ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 4,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  part of the ScreenVue Vault.

All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Agnes has been consumed with grief since the death of her only son.  William has bought her a new home, but she can't bear the thought of leaving the place where her son died.  William struggles with his own sense of loss: "You know, I'm constantly wondering where he is.  Or where he is gone.  Whatever I'm doing, I'm wondering, 'Where is he?'  I mean, he can't have just vanished.  All he needs is for me to find him.  He must be somewhere.  I fear I may run mad with it, even now, a year on."  Agnes, bitterly, seeing the days stretching bleakly before her: "A year is nothing.  A year is nothing.  It's every second...every minute, every day.  We may never stop looking for him."


Watching her mother struggle to keep her plague-stricken sister alive, young Susanna asks her grandmother Mary what it was like to lose three of her own daughters.  Mary, obviously reining in deep emotion, remembers and sees the same signs in Judith.  She speaks, seemingly almost to herself: "Your mother's trying to keep a grip on her child.  It won't work.  What is given may be taken away at any time.  We must never let our guard down, never take for granted that our children's hearts beat, that they draw breath, that they walk and speak...smile, argue, play.  Never forget for a moment that they may be gone."


Judith has come to see the body of her twin brother, lost suddenly to plague.  She bends over his still form, crying, looking deeply into his beloved face.  But, she sees nothing but an empty shell her brother once inhabited.  He is no longer there.  Judith, disturbed: "Is it really him?  It doesn't look like him."  She shakes her head firmly, looking closer: "No.  It's not him.  It's not!  It's not him!"


It is the closing scene of Shakespeare's Hamlet, performed for a captive audience in the Globe Theater.  The crowd pushes eagerly against the stage, held in rapt attention by the tragedy.  As they watch Hamlet in his death throes, they seem to forget that what they are watching is art.  It is too close to reality for many of them who have experienced recent loss at the hands of the Black Death.  Art has so encompassed reality that their hearts are moved by compassion towards the young man.  Agnes is the first to reach out her hand, taking his in her own as he acts out his death.  Quietly, the others in the audience reach their arms towards Hamlet, willing the comfort to him that they wished themselves on their lost loved ones.  When the death scene is over, Agnes looks with new eyes on the weeping audience.  She sees purpose in her husband's play for the first time.

Hamnet kneels at his twin sister's deathbed.  The plague has struck and death is very near.  Hamnet feels he can see Death's presence in the room, watching them.  Judith weakly tells her brother goodbye: "You will live."  But Hamnet doesn't want to live without his sister.  A sudden idea strikes him and he believes he has discovered a way to trick Death.  He climbs into bed with her, telling her to turn away from Death's gaze.  He takes her hand and matches her breathing to his own.  He has resolved that Death will take him instead.  Hamnet, whispering: "I give you my life.  You shall be well.  I give you my life, Judith.  I'll be brave.  I'll be brave, Father."  


Agnes has asked Bartholomew for permission to marry her love, William.  Bartholomew can't understand why she would choose him, a "pasty-faced scholar."  Bartholomew: "What use is he?"  Agnes, however, is deeply in love and sees William's heart: "He's got more inside of him than any man I've ever met."  Bartholomew tries once more to convince Agnes to change her mind, but it is made up.  Agnes insists that she has chosen to live with her heart open: "He loves me for what I am, not what I ought to be."  Bartholomew: "Then, marry him you shall."

Agnes has just given birth to twins.  The firstborn is a healthy baby boy.  The second appears to be a stillborn daughter.  The midwife tries to quickly take the dead child away but Agnes insists on holding her.  Mary: "The child has gone to heaven."  At this, Agnes looks up: "She's not gone to heaven.  I made a vow the night my mother died.  I will go to your church, but I shan't say a word."  Agnes looks down at her baby, who suddenly begins to move and make noises.  She gasps, overjoyed.  Her daughter lives.
