ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 4,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  part of the ScreenVue Vault.

All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

The monsters descend on the town fair, wreaking havoc as the panicked classmates turn to Victor for help.

Mr. Burgermeister, the grumpy mayor of New Holland and the Frankenstein family’s neighbor, is Elsa’s uncle—and he wastes no time informing the somber girl that he’ll be in charge while her parents are gone.


Victor and his classmates are treated to an illuminating—if slightly morbid—lesson on thunder and lightning from their eccentric science teacher, Mr. Rzykruski.

The Frankenstein family is seated at the table for dinner.  Victor pulls out his science fair permission slip, asking his father to sign it.  Without answering, Mr. Frankenstein launches into a description of his job as a travel agent.  Father: "I sell dreams.  I tell people, 'You can sail to Italy.  You can do the hula in Hawaii.'"  Victor, again: "Will you sign my form?"  Father: "I'm getting to that.  In my job, sometimes you have people who don't want quite the same thing, right?  Say a husband wants to play golf in Scotland, but the wife wants to paddle down the Amazon.  All right, you've got two conflicting ideas here.  And it's my job, Victor, to help them meet halfway.  Say...Scottsdale, Arizona.  He gets to golf, she gets Indians."  Mrs. Frankenstein doesn't see how this solution fulfills either desire: "But there's no river.  And no jungle."  Victor: "Nobody gets what they want."  Father, brightly: "Exactly.  And wrong.  They both get what they want because they compromise."  Coming finally to the point of his analogy, Mr. Frankenstein agrees to allow Victor to participate in the science fair if he will agree to play a sport.  Father, chuckling: "You meet in the middle.  Everyone's happy."  Victor sighs unhappily.

Victor, a science "nerd," has been pressured by his father into joining a baseball team.  As they watch the pitcher, Toshiaki, strike out the batters, Victor's father coaches him in the art of concentration.  Victor recalls in his mind the words of his science teacher encouraging him to concentrate on his experiments.  Applying that instruction to his current situation, Victor smiles slightly and steps up to bat.  The first pitch, however, is intercepted by Victor's dog, Sparky.  Victor ties up his dog and then steps back up to the plate.  Victor swings and misses the first pitch.  His father yells encouragement from the dugout: "Nice try, son!"  In his mind, Victor again hears the words of his science teacher: "When conducting an experiment, trying is the important thing.  It is okay to fail as long as you keep trying!"  Victor again faces Toshiaki, who throws the ball.  Victor swings and misses.  Victor looks back at his friends and family watching the game.  He turns toward Toshiaki, looking determined.  Toshiaki, narrowing his eyes, throws the pitch.  Victor swings and makes a hit, sending the ball sailing high into the sky.  Time seems to stop for a moment as everyone on the field watches the ball sail higher and higher.  Even Victor is frozen in place, amazed at his own success, forgetting to run until his father shouts at him from the dugout.

Victor is up to bat in his first baseball game.  He swings at a pitch and hits the ball out of the park.  As he runs the bases, Victor's dog, Sparky, breaks free of his leash and chases after the ball.  Seeing that Sparky is headed toward the parking lot, Victor begins running after him.  Sparky retrieves the ball and begins running across the street toward Victor.  Victor arrives just in time to see Sparky get hit by an oncoming car.  Victor screams while his parents restrain him from running out into the street after his dog.

Victor is lying in bed, grieving over the loss of his beloved dog, Sparky.  His parents are trying to comfort him.  Mom: "He was a great dog.  A great friend."  Dad: "The best dog a kid could have."  Mom: "When you lose someone you love, they never really leave you.  They just move into a special place in your heart.  He'll always be there, Victor."  Victor: "I don't want him in my heart.  I want him here with me."  Victor rolls over to face the wall.  Mom: "I know.  If we could bring him back, we would."  Tucking Victor in, his mom kisses him: "Try and get some sleep, sweetheart, things will seem better in the morning."  After they leave, tears begin to fall down Victor's cheeks.  Getting out of bed, he goes to the television and watches old movies of Sparky.  A look of sadness settles on his face.  As night changes to morning, the scenes around him change, moving from the breakfast table, to the dinner table, to the car, to the classroom, but the look of sadness stays the same.  Finally, Victor is seated at his desk at school, drawing a picture of his beloved dog while the teacher lectures, unheard, in the background.

Victor is determined to bring back his beloved dog, Sparky, from the dead.  Wearing a lab coat, rubber gloves, and goggles, he has rigged out his attic like a scientist's laboratory.  Having tied several kites to his rooftop, he plans to use the electricity from the lightning storm raging outside to inject Sparky's body with new life.  Stopping for a moment to pat his dog's shrouded form, he narrows his eyes in determination.  Walking purposefully around the room, he adjusts levers, takes note of gauges, and activates just about every electrical appliance in the house.  Strapping Sparky's body to a pulley system, he lifts it toward the skylight.  Electrical sparks are travelling all around the room, jumping from blender to light bulb, to toaster.  Standing back, Victor watches Sparky's elevated body.  Suddenly, a huge lightning bolt strikes the kites, travelling down to electrify Sparky's body.  A shower of sparks rains down on Victor, who lowers Sparky back to the table.  Smoke rises from the shroud as Victor unhooks the pulley.  Taking out a stethoscope, Victor listens hopefully for the sound of a heartbeat.  Hearing nothing, he embraces Sparky's body, his tears rolling onto the shroud.  Suddenly, however, a tail begins to wag and a tongue lifts out to lick Victor's hand.  Sparky crawls out from the sheet, licking Victor's face.  Victor, joyfully: "You're alive!  You're alive!  Sparky!  You're alive!  I can't believe it!"  Boy and dog joyfully reunite.

Elsa is petting her dog, Persephone, when suddenly the evil cat, Mr. Whiskers, swoops down with his bat-like wings and carries off the helpless dog.  Victor and his dog, Sparky, witness the evil deed.  Victor runs off to follow Elsa while Sparky carries off Elsa's wig to get more help.  Dropping the wig at the feet of Victor's parents, Sparky barks, trying to ask for help in rescuing Persephone.  Elsa's uncle arrives, brandishing a torch and leading an angry mob.  Seeing his niece's wig in Sparky's mouth, Mr. Burgemeister immediately accuses Sparky of engineering Elsa's disappearance.  Woman, hysterically: "He's killed the little girl!"  Sparky barks and runs away, trying to get help to follow him toward Elsa.  Burgemeister, shaking his fist at Sparky: "After him!  Kill the monster!"

Victor's Mom is shocked to discover Sparky in the attic, causing the dog to flee. 


Victor’s mother calls him downstairs to meet his friend. In the kitchen, he finds Edgar waiting—already aware of Sparky—and quickly discovers he’s being blackmailed into teaching Edgar how to raise the dead.
