ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

At the top navigation of any page, there are links to see: "All Scene Ideas," or "All Scene Views," or "All Scene Downloads."

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

A list of MI6 secret agents embedded in foreign terrorist cells has been stolen.  Bond and Eve are in pursuit of the thief and have chased him onto a train.  While Eve follows in her car, Bond grapples with the thief on top of the speeding train, trying to wrest the list from his grasp.  Eve, reaching the end of the road, gets out of her car and aims her rifle at the two men.  Communicating with MI6 via radio, Eve gives updates on their progress.  Watching the men fighting through the sights of her gun, Eve tells M that she is unable to gain a clear shot.  The train is nearing a tunnel and about to disappear from sight.  Eve warns M that she will no longer be able to track the list.  M, with only seconds to decide before the train enters the tunnel, orders Eve to take the shot.  Eve steels herself, but hesitates: "I can't.  I may hit Bond."  M repeats the order and Eve obeys.  The bullet hits Bond, knocking him off the train and over the bridge, into the water far below.  The thief escapes safely into the tunnel.  M and the other agents at MI6 await the outcome, hearing nothing but silence.  Finally, Eve speaks: "Agent down."

M has been summoned to the office of the new chairman to give an account for the epic failure of her department in a recent mission.  Mallory: "Three months ago, you lost the computer drive containing the identity of almost every NATO agent embedded in terrorist organizations across the globe."  Mallory tells the long-time MI6 agent that she must begin to plan her retirement.  Mallory: "Your country has only the highest respect for you and your many years of service."  Attempting to sooth over the wound of forced retirement, he congratulates M on the honors she will be awarded upon the end of her term.  M sees through to the heart of the matter: "You're firing me."  Mallory again couches the painful sentence in soft political terms, but M cuts him off: "I'm not an idiot, Mallory.  I know I can't do this job forever.  But I'll  be d----d if I'm going to leave the department in worse shape than I found it."  Mallory encourages her to give up while she still has something left: "M.  You've had a great run.  You should leave with dignity."  M: "Oh, to h--l with dignity.  I'll leave when the job's done."  (Caution: h-word used, d-word used)

James Bond is sitting in a crowded bar, a scorpion on his wrist and a drink in front of him.  Surrounded by locals who are cheering and waving bet money, James slowly and carefully raises the glass toward his lips.  The scorpion, disturbed by the movement, lifts its tail in preparation to strike.  The crowd silences in tense anticipation.  James resumes raising the glass and the crowd again begins to yell.  His eyes unwavering from the scorpion, James steadily drains his drink.  The glass empty, he flicks the scorpion to the bar with a quick movement and covers it with his glass.  The crowd cheers and toasts his success.

James Bond is sitting in a museum, staring at a picture of an old ship while he waits for instructions from his new Quartermaster.  A very young man sits down to next to James, remarking on the picture: "Always makes me feel a little melancholy.  A grand old warship being ignominiously hauled away for scrap.  The inevitability of time, don't you think?  What do you see?"  James, unwilling to make small talk with a stranger, grunts a response before beginning to move away.  Q stops him: "007."  James sits back down, surprised.  Q: "I'm your new Quartermaster."  James, disgusted: "You must be joking."  Q: "Why, because I'm not wearing a lab coat?"  James, referring to the agent's extreme youth: "Because you still have spots."  Q: "My complexion is hardly relevant."  James: "Well, your competence is." Q, believing James and his generation to be antiquated to the point of virtual uselessness: "Age is no guarantee of efficiency."  James, distrustful of one so young and inexperienced: "And youth is no guarantee of innovation."  Q, supremely confident in his own skill: "I'll hazard I can do more damage on my laptop sitting in my pajamas before my first cup of Earl Grey than you can do in a year in the field."  James: "Oh, so why do you need me?"  Q: "Every now and then, a trigger has to be pulled."  James: "Or not pulled.  It's hard to know which in your pajamas."  James and Q smile at one another, having gained a mutual respect for each others' usefulness.

Silva has James tied up and is holding him in an abandoned building.  He approaches his captive and tells a story from his childhood to illustrate why he blames M for his decision to turn to evil.  As a boy, his grandmother owned an island that had become infested with rats.  To be rid of the rats, she buried an empty oil drum in the ground, covered with coconut as bait.  Within a month, all of the rats had fallen into the drum and were trapped inside.  Silva: "But what do you do then?  Throw the drum into the ocean?"  Silva explains that they left the rats in the drum until they were forced to eat each other or starve.  They left them there until there were only two rats left..."the two survivors," and then they released the rats into the woods to kill off any other rats that might possibly invade in the future: "Now they only eat rat.  You have changed their nature."  Silva, referring to their mutual boss, M: "The two survivors.  This is what she made us."  James: "I made my own choices."  Silva chuckles at Bond's sense of free will: "You think you did.  That's her genius."  Silva mocks James for his continuing loyalty to his country and to his leader: "You're still clinging to your faith in that old woman."

Silva, holding James prisoner on his deserted island, offers the secret agent a piece of the power he possesses: "If you wanted, you could pick your own secret missions, as I do.  Name it."  Silva walks over to an active computer, clicking a single button: "Destabilize a multinational by manipulating stocks...bip.  Easy."  Silva walks over to another computer, clicking a different button: "Interrupt transmissions from a spy satellite over Kabul...pop.  Done."  Silva offers another idea for instant tyranny:  "Rig an election in Uganda, all to the highest bidder."  James, referring to the recent attack on MI6: "Or a gas explosion in London."  Silva nods, boasting at the ease with which he exerts his power over the world: "Just point and click."

M is testifying before an investigative committee that is deliberating whether or not to disband MI6's secret agent division.  At the same time she testifies, Silva is carrying out his secret plot to attack the government building and kidnap M.  M, to the committee: "Today I've repeatedly heard how irrelevant my department has become.  Why do we need agents?  The Double-O section?  Isn't it all rather quaint?  Well, I suppose I see a different world than you do.  And the truth is that what I see frightens me."  Silva, armed and dressed as a police officer, speeds toward his destination.  M: "I'm frightened because our enemies are no longer known to us.  They do not exist on a map.  They are not nations.  They are individuals.  Look around you.  Who do you fear?"  At that moment, Silva and his men enter the  building and kill the security guards.   M: "Can you see a face?  A uniform?  A flag?  No.  Our world is not more transparent now.  It's more opaque.  It's in the shadows.  That's where we must do battle.  So, before you declare us irrelevant, ask yourselves, how safe do you feel?"  Before M stands to leave, she quotes from Tennyson, stressing the need for England to stand firm against their hidden enemies: "...strong in will.  To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."  Silva and his men burst into the room, firing upon anyone who moves toward them.  M stands unflinchingly, staring at Silva bravely while he points his gun at her head.
