ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

At the top navigation of any page, there are links to see: "All Scene Ideas," or "All Scene Views," or "All Scene Downloads."

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Many years later after running away as a youngster and being adopted, Ferdinand reunites with his old bullies Valiente, Bones, and Guapo, who are impressed with how much he's grown!

When the matador's truck pulls into the farm, the young bulls excitedly race to catch a glimpse of it.   Valiente: "If that truck's here, it means the matador is going to pick a bull."   Ferdinand: "Who do you think he's going to pick?"   Valiente, smugly: "My dad.  And when my horns come in, it'll be my turn."  Valiente proudly describes his future self as a strong, heroic bull: "People will come from all over Spain just to see me, the great Valiente!"   Guapo pipes in, grinning broadly: "Dream on, Valiente.  I'm the one who's gettin' selected.  I'm already working on my victory smile."  Little Bones argues that he will be the chosen one: "Forget it, Guapo.  He's gonna pick me.  I'm the fastest, baddest bull around."   Valiente looks disdainfully at the little bull, telling him he'll never get picked: "You're a puny bag of bones, Bones."  He knocks Bones to the ground.

When Valiente sees Ferdinand protecting a small flower from being trampled, he smells weakness.  He knocks Ferdinand to the ground and begins to mock him.  He hovers a hoof over the blossom, threatening to stomp on it.  When Ferdinand asks him to stop, Valiente throws out a challenge: "Make me."  The other bulls chant excitedly: "Fight!  Fight!  Fight!"   Ferdinand walks forward boldly to guard the flower, but refuses to participate in violence: "I'm not gonna fight you, Valiente."   Valiente, taunting: "Aw, flower bull is scared."   Ferdinand: "I'm not scared."  Valiente: "Then fight!  That's what bulls do."   Ferdinand, quiet but firm: "You can hit me if you want, but leave the flower alone."  Guapo, astonished: "You're just gonna let him smack ya?"  Valiente won't admit it, but he's shaken by Ferdinand's quiet courage.  Valiente, backing down: "Whatever.  Have your stupid flower."

Ferdinand is sulking under his favorite tree, upset that Juan said he was too big to go to the flower festival in town.  Ferdinand, with a determined glare, decides to defy the farmer: "I'm going!"  He turns and walks a couple of paces toward town before stopping in his tracks.   "No, no, no.  Juan said no."   His glare disappears and he looks chagrined.   He turns around and walks back to the tree: "Juan said no, I'm not going.  It's settled."  Suddenly, he turns back around: "But Nina will be miserable without me.  She needs me!"  He takes a few steps toward town before again stopping.  Torn, Ferdinand struggles to make a decision: "But I need to go.  But I need to stay.  And go.  Stay.  Go."  Ferdinand is turning in circles.  "What do I do?  What do I do?  What do I do?  What do I do?"  Finally, he decides to leave the choice up to "fate."  He looks up at an orange hanging from a tree: "If that orange doesn't fall by the time I count to three, I'm going.  One..."   The orange falls.  Dissatisfied by the results, Ferdinand tries again, this time staring at a rock: "If that rock is still there by the time I - -"   A hawk swoops down and takes the rock.  Ferdinand glares furiously at the bird: "What could you possibly need that for!"   He tries a third time, this time staring at an egg: "If that egg doesn't hatch by the time I count to ten, I'm going.  One."   A crack appears in the egg.  Ferdinand speeds up his counting, blurting the remaining numbers before the chick can pop out of the egg.  Gleefully, he runs toward the flower festival.

Ferdinand, ducking into a doorway to avoid angry townspeople, accidentally finds himself inside a china shop.  The large bull looks around with trepidation at the small store crammed with every kind of breakable.  He tries to back out, but the way is too narrow.  Gently and carefully, he begins to tiptoe between the rows of dishes and trinkets.  The heavily-laden tables tremble with each step of his hoof.   Ferdinand, encouraging himself: "You are a feather.  A 2,000-pound feather."   Just as it seems as if he might succeed in escaping the store, the elderly shopkeeper mistakes his tail for a feather duster and begins to drag him around the room.  China begins to fall as horns, hips, and head strike the displays.  However, with extreme care, Ferdinand is able to catch and save every piece.  Until the nearly-blind lady dusts his nose.  Ferdinand sneezes, blowing the whole window display out of the shop.

Valiente smiles coldly at Ferdinand, welcoming him back to the ranch by promising to beat him to a pulp.  Ferdinand stares sadly as Valiente walks away.   Lupe: "Wow.  He really hates you.  That was insane."   Ferdinand, grieved: "They all hate me."  Lupe: "Yeah, they hate you.  They hate me.  They hate each other.  A lot of hate.  It crushes your soul if you let yourself think about it."   Unable to stop themselves, both Lupe and Ferdinand think about it, hanging their heads in sorrow.

Angus is staggering around the farmyard, bumping into things.  (His shaggy forelock covers his eyes.)  When he worries aloud that he will never be picked by the matador, Ferdinand tries to comfort him.  But Angus is still fearful: "Can I tell you my terrible secret?  Can I whisper it in your ear?"   Angus, blinded by fur, leans in toward a pitch fork: "I cannot see very well.  Once they find out, it's all over for Angus."  He begins to panic.  Ferdinand leans forward and licks Angus's fur, making it stand up.   Angus's eyes open wide: "I can see!"  Ecstatic, he begins to look around at all the things he'd never noticed before.  His eyes are drawn toward a beautiful vista.  The sun is shining down on the farm, sending rays of golden light over lush green fields.   Angus, sitting down to enjoy the view: "That's spectacular."   Ferdinand sits down next to him.   Angus, gratefully: "You've given me a fighting chance, Ferdinand.  Why would you do such a thing?"  Ferdinand: "If we don't look out for each other, who will?  Besides, it wasn't that big of a deal."   Angus, solemnly: "It was for me."

Ferdinand and Lupe are sneaking through the house, trying to escape the farm, when they see a wall filled with trophies of past bullfights.  Ferdinand looks sadly at the rows of horns from dead bulls, thinking of his father: "He really believed he could beat the matador.  All of them did."  Then, suddenly, as realization dawns: "The bull never wins."  Lupe tries to get Ferdinand to leave.  The front door is open and the path to freedom is clear.  But Ferdinand doesn't move.   Lupe: "Come on!  We gotta go now!"   Ferdinand: "No, I can't leave."  Lupe: "Ferd, this is your only chance!"  Ferdinand, determined to go back for the other bulls and tell them they are in danger: "The guys back there still think they can win.  I can't let them end up on that wall."   Ferdinand and Lupe rush back to the barn and tell the other bulls what they have seen.

Ferdinand is in the middle of the ring, waiting for the matador to return.  (The man has been trying unsuccessfully to get Ferdinand to fight and is now furious with the peace-loving bull.)  The matador enters the ring with two sharp javelins.  He repeatedly dives toward Ferdinand, trying to stab him, but Ferdinand is able to dodge the jabs.  With each unsuccessful strike, the matador becomes angrier and angrier.  Finally, one of his javelins strikes a glancing blow off Ferdinand's shoulder.  Reflexively, the bull howls in pain and attacks the matador, trapping him with his horns.  The helpless matador, hanging from Ferdinand's horns by his clothing, stares into the bull's angry eyes.  Suddenly, Ferdinand notices that he has inadvertently crushed a flower under his hoof.  He looks into the eyes of the matador, seeing the fear there, and feeling remorse for being the cause of it.  He puts the matador down and steps backward.  At first the matador looks amazed, and then angry, his pride suffering from the public humiliation of being beaten by a bull.  He lifts a sword and points it at Ferdinand, intending to kill him.  Ferdinand stares back at him for a few tense moments before sitting down, refusing to fight.  The matador again looks amazed, not knowing what to do with a bull who won't even defend himself.  Touched by Ferdinand's act of mercy, the audience calls out for the matador to be merciful.  The matador complies, giving a brief nod to Ferdinand before walking proudly out of the ring.

After Ferdinand is stung by a bee and accidentally destroys the town square, he is captured by Animal Control. Feeling he is still too dangerous, they place a calming goat into his cage to calm him - which utterly fails.
