ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Al watches his son play with his toy soldiers and gets up to get himself another drink.  Richard, suddenly: "Did you ever shoot anybody?"  Al: "It's hard to know.  Everything happened so fast, it's just a blur.  You never really see the enemy, just the flash of a helmet." Al gets a faraway look in his eyes as he opens the liquor bottle: "Guy next to me, Carl Bolton, from Wesley, Ohio...saw him get his jaw blown off."  Richard: "What did you do?"  Al, looking strained: "I don't want to talk about it."  (Caution: h-word)


Single camera shot shows transformation of a plot of land beginning with the time of the dinosaurs and ending with modern man.


Young Vanessa comes to her mother in tears, upset that she has lost her treasured blue ribbon.  They look everywhere, but no one can find the prize.    Days later, a joyful Margaret finds her daughter's ribbon in between the couch cushions.  She excitedly calls Vanessa into the room: "Look what Mommy found!"  Richard enters the room and joins the celebration.  When he learns of the ribbon's resting place, he asks: "How did it get there?"  Vanessa, with a child-like faith: "God put it there."  Richard: "Oh, He did?"  Vanessa: "Because I prayed."  Richard: "Oh, well some people would call that a miracle."  


Margaret arrives home to a dark house.  Suddenly, the lights are flicked on, and a dozen of Margaret's friends pop out to wish her a happy 50th birthday.  Richard smilingly puts a cake in front of his wife, telling her to blow out the candles.  And then, what begins as a happy surprise suddenly opens the floodgates to Margaret's pain and lifetime of regret.  Margaret's speech starts innocuously enough, with a statement on the passing of time: "How time flies...when I was thirty, when I thought about fifty, I thought, 'That is an awful long way away,' and then I blinked, and I'm fifty!  I wish I could say that I've done more with my fifty years."  Margaret then contrasts her achievements with those of her daughter, who just made senior partner at her law firm: "The youngest to ever do so.  But I never made it to law school.  And I never got to see Paris in the spring..."  The gathered friends and family grow increasingly uncomfortable as Margaret begins to cry: "I put things off, and I kept putting them off.  And I would say, 'Oh, we'll do it next year,' and then that next year would come, and I'd say, 'Oh, next year...next year.'  And, I don't want to do that anymore."  Margaret begins to weep.  Richard, stiffly: "Blow out your candles."  She does, but several remain lit.  Time flashes forward and Margaret and Richard are sitting in their living room with a "life coach" who counsels them to divorce. Margaret arrives home from shopping to find Rose unconscious on the floor.  She has had a stroke.  Later, Al is pouring himself yet another drink, remembering Rose and crying.  He is talking about a recurring dream he has where Rose is drowning and he can't save her.  Al cries: "There's nothing I can do.  I'm not strong enough.  I'm weak, God help me.  God help me."  He stops in the act of pouring, suddenly seeming to understand the source of his weakness and realizing he means his agonized prayer for help.  He goes and gets a tub and begins putting his liquor bottles inside.


Richard is talking on the phone with Vanessa, who is away at college for the first time.  He is proud of his daughter, who is the first in the family to attend college.  Margaret comes in the room and takes the phone from her husband: "I sent you a new blanket, and some warm socks..."  Her words are cut off as Vanessa tells her she has to go.  Margaret hangs up the phone.  Richard: "Our daughter is in college.  Time sure flies, doesn't it?"  Margaret stares wistfully into the camera: "It sure does."  As we watch, her face ages, and a number of years have passed in a moment.  An older Richard enters the room.  Margaret: "It just seems like a moment ago she left for college.  And now...law school."  Richard: "Time sure flies, doesn't it?"


Margaret is walking across her living room when her water breaks.  She begs Jimmy to call her a taxi, but the frightened boy calls the fire department instead.  It is a fortuitous move, as the baby would never have waited until the hospital to be born.  A jovial firefighter claps a shell-shocked Jimmy on the back: "How do you like them apples, kid?  The circle of life.  You did good, kid."  Margaret joyfully greets her new baby daughter.  Hundreds, if not thousands of years earlier, on the very same spot, we see a Native American woman doing virtually the same thing.  She hands her new baby to its father, who lifts it up towards the moon.  Back in Margaret's time, Richard shows baby Vanessa the same moon.  Later, Margaret holds her daughter lovingly: "You make Mommy so happy."  (Caution: Lord's name used in vain)


Al and Rose are having their friends Virginia and Ted over for a few drinks.  While they sip on wine and bourbon, Al tells Rose to tell a joke.  Rose tells a joke about a man who learns from his doctor that he is dying.  As she delivers the punchline, Ted begins to laugh.  His laughter turns to coughing, which quickly becomes choking.  Ted stands, trying to breath.  The others express concern: "Ted?"  Suddenly, Ted makes a gurgling sound, stops in his tracks, and falls on his face.  Frantically, the others try to help him, but Ted is unresponsive.  They call for help.  Later, Rose slowly puts down the telephone in shock, telling Al that Ted has died.  Rose: "He never woke up."  Al: "At least he died laughing."  Rose, agitated: "Why did I have to tell that stupid joke?!"  (Caution: Lord's name used in vain)


Margaret and Richard are eating breakfast when Margaret asks why Richard gave up painting.  Richard: "You know why."  Margaret: "I don't, actually."  Richard, angrily: "I had to make a living.  I had to make money."  Margaret quietly tells Richard she is leaving him.  Later, Richard and his father are discussing marriage.  Al: "Your mom and I, we never had problems like that."  Richard laughs: "Yes, you did.  You just didn't talk about them, that's all.  It was a different time."  Al tells his son that his wife did leave him once, for four days, but she came back.  Al: "She came back, and she never left again."  Richard: "Yeah, well, it was a different time, like I said."  Al suggests that Richard sell the house.  Richard: "I will tell you what I am going to do.  I am going to paint."


Al walks into the living room and tells Rose he's been fired.  Al is obviously devastated to be losing his long-time job: "Didn't I always sell for 'em Rose, didn't I?"  Al worries about their mounting bills: "We'll have to take a new mortgage out on the house somehow.  The roof'll have to wait."  Al begins to cry, his self-worth shattered: "They shrunk me, Rose.  They shrunk me.  What am I going to do now, Rose?  What am I going to do?"  Rose embraces him: "We'll figure it out.  We always do."

Margaret and Richard are now old and Margaret suffers from dementia.  Hoping to reignite her memory once more, Richard has brought her to the house where they raised their family.  As they sit in the living room where so much life happened, Richard reminds her of the happy milestones of their marriage that took place in that very room.  He points to the fireplace where they took their marriage vows.  He reflects how she gave birth to their daughter right where they sit.  Margaret looks vague and somewhat agitated, struggling to remember what Richard is telling her.  Richard talks of their life together: "I have no regrets."  Suddenly, Margaret seems to remember something: "Vanessa?"  Richard tells a story of Vanessa's childhood and Margaret comes to life: "I remember!"  The memory has triggered something deep in her mind and Margaret begins to cry.  Her past is restored to her in that moment: "I remember being here.  I love it here.  I love it here."  She cries happily, holding hands with Richard for the last time in their old house.
