ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 4,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Mary wakes up one morning and calls to her nanny.  Receiving no answer to her repeated cries, Mary begins to walk around the house, looking for someone to take care of her.  Everywhere are signs that some struggle has occurred.  Vases and furniture are overturned, dishes are broken, and household objects are littered around outside the house.  Mary realizes she is utterly alone.  She is sitting outside, looking lost and forlorn, when she hears the sound of gunshots from somewhere nearby.  (Mary is in India, which is warring with Pakistan.)  Now, fear creeps over Mary's face.  Later that night, she talks to her doll, telling her a story of two little girls: "One day, their mother and father were kidnapped by the evil demon Ravenna, leaving them all alone."  The next morning (or perhaps a number of mornings later), Mary gets up and forages for food amongst the scattered remains of moldy food that were abandoned by the family and servants.  It appears as if many days have passed, as Mary now filthy.  Hearing gunshots nearby, Mary wanders aimlessly down the halls of her home.  Suddenly, a soldier bursts into the house.  Later, Mary is listening from the hallway as the soldier speaks with his superiors about Mary's situation.  And this is how Mary learns her parents are dead and she is an orphan.

Martha unlocks Colin's bedroom door so Mary and Dickon can take the invalid out for a walk.  Upon seeing the children, Dickon immediately begins to scream at the top of his lungs, refusing company of any kind.  When Mary threatens to never come back, Colin quiets, but he looks at the two suspiciously.  Colin, realizing that the two intend to take him out, blurts: "I'm not going!"  But Mary and Dickon are firm in their intention.  They walk toward the bed.  Colin again calls out, louder: "I'm not going!"  Mary, continuing to walk toward the bed: "When we tried to fix the dog, he refused us too."  When Mary and Dickon begin to put Colin in his wheelchair, Colin begins to scream, but Mary covers his mouth: "I promise you we won't kill you."  Colin, angrily: "You can't promise anything of the kind!"  Mary, believing that being outside in the garden is better than lying in a bed all day: "You'll die in this bed, and all you'll have seen is the wallpaper.  Is that really want you want?"  Colin still looks disturbed but allows the children to wheel him out of the house.  As Mary wheels him toward the garden, Colin is filled with fear.  He makes himself cough so she'll stop, but Mary isn't having it.  She scolds him and continues wheeling him toward the garden.  She wheels faster and faster and Colin is frightened.  Just at the moment when they reach the wall around the garden, Dickon opens it in front of them.  Inside, everything looks golden.  A beautiful canopy of yellow leaves arches overhead and Colin looks up at it in amazement.  His fear begins to melt away.  He smiles.


Mary, having learned that her mother had been a twin, asks Martha to tell her about her deceased aunt.  Surprised that Mary has never heard of her, Martha tells the young girl how close the twins had been growing up: "Thick as thieves, they were."  In her mind's eye, Mary can see the two young women laughing together.  Martha, with a tone of deep sympathy: "Your poor mother.  I don't know how she coped to lose her.  I don't think she ever recovered."  (While Mary's mother lived in India, her twin had died back in England.)  Now, Mary thinks back on things from her childhood that she never understood...why her mother was suddenly so sad all of the time.  The first memory shows us Mary's mother lying on a couch, looking depressed.  Mary starts to approach, wanting to show her mother her story, but her mother waves her away: "I want to be alone."  Mary's face falls.  In the next memory, Mary is pounding desperately on her mother's locked bedroom door, crying out for her mother.  Her mother only tells her to go away.  Mary's father has to physically tear her away from her mother's door.  Mary, crying: "Why won't she see me?  What's wrong with me?"  Father: "She's just sick, that's all."  Mary, angry now with her pain and feelings of rejection: "Then why doesn't she get on and die, leave us all alone!"

Mary and her dog are in the secret garden when a little songbird captures their attention.  The bird is acting strangely and appears to want Mary to notice something.  It lands on a stone pedestal that has a carved hole inside.  The bird then enters and exits the hole, chirping and indicating that Mary should check inside.  The dog brings Mary a stick, which she pokes into the hole.  Pulling the stick back out with a twist, Mary is surprised to see an old, moss-covered key attached to it.


Mary is leading Mr. Craven out of the burning house when he collapses to the ground.  Flames are all around them and he feels too weak to continue.  He begs Mary to leave him behind.  Mary refuses: "Your son needs you!"  Mr. Craven appears unable to move until, suddenly, he sees a vision of his dead wife.  She holds out her hand to him and runs ahead toward safety.  Mr. Craven and Mary follow.  The apparition leads the two into a room filled with fire.  This time, it is Mary who sees someone.  She sees a vision of her dead mother, who seems to walk through the wall on the other side of the room.  Mary and Mr. Craven follow and, pushing their way through the wall, they find a staircase behind it that leads them back down to the foyer of the house.  They fall down the staircase, landing on the ground.  Both appear unconscious for a moment.  When Mary awakens, her mother is smiling down at her.  With eyes filled with love, Mary's mother reaches out a hand and touches her daughter's cheek.  She kisses her on the forehead.  Just then, several people arrive to help Mary and Mr. Craven out of the house and Mary's mother seems to disappear.  Before leaving the house, Mary turns to look back.  The twin ghosts are standing on the landing of the staircase, watching her leave.
