ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

After hearing a strange noise, Manny immediately goes to check on his teenage daughter, Peaches.  Finding her gone, he interrogates her uncles, who admit they saw her sneak off to the falls with a friend.  Manny, worried: "The falls?  Where the delinquents go?"  Ellie: "Relax.  It's just where the kids hang out."  Manny won't be comforted: "No, no.  It's a gateway hangout.  First it's the falls, then she's piercing her trunk, and the next thing you know, she's addicted to berries."  Ellie laughs: "You are overreacting.  She's not going to be your little girl forever."  Manny, sullenly: "I know.  That's what worries me."

Manny and his friends are trapped on a tiny iceberg, drifting out to sea.  They paddle furiously, trying to turn the ice around, but the current is too strong.  Diego tries to get Manny to face the reality of their situation, but Sid is his usual optimistic self.  Sid: "You know, my mother once told me that bad news was just good news in disguise."  Diego: "Was this before she abandoned you?"  Sid, smiling: "Yes, it was, but the point being that...even though things look bad, there's a rainbow around every corner."  Sid raises his voice to be heard over the growing wind and thunder: "And nothing but smooth sailing ahead!"  A giant dark storm cloud quickly amasses above their heads.  Manny, looking up at the lightning: "Smooth sailing, Sid?"  The iceberg lurches over the choppy waves as the storm gathers strength.

Manny and his friends are plotting to take over Captain Gutt's pirate ship when they realize they are being overheard.  Cute little lemmings pop out from behind bushes and trees, chattering curiously to each other.  Seeing that some of the lemmings have been taken prisoner by Captain Gutt, Manny gets the idea of enlisting the lemmings to help them steal the ship.  He tries to communicate his plan to the lead lemming: "How 'bout you and us against the pirates, huh?"  The lemming stares blankly at Manny.  Manny: "You've got no idea what I'm saying, do you?"  Manny slows down his words: "Uh, ship...me want."  The lemming offers him a banana.  Sid steps forward, offering to try to speak to the lemming.  Using a combination of grunts, yodels, and crazy dance moves, Sid somehow is completely understood by the lemmings, who agree to join forces with Manny and his friends.

Sid and Granny have been given the task of unmooring the pirate ship when Sid is distracted by the sight of a beautiful red berry growing on a bush nearby.  He immediately forgets his job, runs to the bush, and picks the berry.  He is about to pop it in his mouth when Diego calls out a warning: "Sid, no!  It's a lotus berry.  It'll paralyze you!"  Sid waves his hand dismissively: "Oh, please.  I know my berries."  Sid unconcernedly pops the berry into his mouth and swallows: "See, I'm fine.  If there's one thing I know, it's berries."  Sid's eye suddenly droops and his tongue lolls out of his mouth.  One by one, his body parts sag until he is lying on the ground in a helpless puddle.

Louis and his fellow creatures are migrating to try to escape from a massive rock wall that is shifting quickly towards them.  Crash and Eddie, unlike the other animals, show no fear regarding their uncertain future.  Instead, they are sitting on the top of two pine trees, waiting for the wall to knock them over and launch them into the air.  Laughing, they hit the ground in front of Louis, giving each other high-fives.  Louis: "Can I ask you guys something?  How are you both so happy?  Doesn't it weigh on you that the world might be ending?"  Crash looks at Eddie: "Can I tell him our secret?"  Eddie nods.  Crash beckons to Louis to come closer to hear his secret.  Crash, solemnly: "We're very, very stupid."  Crash looks vaguely proud.  Louis: "But, still, you're not a teensy bit concerned about, oh, I don't know, say, imminent death?"  Crash, not answering, reaches out and honks Louis's nose: "Beep."  Louis sighs, rolling his eyes.

Peaches is ecstatic to find herself included in the group of "cool" kids led by Ethan.  As the four mammoths explore a hidden cave, they question Peaches regarding her friendship with Louis the hedgehog.  Ethan, derisively: "You're not really friends with him, are you?"  Steffie: "Are you friends with that awkward little rodent or not?"  Peaches, uncomfortable, shakes her head: "Louis and I, we've hung out, or whatever.  But, no, we're not really friends-friends."  Peaches gasps in embarrassed shock when she hears a small voice ahead of them in the cave: "Not friends?"  Louis, looking hurt, is watching Peaches, waiting for her to explain why she denied their friendship.  Steffie, enjoying the situation: "Busted!"  Peaches stammers awkwardly, wishing she could take back her words.  Louis, hurt and angry, leaves.  Steffie laughs at him: "He even runs away like a loser!"  Ethan, seeing Peaches is upset: "Whoa, Peaches.  Don't stress.  You're with us now."

Diego and his friends are drifting through the ocean on a boat made from an iceberg.  Diego is resting on the ice when a sultry voice calls out to him from the darkness.  An image of a beautiful tigress appears, lighted by a rosy, glowing hue.  The tigress calls him by name, tempting him to come toward her.  Sid stands next to Diego, entranced by a vision of his own.  A beautiful female sloth cries out to Sid, proclaiming her love.  Even Granny is tempted by the long-haired, muscled sloth who beckons her.  Manny sees his three friends standing motionless at the edge of the boat as it sails toward a treacherous reef of rocks.  Manny: "Guys?  Aren't you paying attention?"  A siren takes on the forms of Manny's wife and daughter, trying to lure Manny into the same deadly trance that has captured his friends.  Just in time, Manny recognizes the deception and fights to turn the boat around.  Manny, stuffing his ears with leaves: "They're not real!  Don't listen to them!"  Manny finally succeeds in turning the boat around, just before it is wrecked on the rocks.

After a treacherous journey following a treasure map through stormy seas, Scrat is overjoyed to find that he has at last reached his destination.  Seeking a long lost horde of acorns, Scrat has found even more than he had hoped for:  a veritable squirrel Utopia.  Acorns are so plentiful that they are piled up along the marbled colonnade, fountains spew acorns, and squirrels bathe in them.  Scrat is so entranced by the sight of the acorns that he becomes consumed by a desire to possess them all.  He runs around, laughing maniacally, stealing acorns from the other squirrels.  He dives into a huge pile of acorns, hugging them to himself contentedly, until he spots the biggest acorn he has ever seen.  Leaving all the other acorns behind, he runs to the gigantic acorn, which is embedded in a pedestal.  Scrat begins tugging at it, trying to remove it from its stand.  A squirrel in a toga runs up to him, begging him to stop pulling on the acorn: "Brother, rise above this base desire.  Be more than a rodent."  Scrat appears to wrestle with himself for a moment, but quickly gives in to his greed.  He pulls the giant acorn out of its base, revealing a large bathtub stopper attached beneath.  The island immediately sinks into the ocean, sucked down into a powerful whirlpool.  Scrat is left standing alone on parched, cracked ground, with not an acorn in sight.
