ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Don and Bob, two BP executives, are in the conference room, looking over expense sheets.  Jimmy and Mike interrupt their meeting, furious that the men cancelled the important cement test.  Jimmy, feigning ignorance: "So, we got all five hundred feet of cement poured, huh?"  Don, grinning: "Yep."  Jimmy: "That cement's the only thing between us and a blowout.  And it's cured?"  Don, unhesitatingly: "Yes."  Jimmy: "Had enough time, huh?  Takes time to do it right.  I mean, if that cement job is compromised, then everything above it is, too."  Don and Bob assure Jimmy that the cement is secure.  When Jimmy tries to ask about the cement test, the men cleverly evade a direct answer, still insisting the cement is fine.  Jimmy, chuckling humorlessly: "You guys are just like my granddad.  He never even went to the dentist 'cause he didn't wanna know all what was wrong, 'cause then he'd have to deal with it."  He accuses the two executives of deliberately hiding their heads in the sand because they are already millions of dollars overbudget.  Jimmy, disgusted: "What would it have cost you to run that test?  125 grand?  You're a 180 billion dollar company and you're cheap!"  Don, smiling: "That's why we a 186 billion dollar company."  (Caution: s-word used)

Don has come to Mike's office to question him about the operational status of the oil rig.  Mike, hoping that honesty will be appreciated: "You really want my take?"  Don: "I do."  Mike: "Okay.  I think you all are trying to run out of fuel as the wheels touch down.  Running out of gasoline as the plane lands is not smart.  It's flawed thinking.  It's hope as a tactic."  Don stands to leave, but notices a photo of Mike noodling for catfish and comments on it.  Mike: "You know what's funny?  When we go noodling, my best friend Peanut and I...we look for the biggest, darkest, blackest hole we can stick our arm in.  And we hope one of them...bites down on us as hard as he can so we can rip his a-s out of that hole.  We wanna get bit.  That's the plan.  Difference is, we're ready for that bite.  We are ready.  We're wearin' shoes, hats, gloves, skullcaps, sunglasses, and we are ready.  I don't stick my hand in that hole with that monster and hope for the best.  Uh-uh.  Hope ain't a tactic, Don."  (Caution: a-word used twice, b-word used)

While Andrea sends out a distress call, the pressurized mud from the ocean bed bursts through the pipes, flooding the decks.  Debris begins to rain down on the men trapped at their workstations.  Inside his office, Mike is alert to some kind of danger.  Slowly, he walks toward the door, creaking sounds coming from all around.  Inside the engines, the pistons fire with increasing speed until, suddenly, they jam.  In the next instant, the engines explode, sending a wave of flame rushing up through the rig.  The shockwave bursts down the hallway outside Mike's office, crushing walls and shattering windows.  Just before Mike can reach the door, it implodes, thrusting him backward and throwing him to the floor.  In the living area, Jimmy is in the shower.  The pressure from the explosion bursts through the pipes, throwing his body around the room like a rag doll.  The fire shoots through the ducts, all through the rig until finally, the entire structure explodes in flames.  (Caution: gd-word used, Lord's name spoken in vain)

The employees of the oil rig are gathered on the platform, waiting for their spots on the lifeboats.  Dale's turn comes and Ken calls out to him: "The boat's leaving!"  But Dale has just seen that the other men on the platform are in serious danger.  The crane that he operates has come loose and is swinging back and forth, threatening the knock the flaming derrick onto the platform where the survivors are waiting.  Dale stares at the crane in horror.  Ken: "Get on the boat, now!"  Dale, running back onto the flaming rig: "I gotta stop it or it's gonna kill us all."  Ken cheers his friend on as Dale climbs the ladder amidst the flames and enters the crane compartment.  With some effort, Dale succeeds in locking the crane into a safe position.  But, before he can descend the ladder, a flaming piece of debris comes loose and crashes into the crane compartment.  Ken watches in horror as Dale's body falls into the fiery water below.  (Caution: gd-word used, s-word spoken quietly)

Mike and Andrea are the last two people left on the flaming oil rig.  Mike has brought Andrea to the very top, hoping that they will be able to jump far enough to clear the flames in the water below.  Andrea drops to her knees, hopelessness overwhelming her, and begins to sob.  Mike, hoping to distract her from her terror, starts to talk with her about her beloved Mustang.  While he talks, he puts a life jacket first on Andrea and then on himself.  Andrea is still crying, so Mike gets her attention: "Look at me!  We came out higher so we can jump out further.  Okay?  We're gonna jump over the fire."  Andrea, whimpering: "No, no.  I can't!"  Mike takes her face firmly in his hand and tells her that she can: "Trust me.  We're not gonna hit the fire, you hear me?"  Andrea, practically blubbering in abject fear: "I don't wanna die.  I don't wanna die."  Mike, calmly: "You're not gonna die."  Andrea continues to cry, so Mike hauls her to her feet and shouts: "Our choice right now is to burn or jump!"  Mike tries a number of different tactics to talk Andrea into jumping, but none of them work.  She is too terrified.  Finally, he waits until she is distracted and then throws her over the edge, following close behind.  After a few moments of struggle in the water, both emerge, alive.

The Coast Guard has just arrived on the scene of the disastrous oil rig explosion.  The survivors of the blast of huddle together onboard a nearby ship, reeling from the shock of their recent ordeal.  Tired, bloodied faces watch the rescue team land and carry off the most seriously injured.  The rig captain tells all of the men to kneel on the deck of the boat.  Heads bowed, hands on each others' shoulders, the men begin to pray the Lord's Prayer, ending with: "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."  In the background, the oil rig continues to burn.
