ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

The alien Boov are invading Earth, intent on taking over the planet and relocating all humans to Australia.  (Their simplistic ideas of human happiness make them believe they are improving the human condition.)  Bubble-shaped ships sail over the planet, sucking humans up through tubes into rooms full of plastic balls and ice cream.  The ships transport the people to "Happy Humanstown," a place where comfortable suburban homes are stacked inches apart and a carnival-like atmosphere reigns.  Each human family is plopped down in the yard of a house and then welcomed to attend the neighborhood fair, where rides and bouncy houses and snack stands abound.  Boov citizen: "Humanspersons are happiness and joy forever in Happy Humanstown."  A Boov representative hands a confused family a set of keys, saying warmly: "Welcome to your new home."  Man, shocked: "What?  No!"  Woman: "New home!"  The Boovs contentedly sail back to their new homeland, enjoying the thought that they have helped the human race.

Oh approaches Kyle to invite him to his housewarming party.  He whips out his tablet to send him an e-vite.  Kyle, who has no desire to attend the party, looks down at his own tablet and sees the invitation pop up on his screen.  Suddenly, Boovs all across Earth are receiving the same invitations on their tablets.  Kyle gasps in horror: "You sent directions to everyone?"  Oh, embarrassed: "It is not my fault!  Why for put 'Send' button right next to 'Send All'?  This is just bad design."  Kyle: "Your invite has been sent to entire galaxy!"  Oh, realizing that he has led the evil Gorg right to their planet: "Uh oh."  Kyle, screeching: "You have doomed our species!"  A crowd of angry Boovs closes in on Oh.  He backs away, pleading: "I did not mean to.  I am sorries!"  Oh flees in terror before the angry Boovs can attack.

As Oh's accidental e-vite makes its way across the universe, Captain Smeck and his top advisors are in a panic.  Believing that the evil Gorg will attack when they learn of their location, the Boovs worry that they will have to leave yet another planet.  Captain Smeck: "I have got to fix this!  I know!  Summon the Big Brain Boovs!  The smarty-pants of all smarty-panty Booviness."  A platform rises from the ground and several dozen Boovs with giant heads appear.  When Smeck orders them to give him good ideas, the Big Brain Boovs immediately begin thinking.  Their huge heads pulsate with their efforts.  One Boov arrives at a plan: "We could create an alternate reality with no Gorg in it, then go live there."  Smeck, excited: "Yes!  I love it!  How long would it take?"  Boov: "Based on our current technology...1.7 million years."  Smeck points his scepter at a different Boov: "Moving on!"  This new Big Brain Boov falls to the ground, suggesting they all play dead.  Smeck, unimpressed, demands another idea.  A third brainy Boov begins to suggest they intercept the troublesome email, but Smeck bops him on the head before he can finish, sensing a good idea.  Smeck, stealing the thought for himself, announces it as the new plan.

Oh, worried that their trip to Paris is a bad idea, given their fugitive status, asks Tip if she has a plan.  Tip, brightly: "Not really.  But I have hope."  Oh rolls his eyes: "You are bad at math.  Boov are superior in this way.  If probability for success falls below 50%, Boov give up.  You do not."  Tip, not seeing this quality as a fault: "Exactly!"

Tip is by herself in the middle of the ocean, waiting in the starry black night for Oh to return from his swim.  Finally, after hours of being gone, Oh reappears as if nothing were wrong.  Tip is furious that he left her alone, but Oh doesn't understand.  Oh: "But when I founded you, you were already alone, so I thinks it is normal for you."  Oh explains his very different perspective on relationships: "When Boov are young, we are kept in the warming oven."  (An incubator containing several dozen Boov babies is monitored by a single Boov playing a video game.)  Oh, confused: "Is this normal for humanspersons?"  Tip explains that her life with her mom had made her happy, and Oh promises to help her find her mother.  Oh tells Tip that Boovs don't have mothers.  Tip, thinking: "Boovs don't have families.  No wonder you take things and don't care about anybody else."  Oh, trying hard to understand: "So, your mimom is a very important humansperson to you.  More important than others.  To not belong with her causes you being sad."  Tip, frustrated and lonely, moves away to be by herself.  Oh, shaking his head: "Humans are more complicated than it said in the pamphlet."

Oh and Tip are suddenly surrounded by a large group of Boovs with guns.  Captain Smek confronts Oh, reminding him that he is a fugitive from the law.  Tip believes that Oh's heroic rescue of the planet should exempt him from any punishment for past mistakes, but Captain Smek thinks otherwise.  Oh: "I has fixed my mistake!"  Captain Smek: "Yes, but before that, you has made your mistake.  And many mistakes before that.  Many, many, many..."  The captain is still determined to give Oh the ultimate punishment: "I still has to erase you."  Oh, frightened: "Why?"  Captain Smek, matter-of-factly: "You cannot guarantee you would not make a mistake again."  Oh: "But I would not."  Smek: "But you might."  Oh: "But I would not."  Smek: "But you might."  (This continues for awhile.)  Suddenly, Smek is bored of their argument and gives the order to his minions: "Erase him!"

Oh, Tip, and her mother watch with some trepidation as the leader of the Gorg slowly walks down the ramp of his immense spaceship.  The creature's eyes glow red from inside his metal mask.  He towers over the three smaller beings, and fierce-looking metal spikes with impaled skulls cover his shoulder plates.  Oh steps forward, holding out the rock that the Boovs had stolen from the Gorg.  The Gorg leader blinks and his face mask begins to open, revealing the true creature inside the armor.  The last of the Gorg is, in reality, a being similar to a cute, squishy starfish.  He hops out of his body suit and takes the rock from Oh.  Opening it, he smiles tenderly, watching thousands of Gorg babies swim around inside.
