never mind how high the cost may grow.  This will still be so.  I will never let your people go." ♪

Pharaoh has hardened his heart against God, and the final and most terrible plague is about to be released upon Egypt.  Moses, to the Israelites: "God has come to me again, saying, 'Take a lamb and with its blood mark the lintel and posts of every door.  For tonight, I shall pass through the land of Egypt and smite all the firstborn.  But when I see the blood upon your door, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not enter.'"  A view of the darkened town shows blood smeared over doorways and Israelites huddled inside their houses with their children.  When the darkness is complete, a radiant white mist descends from the sky, rushing silently from house to house.  The mist turns away from the doors with blood over them.  But, wherever there is no blood, the mist enters and takes the breath away from the firstborn son of the house.  All over the town is the sound of breath escaping from the bodies of children, until, finally, the mist descends on the palace of Pharaoh.  The sound of another final breath is heard and the mist returns to the sky, leaving nothing but blackness and the sound of weeping.

Pharaoh has just released the Israelites from their bondage, and Miriam and Tzipporah can hardly believe their prayers have finally been answered.  Tzipporah, singing: ♪ "In this time of fear, when prayer so often proved in vain, hope seemed like the summer birds, too swiftly flown away.  Yet now I'm standing here, with heart so full I can't explain.  Seeking faith and speaking words I never thought I'd say." ♪  Moses begins leading the Israelites out of the Egyptian town and Miriam and Tzipporah sing together: ♪ "There can be miracles when you believe.  Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill." ♪ People stream out from the city, their faces glowing with hope.  Egyptian sentries throw down their weapons and walk away.  Voices of little children rise together, singing a Hebrew song of praise, and the valley is covered by the swarm of people leaving their chains behind.  The atmosphere among the Israelites is one of celebration, and they sing together: ♪ "There can be miracles when you believe.  Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill.  Who knows what miracles you can achieve.  When you believe, somehow you will.  Now you will.  You will when you believe." ♪

The Israelites have been released from Egypt and have just arrived at the Red Sea.  Suddenly, a guard blows a horn, alerting the people to danger.  Pharaoh and his army are advancing upon them and the people are trapped between the army and the sea.  A pillar of fire descends from the clouds, blocking the path of the Egyptians.  The eyes of the Israelites turn to Moses.  He walks out into the water and lifts his staff toward the sky.  Moses closes his eyes and hears the word of God: "With this staff, you shall do my wonders!"  Moses thrusts the staff into the waters and, immediately, they rise into two giant walls, leaving a path clear through the sea for the Israelites to pass.

The Israelites are passing through the Red Sea.  With walls of water towering over their heads and the Egyptian army behind them, the people struggle with fear.  But, with the visible evidence of God's power all around them, they continue ahead.  Suddenly, the pillar of fire that had been holding the Egyptian armies at bay is removed, and Pharaoh orders his men to charge.  The people begin to panic as they watch the army fast approaching them.  But, as the people reach the other side of the sea in safety, the walls of water collapse, covering the Egyptian armies.  The Israelites watch in amazement as what was just dry land is now covered with water.
