ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Heidi and Joyce are sitting in their sons' classroom, in a conference with their teacher.  To the mothers' dismay, the teacher tells them she believes both boys have ADD.  She goes on to describe a lack of reading proficiency and an inability to focus, advising the moms to consider medication.  Both women are angered at the suggestion, particularly Joyce: "So, you're telling me that I need to drug my child to make your job easier?"  Teacher: "If you don't medicate them now, they'll just self-medicate later."  Angry, the women get up to leave.  Teacher, calling after them as they walk away: "You know, boys of single moms, it's just statistics, but, statistically, they are more likely to develop problems."  Joyce turns back: "My God is bigger than your statistics."

Spencer is in his bedroom when his mom enters, furious.  She has just heard from a neighbor that Spencer and another boy covered her house in toilet paper.  Spencer, his head hanging: "I'm sorry.  I didn't think she could see us."  Mom: "So that makes it okay?  You can do what you want as long as you don't get caught?"  With all of Spencer's recent trouble at school, Joyce has had enough: "It is getting harder and harder to come in here, because every time I do, I just leave disappointed!"  Joyce leaves the room, slamming the door behind her.  Spencer looks remorseful.  Later, he kneels beside his bed in prayer: "Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.  Where there is hatred, let me sow love.  Where there is injury, pardon.  Where there is darkness, light.  And where there is sadness, joy.  For it is in giving that we receive.  It is in pardoning that we are pardoned.  And it is in dying that we are born into eternal life."

When Spencer tells his best friend Anthony of his decision to try out for the Air Force Pararescue team, he is surprised at Anthony's lukewarm response.  When he asks Anthony why he's not more excited, Anthony is as bluntly honest as only a close friend can be.  Spencer is overweight and notorious for quitting when things get tough.  Spencer: "So, you don't think I can do it, then?"  Anthony: "No one thinks you can't do it.  We just don't think you will."  Instead of taking offense at his friend's judgment, Spencer decides to use it as motivation to succeed.  From then on, he disciplines himself with the goal of getting in shape for the Air Force.  He eats right, works out, lifts weights, and trains his mind and body to be ready.  While he trains, an Air Force officer is heard speaking to the new recruits: "Once you begin to discover who you are, then you will really realize how you have been given authority over your life.  But you can only do that through the struggle of life.  And most people avoid the struggle.  Most people go through life avoiding pain.  When you're working on a dream, at some point in time, a transition takes place.  Something in you that you never activated lies dormant in there.  You learn how to leap higher.  You start challenging yourself to dig deeper.  You don't need anybody to approve your dream.  Do what you know is right.  Don't try and take any shortcuts.  Pay your dues.  We've been chosen for this great work."  Testing day arrives and Spencer completes all the physical challenges the Air Force requires.  Officer, checking over the results of Spencer's tests: "Ninety-six.  You did it.  You passed.  Congratulations."  Spencer walks out of the gymnasium with his head held high.  (Caution: d-word used)

When Spencer receives the list of jobs he has qualified for in the Air Force, he is dismayed to see his dream job is not on it.  He questions the job recruiter, certain that his scores and athletic abilities were high enough.  The recruiter looks in his file, telling Spencer that tests revealed he didn't have the depth perception necessary for the job.  Spencer is crushed.  Later that night, he vents to his mother: "A year I punish myself, and for what?"  Joyce sits Spencer down, telling her son it's going to be okay.  Spencer, frustrated: "No, it's not going to be okay!  Why did I even work so hard in the first place?"  Spencer stands up to walk out of the room: "You know, I haven't really accomplished much with my life.  At least before I could say it was because I hadn't really tried.  Now I can't even say that.  I tried and I failed.  This is worse!"

Anthony and Spencer are standing on a rooftop, overlooking Venice.  Spencer, thoughtfully: "You ever feel like life is just catapulting you towards something?  Some greater purpose?"  Anthony laughs, looking at the smoking stub in Spencer's hand: "You sure that's just a cigarette?"  Spencer: "I'm serious.  Sometimes I don't even feel like I have a choice, you know.  Like life is just pushing us toward something."  (Caution: smoking, drug reference)

The quiet train car is suddenly noisy as several men burst through the door together.  One of them, a terrorist, is heavily armed and several male passengers are trying to wrestle away his weapon.  One succeeds in taking a gun, but is quickly shot in the back as the terrorist pulls out another weapon.  Spencer and Alek, who had been wearing headphones, are startled by the sound of the gunfire.  Quickly, they dive to the ground and peer around their seats.  They watch as the terrorist picks up the stolen gun from next to the wounded man.  Alek, urgently: "Spencer, go!"  Without hesitation, Spencer starts to sprint directly toward the man holding the AK-47.  The terrorist lifts the gun, points it at Spencer, and fires.  Surprisingly, the weapon fails, clicking harmlessly.  Before the man can finish checking the ammunition, Spencer has tackled him to the floor.  (Caution: violence may disturb some viewers)

The President of France addresses a small assembly gathered to honor the heroes of the 15:17 train to Paris.  The four men stand near the podium as the President honors their courage in the face of terrorism: "Today, we are here to celebrate four men who, by their courage, saved lives.  In the name of France, I want to thank you for what you did.  Since Friday, the entire world has come to admire your courage, your calm under pressure, your spirit of responsibility.  Your heroism must be an example for all, and a source of inspiration.  Faced with the evil of terrorism, there is the good of humanity that you incarnate.  Anthony Sadler, you summed up better than anyone what should be learned from this lesson.  You said, 'In a moment of crisis, I would like people to understand that you have to do something.'  Yes.  You have to do something."  The President himself then pins a medal on the chest of each of the men, bestowing on them the highest honor of France.
