ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Martha tells Eddie that those qualities are a part of the video game character he now inhabits.  She touches the hidden button on his chest that pulls up his abilities chart.  The others goggle at the hero's listed strengths: fearless, speed, climbing, boomerang, smoldering intensity.  His one weakness is a switchblade.  The others begin to pull up their own skills charts.  Martha's shows that she has various martial arts abilities, as well as skills with dance fighting and nun chucks.  Her only weakness is venom.  Milo looks at his strengths, seeing zoology, equipment valet, and linguistics.  But he has a few more weaknesses than the others: cake, speed, and strength.  Finally, Fridge reluctantly pulls up his avatar's list, remembering that this particular character was the weakest of the bunch.  Fridge is disappointed and disgusted by his gifts, especially compared to those of the others.  To cartography and paleontology has been added geometry as a strength.  Martha, trying to be supportive: "Well, geometry is...is new."  Fridge, sarcastically: "Yeah.  Who wouldn't wanna be better at geometry?  And, for weaknesses, 'endurance.'  And, what else?  Let's see...'heat,' 'sun,' and 'sand.'"  He gestures broadly at the desert surrounding them: "Shouldn't be a problem."  (Caution: h-word used twice, d-word used)


Jake Kasdan

Milo approaches the river, spotting a hippo nearly submerged in the murky water.  Milo smiles, enjoying the novelty of closeness to wild animals: "Well, look at this little fella.  Hello there."  Martha, who has been in Jumanji before, calls out: "Mr. Walker!  Don't get too close to the water!"  Fridge echoes her warning: "Get away from there!"  Milo, in no rush, turns around, still at the edge of the water: "I'm sorry, what'd you say, now?"  In less than a second, the giant hippo lunges out of the water and makes a grab for Milo with its monstrous fangs.  Just in time, Martha pushes him out of the way and Fridge scares the hippo off.  Fridge, turning to the group: "Just listen.  This is a dangerous place!  But, Martha and I, we've been here before.  We know what we're doing.  You gotta stay alert all the time.  If I'm near water, I got one eye on the water, you hear me?  You've got to have eyes in the back of your - -"  A monster snake strikes out of nowhere, swallowing Fridge.  (Caution: h-word used.  Scene may frighten some viewers.)


Martha and Spencer are using ice axes to climb up a sheer cliff face.  Martha suddenly turns to Spencer and asks why he never visited her at college.  Martha: "You cancelled the first time, and then you were gonna come for Halloween, you cancel again.  Then, the next time I hear from you, you tell me we should take a break?"  Spencer: "It's just...I saw all your pictures on Instagram, and you looked like you were having so much fun, and I just got really insecure or something.  Like I wasn't the guy I thought I was.  Or, I wasn't the guy you thought I was."  Martha shakes her head: "Spencer, do you think I'm not totally terrified all the time?  I got to school and, suddenly, for the first time ever, people really liked me.  But, I'm always thinking that...it's just a matter of time before somebody figures out who I really am.  But, then I see you, and you're the person who makes me feel good about who I really am.  When you're, like, scared and insecure, that's when you need your people the most."


Eddie looks at his CPAP machine and sighs: "Getting old sucks.  Don't let anybody tell you any different."  Eddie and Spencer, his young-adult grandson, are sharing a bedroom over Christmas break.  When Eddie asks Spencer about his girlfriend, Spencer tells his grandfather they broke up.  With all the confusion and identity-seeking of youth, Spencer feels that they are different people than they used to be.  Spencer, remembering how secure he felt the previous year: "I finally figured out who I was."  Now, in his first year of college, all his old insecurities are back: "I wish I could just feel like that again, I guess."  Eddie, with all the bluntness and pragmatism of old age, tells his grandson there are plenty of women to be had filling the New York subways: "This is the best time of your life!"  Spencer, not feeling like it's that great: "It is?"  Eddie: "Yes, it is!  So, pull it together, because it doesn't get any better than this."  Eddie, looking at his CPAP machine: "It's all downhill from here!"  Spencer looks less than encouraged.


Kevin Hart

Spencer leaves the university for the start of Christmas break.  For him, it is only the beginning of what turns out to be an annoyingly bad day.  The instant he steps out on the street, he is jostled by every passerby he encounters.  People don't even seem to see him until they run into him.  Next, he goes to his dreaded job, where he stocks store shelves.  His boss catches him checking his cell phone and chews him out.  Spencer begins to hyperventilate and gets out his inhaler.  After four or five empty puffs, the worn out young man realizes the inhaler is useless.  After work, he lugs his heavy suitcase down the street to try to get the bus.  The clouds open and begin to pour down rain on his head.  He grimaces.  Finally, the handle on his enormous suitcase breaks off in his hand.  Groaning in frustration, Spencer awkwardly heaves it onto his back and continues struggling toward the bus.


Eddie smiles as his grown grandson teaches him how to play a video game.  Eddie, beginning his old, well-worn motto: "Let me tell you something.  Getting old - -"  Spencer cuts him off, having heard it all before: "I know.  Getting old sucks."  Eddie shakes his head, changing his tune after the day spent with his grandson: "Getting old is a gift.  I forget that sometimes.  But, it is."  He smiles warmly at Spencer: "What more could a guy possibly want?"  Spencer smiles in return.  Spencer's mom leans into the room: "How was your day?"  Spencer: "It was really great."  Eddie, agreeing: "Spencer taught me how to play a video game."  They look at each other and grin.


Jack Black

Milo, Eddie, Fridge, and Martha are speeding along the desert in two dune buggies, trying to escape a herd of ferocious ostriches.  The ostriches are so fast, they keep pace with the dune buggies, and one is able to snatch Milo out of the window.  Eddie, struggling to drive the buggy, manages to yank Milo back inside.  In Martha's dune buggy, she drives over the lip of a hill, not realizing how steep the drop really is.  Fridge and Martha scream as the buggy plunges, head-over-heels, down the hill.  With their buggy totaled, the two can only wait helplessly for the herd that is now streaming over the hill.  Just then, Milo and Eddie arrive, offering the two a ride.  The four speed off, rabid ostriches on their tail.  Suddenly, Eddie sees a cliff straight ahead.  Eddie jerks the wheel to the side just in time to avoid plunging off of the vertical drop.  Now, with the cliff on one side and the ostriches racing toward them on the other, the situation looks dire indeed.  Thinking fast, Eddie spots a ramp off to the side of the cliff.  He turns the buggy, speeding straight back at the birds.  His passengers, rightfully so, express doubt in Eddie's plan.  Eddie, jerking the wheel just before he strikes the herd, again speeds toward the cliff, this time at the ramp: "They're flightless birds!"  Martha, protesting: "This is a flightless dune buggy!"  With the ostriches close enough to peck the roof off their buggy, Eddie drives up the ramp and sails over the cliff.  The others scream: "We're not gonna make it!"  Eddie, confidently: "We're gonna make it."  However, as the buggy begins to lose altitude without reaching the other side, Eddie changes his tune: "We're not gonna make it."  Thankfully, the buggy strikes the ledge at just the right angle to fling the passengers to safety before tumbling down the crevasse.  (Caution: h-word used)
