ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

After making a few cracks about the way the boys smell, Ercole shoves Alberto into a wall, knocking him to the ground.  When Luca tries to stop the bully from hurting his friend, Ercole shoves Luca away and continues persecuting Alberto.  He punches him in the stomach, telling him to get out of town.  Just then, a shaky Luca thrusts a harpoon in Ercole's direction: "Let him go!"  Ercole is forced to comply, but he shouts at the boys as they run away: "Nobody wants you here, idioti!" 


Alberto and Luca have built their own ramshackle version of a scooter.  Alberto, pushing the scooter, leads a frightened Luca to the top of a hill overlooking the ocean.  At the bottom of the hill is a wooden ramp on the back of a moving turtle.  Alberto, urging Luca to hop on the back of the scooter: "Come on!  He's faster than he looks!"  Luca tries to gather the courage necessary to climb onto the rust-bucket, but he cannot: "Nope.  I can't do it.  Never in a million years."  Alberto, encouragingly: "I know your problem.  You've got a Bruno in your head."  Luca, confused: "A Bruno?"  Alberto: "I get one too, sometimes.  'Alberto, you can't.  Alberto, you're gonna die.  Alberto, don't put that in your mouth!'  Luca, it's simple.  Don't listen to stupid Bruno!"  Luca: "Why is his name Bruno?"  Alberto, telling Luca the name of the discouraging voice doesn't matter, advises Luca to bid it be silent: "Say, 'Silenzio, Bruno!'"  Luca, weakly: "Silenzio, Bruno."  Alberto: "Louder!"  Luca, raising his voice: "Silenzio, Bruno."  Alberto, yelling: "Silenzio, Bruno!"  Luca, yelling also: "Silenzio, Bruno!"  Alberto: "Can you still hear him?"  Luca: "Nope!  Just you!"  Alberto, thrusting Luca onto the bike: "Good.  Now, hang on!"  The two boys plunge down the hill, a terrified Luca repeating to himself, over and over: "Silenzio, Bruno!  Silenzio, Bruno!  Silenzio, Bruno!"  At last, the bike sails off the ramp.  For a blissful few moments, Luca sees the beauty in risk as he experiences an excitement he never has before.  The bike sails through the air in slow motion and Luca's eyes widen as he flies among the seagulls.  A second later, however, they plunge into the ocean, barely missing a huge boulder.  But, they emerge from the water victorious, having conquered fear: "Take that, Bruno!"


Luca is at Alberto's house when he sees hash marks covering almost all of one wall.  He goes up to the roof, where Alberto is sitting sadly by a fire.  Luca: "What are those marks on the wall?"  Alberto, sighing: "I started when my dad left."  Luca, shocked: "You were living here alone for that many days?"  Alberto, sniffling: "I just stopped counting after awhile.  He said I was old enough to be on my own.  I just thought that...maybe he'd change his mind."  Tears fill Alberto's eyes: "Honestly, though, I get it.  He's better off without me.  You are, too."  Luca protests: "That's not true!"  But Alberto, abandoned by his only family, believes that he is not worth caring about: "I'm just the kid that ruins everything."  Despite Alberto continuing to push him away, Luca refuses to abandon his friend.  Instead, he vows to win the town race so they can earn enough money to travel the world together.  


Alberto and Luca are speeding down the town streets on their bike, in a race against Guilia and Ercole.  Ercole, who has discovered that the boys are really sea creatures, chases after them with a harpoon.  Guilia chases after him, intent on saving her friends.  When Ercole throws his harpoon, narrowly missing the boys, Guilia has had enough.  she speeds ahead and rams her bike into Ercole.  Both are thrown to the ground.  They have landed almost at the edge of the sea, where the townspeople have gathered to greet the winner of the race.  The townspeople are horrified to see Alberto and Luca in their true form, and the boys briefly consider leaping into the sea to escape.  But they cannot leave their friend while she might be hurt.  They stop their bike and run back to Guilia, helping her to stand.  Guilia's father, judging the boys on their sea-serpent-like appearance, grabs a harpoon to defend his daughter from the assumed beasts.  But when he sees them gently help her up, he stops, astonished.  The other townspeople don't stop, however, and then slowly close in on the boys with their harpoons raised.  At this point, Ercole leaps to his feet and runs toward Alberto and Luca: "I saw them first!"  He brandishes his weapon threateningly.  Luca: "We're not afraid of you!"  Ercole, spitefully: "No, but we're afraid of you.  Everyone is horrified and disgusted by you, because you are monsters!"  Guilia, putting herself between Ercole and the boys: "Stop!  They are not monsters!"  Ercole, looking around at the crowd: "Oh, yeah?  Who are they, then?"  Guilia's father steps forward: "I know who they are.  They are Luca and Alberto.  And they are..."  He grabs Alberto by the arm: "They are the winners!"  The crowd gasps, but Guilia smiles.


Alberto and Luca share a dream.  The desire of their hearts is to own a Vespa and travel the world.  They sit beside the sea, imagining what it would be like if their dream came true.  In Luca's mind, he sees himself and Alberto, breezing along under blue skies on a bright red Vespa.  They are surrounded by fields of beautiful flowers in which wild Vespas romp.  An enormous ramp leads them to the sky, where they fly among the stars, which turn out to be luminescent fish.  They sail up to the moon, which is an enormous, glowing sea creature.  Luca touches the moon joyfully before looking back.  His dream turns suddenly into a nightmare as Alberto has disappeared and the Vespa is falling back to Earth.  Luca screams as he falls with it.  Suddenly, he jerks out of his dream, realizing he has fallen asleep.


Luca, who has never been on land before, hesitatingly follows Alberto to the surface.  He watches in astonishment as his fish-like body changes before his eyes and appears human.  He looks at Alberto, who is casually standing on two legs like he's done it all his life.  Luca tries to get up, but instantly flops back to the sand like a beached fish.  Alberto: "Right.  Walking.  Don't worry.  You're in luck.  I basically invented it."  Alberto determines to teach Luca how to walk.  "To start, stack everything one on top of the other.  Like a pile of rocks."  Obediently, Luca picks himself up, a part at a time, and successfully comes to a standing position.  Alberto, claiming walking is just like swimming, tells Luca to give it a try.  Luca wiggles awkwardly and falls on his face.  Alberto, switching tactics: "Try to lead with your head."  Luca crouches like a zombie.  Alberto: "No, more belly."  Luca, on shaky legs, bends almost backward before falling again.  Alberto: "How 'bout this?  Just take a step without even thinking about it."  Luca: "I don't know how to not think about something!"  Alberto moves in to demonstrate: "Just point your feet to where you want to go and then you just catch yourself before you fall."  Alberto illustrates with several steps.  Luca, following his direction, takes a number of shaky steps: "I'm getting it!"
