ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Out in the bus yard, Mr. Grooberson attaches jumper cables to the box and hands Phoebe a pair of cheap lab safety glasses.  Phoebe: "Two millimeters of plastic eye protection?  Are you sure this is safe?"  Grooberson, excitedly: "Safe?  No.  No...history is safe.  Geometry, that's safe.  Science is all particle accelerators and hydrogen bombs.  Science is giving yourself the plague and gambling on the cure."  Phoebe: "Science is reckless."  Grooberson: "Totally!  It's punk rock.  It's a safety pin through the nipple of academia."  Podcast: "Ouch."  Grooberson tells Podcast to start the bus's engine.  But, when he hits the pedal to open the box, nothing happens.  He walks up to the box and taps it with his fingers.  An enormous fiery demon bursts out of the box, shattering all of the windows of the bus, and flying away toward the hills.  The three stare, horrified, at the results of their experiment.  Car alarms are going off all around them.  Grooberson: "We should probably get out of here."  Phoebe: "You're an adult."  Grooberson: "Yeah.  And liable."  (Caution: scene may frighten some viewers)


Phoebe and Podcast are in an abandoned field, ready to test the ghost-busting weapon that Phoebe has found.  Phoebe, wearing the heavy pack, tells Podcast to turn on the switch.  A loud mechanical whirring sound comes from the pack.  Phoebe aims the weapon towards the targets that Podcast has set up across the field.  Not knowing what to expect, she steels herself to fire.  Podcast, who is recording the scene for his podcast, narrates dramatically: "Her feet are planted.  Her face is poised.  Will this be the moment of her death?  Nobody knows."  Phoebe fires.  A powerful beam of light explodes from the weapon and decimates the target and everything around it.  Phoebe, trying to see through the cloud of smoke: "Did I hit it?"  Podcast, excitedly: "You didn't hit it!  You destroyed it!  It doesn't even exist anymore!  My turn."

Grooberson has come to the store to buy ice cream.  As he stands at the freezer, making his selection, he hears a scream from the other side of the store.  He looks up for a moment, but doesn't hear anything else and so moves on to choose his ice cream toppings.  As he walks past the bags of marshmallows, he sees movement out of the corner of his eye.  One of the bags is jerking like something is inside it.  He bends closer to take a look.  To his astonishment, a tiny Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man breaks out of the bag.  The cute little creature yawns and stretches, as if waking from a long nap.  Grooberson stares, mouth wide open, as the little man smiles at him and waves.  But when Grooberson inevitably pokes his belly, the creature bites him.  Suddenly, tiny marshmallow men are everywhere, wreaking havoc among the groceries.


The three living original Ghostbusters once again are facing the terrible Gozer, ruler of the dead.  But when they turn their weapons on her, she quickly overpowers them.  The three men lay on the ground, recovering from her blow.  Phoebe picks up her weapon and fires the beam at Gozer.  Gozer returns fire and their beams lock together.  But how can one small girl defeat an enemy that overpowered three grown men?  Somehow, Phoebe is holding her ground and, suddenly, we see how.  Standing beside her, his ghostly arms wrapped around hers, is her late grandfather, the fourth original Ghostbuster.  He is holding her up, giving her the strength to fight.  With Phoebe holding Gozer, the other three Ghostbusters are able to join in the fight and together they defeat the evil spirit.  (Caution: s-word whispered)


Trevor and Lucky are sitting on a platform suspended over an old mine shaft.  Suddenly, the platform trembles and a growling sound is heard.  The two teens quickly hop off the platform and look down into the shaft.  They see flames and smoke and what appears to be a demonic face materialize out of the gloom.  The sound draws the other teens to look down the shaft.  Without warning, a flood of flames shoots out of the shaft and into the sky with a scream.  The teens jump back, terrified.  Their terror quickly fades into laughter as they mock each other for their fear.  (Caution: scene may frighten some viewers)

Mr. Grooberson arrives at the school at the same time a new parent is dropping off her middle-schooler.  Callie: "Can you imagine who've they got teaching summer school?"  Grooberson: "I can.  I teach here."  Callie, somewhat embarrassed, apologizes, but Grooberson isn't offended.  Grooberson: "Most of the kids that go here, they're not very bright.  I can kind of do whatever I want."  Callie: "Score."  Grooberson: "Right!  Dream job."  He walks into his classroom and introduces himself to the unenthusiastic students: "I know...you don't want to be here.  I don't want to be here either."  He holds up a copy of an old horror film on VHS: "It's called Cujo.  It's about a rabid Saint Bernard that...I don't want to give too much away.  But, imagine Beethoven if he contracted rabies and just started mauling children.  Enjoy."  He puts in the tape and leaves the room.
