ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

With rock music blasting in the background, a man on a dirt bike speeds down a street.  He glances back at the several police cars chasing him, then hits the throttle to increase his speed.  He ducks, barely making it under a closing railroad crossing bar, then swerves quickly as another police car joins the chase in front of him.  With police in the front and back, the biker quickly turns into a driveway, laughing at his successful escape.  His laughter fades as he realizes he's about to smash through a fence.  He makes it through safely, however, and races through the back yard.  Using a slide as a ramp, he attempts to leap over the fence and make his way back to the road.  Unfortunately for him, a swimming pool is on the other side.  The bike and rider land in the water with a huge splash.  The biker surfaces to find two angry officers staring down at him.  He smiles, undaunted, and invites them for a swim.

Teenager Sean and his stepfather Hank have just arrived on the island of Palau and are looking for a boat to charter.  Sean quickly approaches a captain busy with his nets.   Sean, speaking loudly and enunciating crisply: "Excuse...us.  We, uh, we...Americans..."  Sean begins gesturing to give further aid to his attempt at communication with a native: "Uh, you...tour guide?"  Hank tries to interrupt Sean, but Sean waves him away: "I got this."  Sean continues gesturing at the captain:  "You.  You...take...us...on...boat.  On...water."   Captain, in an American accent: "You wanna charter a boat?"  Hank laughs at Sean's obvious embarrassment.  Hank enlightens his ignorant stepson: "The official language of Palau...English."

Hank and Sean have chartered a helicopter to take them to the fabled Mysterious Island.  As they approach the coordinates where the island should be, a powerful storm begins to brew around them.  Gabato, the pilot, stares in fear as huge streaks of lightning rip through the sky.  Hank watches tensely as Gabato struggles to maintain control of the helicopter in the increasing winds.  Breaking through a dark cloud, the helicopter is suddenly confronted by several huge, circling funnel clouds.  When a bolt of lightning barely misses them, Kailani tells Gabato they have to abandon their intended destination.   Sean stops them and reads from the book that brought them on this journey: "Wait!  The Mysterious Island, chapter one:  'The passengers had been taken into the circling movement of a column of air.'"  Hank, yelling back at his son: "We're about to fly into a Category 5 hurricane!  Now is not the time to take the book literally."  Sean still believes they must follow the book to find the island and make it safely through the storm: "We have to go into the eye of the hurricane to get to the island!"    Kailani: "Are you psychotic?  We'll never survive!"  Sean: "We gotta do it.  We gotta trust Verne (the author of the book)."  Hank and Gabato agree with Kailani, but it is suddenly too late to turn around.  Crucial parts begin to snap off the helicopter, and the four passengers find themselves plummeting toward the sea.  After a moment of blackness, Sean awakens to find Hank kneeling over him.  The four are lying safely on a quiet beach.  Sean: "I told you it would work."  Hank: "You were right.  I can't believe we made it."   Sean: "It's Jules Verne, man.  You gotta believe."

Hank and his friends are making their way across a boulder-strewn field when Hank's foot suddenly sinks into one of the large rocks they are standing on.  Hank pulls out his foot and a gooey substance coats his shoe.  He looks more closely at the rocks, realizing they are giant eggs.  Kailani fears they might be in danger: "Where there are giant eggs, there must be a giant mother."  Suddenly, the sounds of snoring reach their ears, and they turn to see a huge lizard sleeping in the ferns nearby.  They pick their way carefully over the eggs, hoping to escape without waking the mother lizard.  Unfortunately, Gabato falls through an egg, landing inside with the baby lizard.  The sound of the breaking egg wakes the mother, and she stands up, roaring fiercely at the humans.

After watching his stepson's failed attempt at attracting the beautiful Kailani, Hank decides to give the floundering boy some manly advice.  Hank, placing a hand on Sean's shoulder: "Hey, getting the attention of a woman is one of the hardest things in the world to do."  Hank takes a deep breath: "I've been waiting a long time to have this talk with you, buddy.  There are three things to know about understanding girls.  Number one:  don't follow your instincts."  Sean frowns in confusion.  Hank:  "Any other area in life - - instincts will get you there.  Not with women.  So, whatever you think you should do, do the opposite.  Number two:  you need to be open, sensitive.  Women don't want a man just because he's big and strong and has abs like mine.  No.  They want a thinker.  They want a feeler.  They want someone who can understand them.  And the third thing is the most important of all.  It's something that women have responded to for thousands of years."  Sean, tense with anticipation: "Well...tell me!"  Hank begins rhythmically flexing his pecs, making them bounce underneath his shirt: "You have got to do this."  Sean, looking disgusted: "What is that?"  Hank: "It's the pec pop of love."

After deciphering an old journal belonging to the legendary sea captain Nemo, Alexander determines the location of his hidden submarine.  Knowing that they must escape the island before it sinks into the ocean, Alexander gives his companions the choice of taking the longer but safer route along the shoreline, or travelling through the heart of the island to quickly find the submarine.  Alexander: "Let me warn you...the heart of this island is full of jagged mountains, dark jungles, and terrifying creatures who will give you nightmares."  He smiles: "So, who's up for an adventure?"  The group sets off on their journey, first climbing high cliffs overlooking an ancient city.  From the cliffs, they move across rocky mountains and into dense, misty jungles.  Once on the open plain, they see exotic plants and giant insects.  A smoking volcano looms in the distance.  Huge, majestic waterfalls pour down hills peppered with palm trees.

Sean is angry because his stepfather refused to allow him to go to the volcano in search of gold.  He stomps through the forest with Kailani trailing in his wake.  Kailani, catching up to him: "Hey, you okay?"   Sean, sounding bitter: "I don't need Hank trying to tell me what to do all the time."  Kailani smiles in understanding: "My dad's always trying to get involved too, but he usually ends up embarrassing me."  Kailani tells how her father once dropped copies of her resume from his helicopter in an attempt to help her job search.   Sean: "That's embarrassing.  Isn't that the worst when they try so hard?"  Unlike Sean, Kailani recognizes her dad's actions as evidence of his love: "No.  The worst would be if they didn't try at all."

Gabato is digging a large hole with his bare hands, trying to remove a giant boulder made of gold.  He pulls on the boulder with all his might, straining futilely to get it to move.  His daughter, Kailani, finds him and joins him in the hole.  Gabato tells her to go ahead to their ship and wait for him there.  (The island is hours away from sinking into the sea.)  Gabato continues trying to move the gargantuan nugget.  Kailani: "Stop!  Papa, stop!"   Gabato, near tears, finally stops pulling on the gold: "Baby, this is our one chance.  Our one chance to send you to college.  To give you a different life...a better life."   He resumes pulling on the boulder.  Kailani stops him again, bending to look him in the eye: "Papa.  We'll have all the wealth we'll ever need...just as long as we're together."   Gabato, moved, quits his efforts and leaves with his daughter.
