ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. - Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Daisy enters carrying a cake to celebrate Mrs. Patmore’s retirement, and the room fills with warmth as everyone raises a toast to the long‑time cook. Turning to her protégé, Mrs. Patmore asks if Daisy feels ready to take on the responsibility herself: “When my time ends and yours begins.” Daisy, with concern, asks if that makes her feel sad. Mrs. Patmore admits, “A bit, but I don’t fight it. Our lives are lived in chapters, and nothing’s wrong when a chapter is done and a new one begins. It’s your time now, and I’m prouder of that than anything. You’re the daughter I never had.” Daisy, deeply moved, replies softly, “I’ll treasure those words. I will.”


When Tom casually mentions cattle plans at dinner, Lord Grantham suddenly explodes, his temper fueled by the lingering fear that everyone sees him as too old and set in his ways to guide the estate into the future. He lashes out, accusing Tom and the rest of the family of undermining his authority. Mary gently reminds her father that he himself had already named her “captain of the ship,” though he is clearly struggling to relinquish control. Tom, speaking kindly, tells him, “You’ve worked hard for many years. It’s time to put your feet up. Leave the heavy lifting to Mary.” Lord Grantham, bitter and wounded, demands, “And what am I to do? What is my job?” Unable to imagine life beyond his role as lord of the manor, he wrestles with the loss of identity that retirement would bring. Tom, steady and compassionate, reminds him that the world is changing quickly and the estate must change with it. “This is Mary’s time,” he insists, believing wholeheartedly that she has the vision and strength to secure the estate’s future—if only Lord Grantham can find the courage to let go.


When Lady Mary tells Guy to invite Barrow to join them for drinks, he is pleasantly surprised that she would allow a former servant to cross the boundary into the family’s upstairs world. Smiling, Guy remarks, “The old divisions don’t seem to mean as much as they did,” before he and Noel head downstairs into the domain of the common man. As Guy extends the invitation to Barrow, the staff reacts with the astonishment they had anticipated—none of them has ever been asked to socialize with the upstairs people. Every mouth falls open, every eye turns to Barrow, and Daisy voices their collective shock: “This really is the night that shook the world.” Barrow, almost apologetic, glances at Mr. Carson and says, “I suppose you think Lady Mary’s lost her moral compass?” To which Mrs. Carson gently replies, “Perhaps we should all have a different compass these days.” With that, Barrow accepts the invitation with quiet satisfaction and rises to join the men.


Bertie expresses his pleasure at finding a replacement cook, though he wonders aloud if the time is coming when they will all have to cook for themselves. Lady Mary quickly dismisses the idea with a firm, “Certainly not,” prompting Lady Edith to smile and tease, “One day, the twentieth century will catch up with you, Mary, and swallow you whole in a single bite.” Mary, ever defiant, replies, “Not if I see it coming.” The conversation shifts as Harold admits he will miss Downton when he leaves, and Edith reminds him, “But you love America.” Harold agrees, but reflects, “Oh yes, and we’re always being told that Europe’s yesterday and America’s tomorrow, but I don’t know. Sometimes I feel like the past is a more comfortable place than the future.” Lady Mary smiles at him with complete understanding, sharing in the sentiment.


Lady Mary is at a ball given for the Prince and Princess of England when she is approached by a very flustered Lady Petersfield.  In full view of all her guests, Lady Petersfield confronts Mary regarding the rumors of her recent divorce.  At the word "divorced," all eyes in the room turn towards Lady Mary.  The music stops and all other voices fade as everyone strains to listen to the scandal.  Mary admits that her divorce from her unfaithful husband came through this very day.  Lady Petersfield orders Mary to leave the ball: "The princess simply cannot be in the same room as a divorced woman!"  The Earl is flabbergasted: "You're chucking my daughter out of your house?"  Lady Petersfield expresses regret but insists that she can't risk the reputation of the royals (or herself).  The Earl and Lady Grantham are furious but Mary is apologetic.  She knew the social stigma she would be faced with when news of her divorce reached the ears of England.  Mary rushes out of the room, followed by her parents and Lady Petersfield.  Unfortunately, before they can leave, the royals arrive from another end of the hall.  Lady Petersfield shoves Lady Mary under the staircase to hide her from view while she simpers and bows before the princess.  Once the hostess escorts them upstairs, Lady Mary takes her leave of her parents: "I'll take a taxi.  If I can find one that will carry a divorced woman."

Isobel is helping Sir Hector plan the yearly village fair, though their approaches could not be more different. Sir Hector, staunchly old‑school, insists on preserving tradition and is firm in his opinions about how things should be run, while Isobel believes that fresh ideas could bring new life to the event. Despite the fact that Isobel outranks him, Sir Hector carries himself as though he is in charge. With a polite smile, Isobel says, “Well, I hope it won’t annoy you, but I do have some ideas of my own.” Sir Hector smiles back condescendingly and begins, “Really? If you take my advice—” but before he can finish, Isobel rises to her feet and cuts him off with pointed finality: “I shall be so grateful for your advice, Sir Hector...when I ask for it.” Without waiting for a reply, she leaves the room, making her authority unmistakably clear.

Lady Mary sees the last of the family off before taking her place as mistress of Downton Abbey. Lady Edith kisses her sister goodbye, offering her approval with quiet conviction: “Every time a place like this passes to the next generation, it’s a victory in itself.” Mary responds with a resolute, “Long live Downton Abbey,” to which Edith warmly replies, “Amen to that.” Left alone at last, Mary gazes around the great house that holds so many memories. In her mind’s eye, she begins to see images of the past—loved ones in moments of joy, Granny whose recent death still weighs heavily on the family, and her sister Sybil, gone much longer yet still deeply missed. With a bittersweet smile, Mary turns and walks away, carrying both the weight of history and the promise of the future.
